He'd been dialing for what seemed like hours. He was fresh back from his stunt at the Hellsing manor, in a run down place, new seals put up to allow only those with the blood of Sparda running through their veins to enter. Daikus was sitting against an old desk, once again dialing the number and waiting for the other end to pick up. Jesus, didn't that ol' geezer know how to use a cell phone already? Nevertheless, he'd wait here till gramps showed up, especially with what was sitting on the desk behind him. A large military like weapon case that easily came up to about Daikus' lowest rib. See, there were knock offs, Copies, and even duplicates of this thing. It's very presence drove many demon running for their lives... And under a descendant of Sparda's control... it could become that much more powerful. But all in all it was the geezer's to have, bout time he got it back. Though it had taken forever and a day.... or month to find the damn thing, getting through Temin-Ni-Gru, having to fight off every fucking demon that didn't want him to have it. A drag off of a cigarette released some of his aggravation for a short period of time. That guy better show up...

It would not be much longer before the man Anthony was after finally showed up. Through the seals, his presence came; that familiar, dense aura of ancient power that seemed to fill the room as Sparda walked in. He took a long moment to look his grandson up and down, then glanced over the sizeable metal case at the boy's side.
"Sorry for not answering," he began. "Her Majesty sent me to assist Hellsing's cleanup. I decided it was safer to refrain from contacting you with them around." He further suppressed his aura, keeping it concealed within the building. The two were more or less invisible now.
"So, what's in the goody bag?"

Well it was about time, as Sparda walked into the area. He shrugged in response, " Seems legit." It was a good thing he had already informed Sparda of his plans, and for being such a good sport about it... " Oh this thing?" He patted the case before pulling it next to him and pushing off the table. As the first clip was unlocked, there was a mixed feeling of auras, but the most prominent was that of the power had seal away over two thousand years ago. The second clip popped and the feeling got much more intense. As the case was slung open there was a bright amethyst light before it faded and Tony stepped away from the case. There, in the case sat his original force edge, the original with the perfect amulet already within the hilt. " I went through a shit ton of trouble to get this..." He lifted it from the case and showed it's full presence as the blade pulsed violet every once in a while. " It's missed it's master." He set the Force Edge back into the case before also noting a few of the other things in the case. " I also managed to get like.... five large vital stars, seven large devil stars and like ten gold orbs, you know, for those pesky days when you're not feeling yourself and the whole world manages to kill ya a little."

Sparda's eyes narrowed slightly as Tony moved to unlock the case. The moment that first clasp was released, a sudden, overwhelming aura surged forth from inside, along with a bright violet light. The familiarity and sheer power stopped the Dark Knight in his tracks, eyes widening again.
Then the case opened. He took a tentative step forward, as if disbelieving in the sight before him, and listened to Tony's explanation of the case's contents. "You've returned it to me..." It wouldn't be easy to properly express what that meant to the old demon. Slowly, a smile of gratitude crept across his face. "Thank you, Tony."

Tony only chuckled, " Not a problem, I figured if you're going to be a legend in this world too. You'll need the one thing that made you both famous, and infamous at the same time." He paused, looking down upon the case... he turned to face Sparda, Force Edge in hand and arms outstretched handing it to Sparda and then turning back to look upon the table. A small sigh released from his lips, he couldn't tell him exactly what had happened... not just yet... but... " I'm going to need you to do me a few favors..." His voice was low and held somewhat of a caring tone. Odd for the usually standoffish personality of Tony. " In the weeks to follow, Hellsing will probably be trying to track me down. They'll use any means. If they do that, it means I need someone to look after two people of interest, One simply goes by the name of Saasha, She lives in a manor on the outskirts of Hallowton. She's the first and only living familiar, I'm relinquishing her to you, look after her and guide her. Her release seal command is Narissa Strong." He paused for a moment, " The second one, will smell much like myself... Her name is Melany Himura. She needs guidance and teaching that right now, is too dangerous for me to give. To be frank it's too dangerous for any of them to be around me." He collected the other small items into a bag before handing it to Sparda, along with an empty chemistry vile. " Don't ask anymore questions, the less you know, the less Alucard can try to probe your mind. Just do me that favor and protect them, take them under your wing if you have too." He paused before pointing out the vile, " I also need one more thing... A bit of your blood. My own blood ability is starting to wear thin again... like the last time in Domino City. I can't let that happen just yet." He watched Sparda for a moment, " After you leave this location, lock this memory away, and seal it off from the world. Just let the names of Saasha, and Melany Himura be remembered, and when they're spoken... you only remember that you want to protect them. For my sake."

Sparda reached out slowly to accept his grandson's gift. Carefully, almost reverently, his gloved right hand closed over the hilt of the weapon, lifting it out of Tony's grasp. The moment his grip tightened upon it, a pulse of amethyst light radiated from the blade, casting its glow across the two devils and the dim room. He stepped back, giving it a few cursory swings, reacquainting himself with the weight and balance.
Though busy with this for a few moments, the sudden change of Tony's tone of voice didn't escape the Dark Knight's notice. He lowered the weapon and listened, eyes narrowing very slightly as the boy went into some detail about a pair of favours he would ask of his grandfather; to seek out and protect two acquaintances of his. A familiar and a sire... Sparda hadn't expected that. Tony certainly hadn't gone out of his way to mention them before now, but he obviously worried for them now that Hellsing would be hunting him, and there had to be a good reason for his silence that Sparda chose not to push.
"I understand," he responded, nodding his acknowledgement and taking the rest of the case's contents. Force Edge continued to pulse with violet luminescence, seemingly glad to be back in its true master's possession. Cerulean eyes turned downwards towards the glass flask and narrowed a little. "That, I can understand. Where I subsist on souls, you still need blood." He placed the flask on the table next to Tony, listening to him stressing that this exchange had to be forgotten for their safety. For a normally carefree individual like Tony to go to such lengths to protect these apprentices of his from harm...
Setting down his returned sword for a brief moment, the demon pulled the glove off his left hand. He took up the weapon, holding his hand over the flask and drawing the tip of the blade across his palm in a quick, shallow cut. Holding back the instinctive wince of pain, he allowed his blood to run from the wound, dripping thick into the flask . Tensing and clenching the extremity, he continued to drain it until the wound finally closed up, then pushed the half-full flask over towards Tony and donned his glove again.
"I don't know exactly what you're planning here, my boy, and there's little sense questioning it now." He turned to face his grandson, his face softening into a warm smile of encouragement. "But I appreciate your faith in me. I won't let you down..." He reached out with his left hand, squeezing Tony's near shoulder. "You just make sure you come back to us alive."

It was almost touching to see Sparda swing around the Force Edge like that, like a parent being reacquainted with their long lost child. As his grandfather obliged about the blood and everything else, it was refreshing to know he was indeed listening. As the flask was filled, Tony was quick to put a plunger in it as it was handed to him. He only smiled as Sparda patted him on the shoulder. " I got quite the nickname back in the Demon World, I'm Daikus the Undying. The Bearer of death's curse that just won't die... Of course I'll come back alive." He paused for a moment, a smile still on his face, " And with any luck... the world will be rid of two less tyrants."

Tony's confidence was comfortingly characteristic. Sparda couldn't help but smile, Force Edge continuing to glow and pulse, abuzz with surface vestiges of the gargantuan power sealed within that was now Sparda's to command.
He paused for a moment after Tony finished speaking, allowing a brief silence to hang in the air, before pulling the young hybrid into a hug. He'd never gotten to do this with Dante... Damned if he failed to be there for his grandson at every opportunity.
"Leave your apprentices to me. You go do what you need to do. Kick some ass, take a few more names and bring back a tale to tell."

Once again Tony was caught off guard once again. What was it with his family members giving fucking hugs lately? Wasn't this usually a dysfunctional family...? Oh well didn't matter, what mattered right now... " Uhm, Pops... you're crushing me..."

Sparda couldn't help but laugh at Tony's protest and let him go, shaking his head in spite of himself. He could tell exactly what the boy was thinking.
"Alright, alright," he chuckled, adjusting his monocle. He paused, and the silence returned in earnest for a few brief moments as Sparda regarded his young grandson, very much coming into his own as a warrior. "I guess it's time to head back to the castle," he finally continued, his face falling very slightly. "Lori will be expecting me back... Good luck, Tony."
With that, the Dark Knight turned upon his heels, swinging Force Edge down to his side and met with a brief pulse of the weapon's mighty aura, casting a final flash of amethyst light over the room before he swept out of sight. All the while, he was at work crafting a spell from his vast energies... The second he stepped out of the building, it cast itself upon his mind, wiping his memory of what had happened inside. He retained only three things; the certainty that this new weapon was his to claim, the identities of his grandson's two apprentices, and the compulsion to carry out the task given to him and take these mystery women under his wing.
He smiled faintly to himself, glancing down at the sword and gazing at his reflection in the pristine blade for a moment. An almost perfect Merjutsu weapon; the only definite improvement he could suggest to himself was Yamato, though Vergil had never been anywhere to be found since even before Dominion. His first task, then, would be to forge a scabbard for his legendary blade and work on the iaido strikes Arix commonly employed to bolster his attacks...
Down at the bottom of that list, something he was resolved to learn, was Elghinnen Ktonos.
The Dark Knight narrowed his eyes, tightened his grip upon his returned weapon and made for the castle to report back to Lori.

He nodded in return, " And good luck to you too." As Sparda left the building he waited until the Devil disappeared behind the horizon before looking at the flask of Sparda's Blood. That was easy... The flash suddenly grew frost over it as Tony manipulated his Cryokeneisis " And now so it begins..."
