It'd had been a fine summers night where Magni had been. A fine night for a job. He'd been minding his own business, innocently breaking into someone's home to kill them, before sensing a disturbance in the space. Frowning, unable to determine what it was, he continued forward into the manor. In a flash, it felt like his whole world had inverted, and he was dragged across the whole of reality and thrust into a brand new world. He wobbles as he tries to orient himself, trying to figure out where the hell he was. He blinks, straightening up from his crouch as his white hair stirred in the sudden breeze, his golden eyes darting around. "What the hell?" he murmurs to himself, sliding his daggers away into the sheathes at his lower back.
He frowns as he looks around him, pulling down the call that covered the lower half of his face. He looks around him, before turning fully to stare up at the massive tower springing up from the ground. "How curious. It feels like many worlds emanate from the tower." he says softly, thankful that he'd felt intelligence was a far more useful trait than his father had. He slips one hand up, rubbing the golden band around his arm that remained hidden beneath his cloak before proceeding to check the rest of the items on his person, making sure that he had all of his gear. He slides his hand into his pockets as he continues frowning, wondering where he was and whether or not he could establish a new business here. Missing that job was going to hurt his reputation. But new world, and new opportunities. Perhaps being an assassin would be just as lucrative here as it had been on the other worlds he'd traveled to.

"Hm..."
Frowning, Sora turned the map upside down, trying to make sense of the many squiggles and dotted lines. Just a few hours ago, he'd found himself wandering around a tiny, little town. It had been pleasant enough, until a frantic, middle aged woman had grabbed him by the collar and nearly yanked him over. She'd begged him to go to a tower and give the wizard who lived there his daily tribute; if the wizard didn't get his tribute he would unleash a terrible curse upon the town. Sora, being the kind of person he was, had agreed immediately.
Unfortunately, the wizard lived at least three hours walk away from the town. The woman had given him a map, and than had run off to help the other townspeople with a problem in the well-- apparently there was an outbreak of monsters? Sora would have helped, but the woman had insisted that he leave for the wicked wizard's towers at once. A brief explaination of the map, and Sora found himself thrust down the road with only a map to guide him.
A map that didn't make very much sense. "Am I even holding this the right way up?" Sora mused, looking at the map again. There was nothing to distinguish north from south, and honestly, he didn't think he was anywhere near where he needed to be. The sun had set about an hour ago, he really had to hurry up and find the tower. But how was he supposed to get there if he didn't even know where the heck he was? Sighing, Sora folded the map and stuck it back into his pocket, deciding to wing it and hope to come across the tower by chance.
A few minutes later and it seemed Sora's insane good luck would hold. Rising up in the horizon, the tower was a black line against the sky. Grinning, Sora began to run towards it before something caught his attention. Running right at him was some sort of gigantic wolf-demon! Three eyes were locked on the hero as a mouth full of fangs bared and dripping with saliva howled. Eyes widening, Sora yelped and immediately began running towards the tower full tilt!
Question was, would he reach it, or would the wolf-demon catch up first?

Magni continued to frown as he stared around him, before his keen ears caught the sound of...something. He turned to look and was only moderately surprised to see a child running his direction. He raises a hand in greeting, calling out to address him. "Hey there, can you tell...HOLY FUCK!" his jaw dropped as he stared at the thing chasing the kid, wondering what the hell it was. Similar to a massive wolf with three eyes, the thing was clearly new to the assassin. His twin daggers snap at as he rushes to the kid, grinning from ear to ear. He laughs heartily as he slides into place, just in time for the massive demon wolf to launch itself at Sora, thinking to have him and be done with it. Much to it's surprise, it found a new opponent in place for it.
"BOOYAH BITCH!" he laughs, ducking beneath it swiftly, launching an uppercut that launched the demon high into the air. "C'mon kid, why are you running around with the big bad wolf chasing you? Little boys should know better than to go unarmed!" he laughs, spinning to deliver a brutal kick straight up as the demon fall back to the earth, the sound of snapping ribs coming as sweet music to his ears. A second swift spin delivered a second kick, launching the demon away, sending it skidding and bouncing along the ground as he came back up into a balanced stance, twirling the daggers easily between his fingers. "Man, weak opponents here." he says, watching the wolf for additional movement. He shrugs as he slides his daggers back into the sheaths at his lower back, slipping his hands into his pockets before turning to the kid. "You alright kid?" he asks, wondering still where he was.

Looked like there was someone by the tower. They called out a greeting to Sora, but promptly noticed the giant demon chasing him and forgot about that. Weakly grinning, Sora raised a hand to wave at him, choosing instead to run faster. Even though he could probably have fought the demon and won, he didn't like fighting against opponents that weren't the Heartless too much. This poor thing was probably just hungry, and thought he'd make a good snack. Alright, it was hard to stay peaceable when something that big was chasing after you...
But it seemed like the new person wasn't too frightened at all by the giant demon. Just as it leaped for Sora, the boy's oversized shoes caught in a root hidden by the grass, it found itself being launched into the air instead! Twisting around to watch the battle with wide eyes, Sora tried to free his foot from the root. The plant had somehow managed to twist itself quite well, and it took Sora yanking, yanking, and then finally burning it with a quick Fire spell to free himself. Fortunately though, in that time, the man had thoroughly defeated the wolf.
It clearly decided that dinner wasn't worth this much trouble. Letting out a loud whine of pain, the demon turned around, tail between it's legs, and began to limp away as fast as it could with it's injuries. Looked like that was one wolfie that wasn't going to be causing trouble for anyone again for a long time.
Sighing softly, Sora nodded to his question, and grinned. "Yeah! I'm okay, thanks for the save." Getting back to his feet, the keyblade wielder dusted himself off. "My name is Sora! What's your name?" Thankfully, the clothes, being magically imbued, could not be stained with grass, or ripped by anything. One of the perks of having a powerful wizard for a friend. "Do you know if this is the tower where the wicked, evil wizard lives?" Sora asked him, glancing back at it.

Magni shrugs at his questions. "I don't even know where the hell I am. For all I know, a freaking army could be living in that tower." he says with a shrug. He turns to stare at the tower, his brow knitting together in thought. "Entirely possible I suppose. Oh, my name's Magni. Nice meeting you Sora." he says, gesturing towards the tower. "Care to go check it out? I might be able to get some answers about where I am. Admittedly I sometimes wander worlds, but this one was rather unintentional." he says, grinning lightly. He looks questioningly at Sora, wondering about the kid. It struck him as odd that a kid would be wandering around like this, unarmed or armoured. Maybe that was normal here, who was he to say? He was just as proficient at hand to hand as he was with a weapon, so maybe the kid was similar.
"So Sora, where do you hail from? Er...come from?" he says, quickly correcting his slip into the old archaic phrasing. Damned old habits. "And do you know anything about where I am? I was out on a...contract, when I randomly got pulled here. Kinda confusing, to be honest. And I really don't look being confused." he says with a laugh, walking along beside Sora. "And seriously, why are you unarmed? It certainly seems like you could use a weapon in this place." he says, blinking once. He turns his attention back to the tower as they approach it, keeping his senses turned outwards to keep aware of their surroundings. He wasn't often ambushed, and the few times he had been, his ambushers hadn't exactly fared so well. He was a little jumpy when surprised, naturally, and thus people that had ambushed him drastically reduced their life expectancy.

Sora looked at the tower. So he didn't know if this was the tower were the wicked wizard lived or not? Sora frowned, worried. What if something happened to the townspeople because he didn't get there in time? Like the man had said, maybe the wizard had an army living in that tower. Wizards were really powerful after all, and they could do pretty much anything that they wanted to. As far as Sora knew of them, at least. He'd only really known two wizards so far, Yen Sid and Merlin. But both of them were really strong, though benevolent. What could other wizards be like?
"It's nice to meet you, Magni!" With a smile, Sora nodded to the man. "And yeah! I'd love to check it out. See, there was this town, and this woman..." Awkwardly, he fumbled around in his pocket and pulled out the map. "I was supposed to go and find this tower that a wicked wizard lives in, but I got lost." Sheepishly, he grinned and rubbed the back of his forehead. "I guess I'm not very good at reading maps." Well, he'd always had someone before to do that for him...
With Magni by his side, Sora began to walk towards the tower. He had a feeling that there was something in that tower, of great strength. Just a feeling, but he didn't understand where it came from. "I come from Destiny Islands." He conversed casually, longingly thinking of the little island. "It's a set of islands in an ocean, really nice. But the Heartless came, and I haven't really been able to go back for long since." He wouldn't be able to go back for an even longer time it seemed like, since he was stuck in this world.
The tower was nearing. It loomed overhead, ominous and grand. The doors had locks on them, large chains that stretched down to prevent access, but that was no problem for Sora. He had the Keyblade, it could unlock anything and everything. "Sorry I can't tell you, I don't know either. I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later though!" Cheerfully, the brown haired boy nodded and grinned. "I'm not unarmed." Sora stopped in front of the door.
In a flash of light, he summoned the keyblade. Pointing it at the chain, Sora closed his eyes, and the keyblade began to glow. A second later and it emitted a bright ray of light, hitting the lock. With a click sound, the light faded away and the lock was unlocked, the doors pulling away to reveal the dark interior. "I've got the Keyblade!"
