The shadows shifted and moved behind the poor soul. It's jaws snapped open and shut in warning at it's stalker, bellowing and screeching at the invisible being.
The beast was a demon, a rather big one too. It crawled on all fours, it’s legs closely resembling thick spears attached to backwards hinges for knees. It’s thick, stocky torso was littered with scars mixed with rotting wounds, an explanation to the horrid stench. Sprouting out from the torso was an elongated neck, spines running from the base of its huge head to the base of its stubby tail. The head itself held large, jagged teeth grinding against each other in anticipation of its next meal as it’s slatted red eyes fixed themselves upon the moving shadows. Pieces of flesh hung from various points on it’s body, completing it hideousness and giving the beast the illusion that it was falling apart.
But it's appearance apparently did nothing to deter the hunted that followed close behind- a huge wolf-like demon. Oh how the wolf hated to drag out kills, but this one might just take a bit. But only a bit, it's hunger was so great. Not wanting to prolong this any longer, the wolf-demon launched itself from the safety of the shadows, jaws fully open and claws glistening in the moonlight. However, it's prey was not as slow as expected and lifted one massive leg to swat it's attacker away.
The wolf planted it's front paws on the limb as it swung and leaped to the side back to the earth before springing again, this time succeeding in latching it's jaws around the poor demon's neck. It dug it's hind paws into the ground and used it's own weight to rip the demon to the ground. This done, the wolf reached up and sunk both sets of claws into its eye sockets, missing the eyes themselves, but still catching the tender skin just below and pin it to the earth. The action was still enough to make the beast cry out in pain, an action that only fed the large wolf's feral nature. Deeper it sunk it's teeth into the tender flesh of the dying demon's throat as it gurgled and choked.
The beast thrashed and struggled, trying everything in it's power to remove the furry leech's grip. But it was to no avail. Finally the wolf grew tired of her sport- planting its back legs firmly, it jerked upward with such force, that a resounding snap echoed through the trees. The wolf held it's grip until it was sure the deed was done, then released it's hold. It licked it's bloodied jaws with mild disappointment- another low class. These guys did not hold her for very long at all. Hadn't she just done this a few days ago?
Saasha's ears fell a bit, but then perked up again to listen for movement as it bent it's head and sniffed at the corpse. Yes it was dead, but was this really worth the trouble? It sighed and looked to the messenger bag at the base of one of the trees, remembering that she still had her metal drink case inside. Perhaps, it would be wise to fill it for later. Her actions decided, her pink and black tongue flicked out to taste test her quarry.

Lyger, with his newly discovered powers, began his walk through the city. It seem such a pleasant place, especially at night, when chaos was on the rise. Apophis was also pleased with this place, as it seemed to be more chaotic that the sandy Egypt. Lyger noticed that there was an faint snap, some what like a crocodile snapping his mouth while far away. Apophis also heard it, but he heard it more clearly than Lyger "Lyger, we should sssee what that noissse wasss, is sssounded very... ominous"[/i] "You are right, there is something not right here."
Lyger began to head towards the sound, which came from woods. Before he entered the woods though, he took out his blowgun from chaos, and pricked his finger with a dart, making the dart poisonous. He put the blow dart into his blowgun, and put his blow gun within his cloak. With that, he entered into the woods. He could barely see, as the light did not shine here, but eventually he began to see a clearing form in the distance. As he looked into the clearing, he could see three things that caught is attention. The first was the weird creature standing over a demon. The creature seemed to have fur, but was much bigger than a cat, nothing he had seen in Egypt. The second was the demon on the ground. Thisss isss not one of my demonsss, but it isss indeed a demon. This mere beassst took down a demon, which meansss this isss no mere beassst. The third was the bag against the tree. Demons usually didn't carry anything exempt maybe a weapon, and he couldn't see a human corpse, which was strange. Lyger decided to press his right thumb and index finger together, releasing the nanobots, which hovered around him. If this beast came to attack him, he would use the bots to inflict poison onto the beast.
((OOC: Just to clear things up, red means Apophis is talking, and white means Lyger is talking))

((Btw her shoulders are about five to five and a half feet high))
Saasha jerked her head up and retracted her tongue, rolling her eyes internally when a bit of blood from the puddle splashed to her nose with the action. She licked it off and regarded the newcomer with glowing orange eyes, all of them. Her head tails remained pulled back in contrast to her ears that were straight perked towards the smell of the newcomer, her lips peeling back ever so slightly but now sound coming from them. Couldn't she just have one hunt with no interferences?
She took a moment to breath in the scent- human. But something was off, but she was used to that. She turned her third eye on the demon under her feet- no way to hide it now. She let out a low growl- more of a moan. It was only meant as a warning. She was not keen on having this being be so cautious. But was that hesitance because of the scene or because it wished to achieve something? Either way, as per her mindset, if it attacked, it would die... no she couldn't do that. It was human. Orders were orders unless it came down to her own life.
And so she stood stock still over her prey, staring into the trees at the approaching human- an old man? She tilted her head to the side a bit in curiosity.

Lyger heard the low growl, and slid his foot back a bit, incase this beast attacked him. But as he came more into view, he saw the beast more clearly, and how it was about as tall as him. He pressed his thumb and index finger together again, and the nanobots went back into his body. Then, he opens the portal back into chaos behind a tree, and places his blowgun back in there, and takes out a bow staff, and puts it on his back. Apophis was worried about this beast before them. "There isss sssomething not right with thisss creature. It isss not any beassst I know of, if it isss even a beassst." "Oh be quite Apophis... wait, I just said that out loud, oh well."
Lyger looked back at the beast, who head was now turned, and began to wonder again, what it was. Slowly, Lyger walked into the clearing, with the beast about twenty feet away. He put out his hand, palm down, and raised his cloak up, revealing his skin. He looked at the feet of the beast, though could still see its head, so he would aggravate it too much. Lyger whistles a bit, "Here boy, I don't mean you any harm." He whistles again, and waits for the beast to respond.

She sniffed the air cautiously as he approached, wondering why he had spoken to himself. He seemed harmless enough, but she was still not sure how to take his actions. He seemed weaponless, but then she had known plenty of humans with power unimaginable. On one hand, it could be a trap most canines would fall for, and to have him aproaching her when under her feet lay a dead and mangled demon? She didn't like that fact too much- but...
Again, she sniffed. Although there was something very off about this man, she could feel that he meant no harm for the moment. But.. he smelled... Metallic somehow. That was a bit of a comfort should things go sour. Once again, her canine side won over the more rational side and she took a step forward at the prospect of interaction. Stupid Saasha. What are you doing? She asked herself idly as she slowly strode forward until her nose jsut grazed his fingertips. she wasn't keen on letting her prey just lie there but she knew she could jump back to it should something creep up on them, not that the lower class was worth the trouble but she hated leaving a mess that she had made just lying around.

Lyger didn't face the beast, and continued to look down, trying not to provoke the great beast before him. He was very nervous, until the beasts noise grazed his fingertips, and he let out a sigh. "Oh, thank Apophis... Despite his calmness before, he was very happy that the beast trusted him enough to allow him to graze its nose. He slowly lowered his hand down, and looked up a bit, now facing the beast at a very close distance. His eyes however, were on the bag leaning on the pine tree, and confirmed his thoughts, That bag is defiantly human, but it isn't Egyptian...[/i] Slowly, Lyger crept to towards the bag, which was on the other side of the clearing, avoiding the body of the demon, and the beast.

Now this concerned her. That bag held something very special and dear to her and she was not about to let anyone touch it, let alone someone she had no idea about. As Lyger tried to get around her, she simply plopped one of her massive front paws down in front of his path, using her leg and chest to block him from advancing. The sound of a discontented moan came from Saasha's jaws, but the sound had a peculiar quality, as if it were trapped at the point of it's origin. Not a threatening sound in the least, in fact if one listened, it would actually be fairly humorous, but her still glowing eyes told a different story. Although they were still neutral, the glow increased a bit.
She had a couple things in there that she would not be keen on his discovering... Then why did she even bring them? She sighed to herself. She didn't want to get on this man's nerves but she also didn't want him to get nosy. Her master had strictly ordered that she not frighten any humans. Other species? Fair game, but humans? No. And seeing that he was an elderly man... Well that could go two ways. One, he could be one that had seen much in his time and not be frieghtened by much. Or two, he could be, not easily frightened, but easily startled. At this point she didn't think he was the cowardly type considering that he had walked up on a nearly five foot six at the shoulders demon wolf standing over a creature nearly twice her size. Not only that but to call her over like he did... She had felt his fear, but was thoroughly impressed by his fortitude.

Lyger slowly tried to make his way to the bag, but was cut off by the beast. It let out a low moan, but is was very unusual. Its body blocked the path to the bag, as if the beast didn't want Lyger to get to it. However, it was probably because of the fact Lyger got closer to the body of the demon. Lyger took a step back, to prevent any other accidental provocation. "Oh, I see, you want that demon don't you... don't worry, I don't want the demon..."
Lyger smiled at the beast, and noticed its bright orange eyes... they seemed to be so interesting; Lyger couldn't take his eyes off them. This didn't matter to Lyger though, the eyes enthralled him. However, he realized that he still needed to check the bag, and looked down. He began to speak, in a pant."Huh, huh... I am... huh... just going for... huh... the bag. Why... am I... so out of... breath..." Slowly, he side steps the beast, and tries to go for the bag again.

This city, this world, was not like his home, a beach of darkness illuminated by a mysterious moon. The sounds of life among the realm of light intrigued him much. The smells of their foods, the sounds of laughter brought a smile to his face, but also took it away. He, a Nobody, a being of darkness, could never experience this could he? His guards were... almost like friends.... but did they feel this way? Occasionally he felt a feeling in his chest around them, it made him feel..... safe? It was strange... but it made him wonder... did he have a heart? It is not like he can just look inside.
The guards were not around, not now. He was alone in the city, cloak hood pulled over his head and drawstrings pulled taught to keep from his identity from being known. However... he smelled a dark presence nearby and rushed to investigate it. The sounds of city life made him aware of his surroundings. Then... the scent was gone, replaced by the iron smell he guessed was blood, but their were two others in the area. "Who is there", he asked emotionlessly, unveiling his hood as he did. His long white hair spilled out as he did also revealing the black blindfold he wore.

Saasha moaned internally. She really had to start curbing her wolf-en side better. It was not that she felt threatened by the newcomer's presence. She knew very well that she could get away if need be, but it was the fact that her aura turned very active the moment he stepped into her presence and that meant only one thing. A quick sniff in his direction confirmed the discovery- he was mad of pure darkness. She looked to the old man briefly, ignoring his gasping for the most part. Her attention was split too much for her to discern whether he was being true or not.
She didn't answer the new man, she only turned to gather her bag and get away. She didn't mind one person, but two? There was a difference between cowardliness and wisdom- and at this point she found it wise to take her leave. She began to pick her way over the fallen demon towards her bag.

"Oh, someone new... hello there sir." However, despite his warm welcoming, Lyger didn't trust this man at all. Neither did the beast, as she began to walk towards her dinner, and the bag. Apophis was also nervous of this man, which was strange since he was a demon. "Sssilence you fool, you do not even know thisss man..."[/i] This confirmed his suspicions, but not what he was. Lyger, under his sleeves of his cloak, pressed both of his thumbs to both of his middle fingers. This released the type 1 and 3 nanobots, that began to attach to the inside of his cloak. If a fight were to break out, theses nanobots would serve there purpose. "Well, look at the time, I must must be off..." Lyger wasn't actually leaving, just simply going into the woods and then hid to see what would happen.

Kuxir felt a minor pain as his chest as he examined the tone of the man's voice. The man's welcome was fake, an act. What was this.... anger? Frustration? It was... new... and strange, but it did not make matters better for him. He felt his hand cover where his heart should be unconsciously, and recovered his hand to his side once more. He knew there were others here.... he smelled them, he heard them. He wanted an answer, if not he would not have asked who they were. He didn't like to waste his breath on meaningless questions, but these did have meaning to him, and without meaning there was no purpose for Kuxir, NONE.
"I... will not... be ignored... I know you both are trying to leave me here...... if you cannot grant me your name.... then I assume no one else would....", he said with a sad and heavy tone in his voice. The strangle weighted feeling in his chest grew stronger, and he found himself sobbing. What was this? Did he feel sorrow?

Saasha stopped for a moment as an alabaster hand reached out and grasped the soft handle of the bag. A young man. His legs were covered by a pair of dark jeans and a black long sleeve shirt hid the tops of his leather gloves. His jet black hair fell into his face as he bent to retrieve the bag. When he stood, his ice blue eyes peered at the company present with interest and scrutiny. " Is there a problem, Mastress?" He stood erect and slid the shoulder strap on the bag over his shoulder. A slight head shake would be his response. In his mind her would receive a certain order. He nodded and tugged his black military cap a bit lower, extracting a metal canister from the bag and approaching the dead demon. He unscrewed the cap and set it to the side. He then did the most peculiar thing. Lifting a piece of the beast and letting the blood that ran out fall into the canister, he kept his eyes trained on his work, but watched Saasha out of the corner of his eyes. " My Mastress bids me tell you that her name is Saasha." The work done and the canister full, he rose again after wiping his hands on the soft grasses. " And my name is Joshua. She asks who you are." He turned to the elderly man, but didn't say a word as he retreated into the woods. He had already trained his eyes and nose on the man and would be watching him carefully to be sure he left. With a few paces, he now stood next to the huge wolf. Saasha on her part had stopped her advance once Joshua had made his appearance and merely turned back to the pair.

Lyger was stunned at the new man here, as the beast seemed to control him. However, that didn't make him forget the other man. Lyger's statement was not that he was nervous, or fearful, rather it was that he was careful. With the beast he was not very careful, because he didn't think it was, well, a sentinel being capable of communication. He hasn't seen the communication, but the new man, Joshua, talked as if this beast, or Saasha, could communicate. Lyger shook his head a bit, and faced the man who seemed disappointed. "I am sorry for that, I had forgotten about my name, my name is Lyger Ka't Ru." Lyger bowed towards the man, then quickly regained his posture. He noticed that the man was sobbing. Guilt began to flood Lyger, which was strange for him. He wanted to comfort the man, but he still didn't know this man to well. This didn't matter, Lyger put his right hand into his left sleeve, and pulled out an object, covered in a thin metallic metal. He peeled the metal, and within it, there was a piece of Egyptian bread. "You seem a bit upset, would you like some of this Egyptian bread, fresh as if it was made today." Lyger then turned to Joshua and the beast. "My offer extends also to you Joshua, and ... Saasha..."

Kuxir quickly sobered from this boisterous emotion, back to his normal, emotionless manner. He had no need for food, nor did he know what bread and Egyptian meant. They were meaningless and purposeless as Kuxir was, so he ignored the old man and his offer. However he felt another presence and he assumed it was the silent one's... aide? Either way, he was obliged to give his name.
"My name.... Number Fifteen.... Key of Fate.... Kuxir..... Have you seen the Organization around?", he replied to Saasha. The world through his "Eyes" was smaller than actual size, so he figured that the Organization would be here.
