Notable Skills:
1.Alchemist-Through much trial and error, Relampago has become a very skilled alchemist. He has memorized many ingredients to put together some very useful potions and poisons.
2.Enchanting Craftsman-Relampago has studied the art of smithing and enchanting to make very powerful items for different people. His most noticeable accomplishment was the creation of Cazador's Mark VII Matrix Power Armor with the help of Cazador's father, Salvador.
2.Physical Combat-While mainly specializing in magic, Relampago does have the basic knowledge of fighting in hand to hand combat, swordsmanship, and archery.
Special Abilities:
1.Master of the Elements-Through countless years of training, meditation, and study, Relampago has learned to use the elements of the planet. By using magic, he can produce, each of these elements from his body or manipulate any of these elements that are already in the environment. His mastery prevents enemies from absorbing or turning his powers against him.
2.Thu'um-In normal language it is called Dragon Shouts. Due to being Dragonborn, Relampago has the ability to use the language of the dragons by absorbing the souls of the dragons he slays. By shouting in their language, he can release a variety of abilities.
3.Alteration-Relampago's alteration spells mainly include defensive and non combat abilities.
4.Restoration-By using a large portion of his magic pool, Relampago can heal himself, allies, or go almost as far as bringing people back from the brink of death. This power can even be used offensively by targeting the undead.
5.Blind Sight-After attempting to gain deeper knowledge into understanding the Elder Scrolls, Relampago became blinded by their wisdom from being unable to comprehend it all. In exchange he gained a new form of sight in which he sees things differently than others. By focusing on the fabric of space and time, he can see the world around him with his mind. This allows him to see through illusions, sense the locations of his enemies, and to a certain degree, look into the hearts and minds of others with telepathy.
6.Illusionist-Relampago can use his magic to cast a variety of illusions on those around him. By using his Blind Sight to look into the hearts of people he can see what will affect their emotions. From there he can cast an illusion accordingly to make them sad, mad, happy, angry, or fearful. Illusions don't just have to target their emotions. Relampago can also cast illusions on the environment to alter a person's perception. For example, he can make an exact image of himself or alter a graveyards appearance to make it look like a playground. The more extreme the illusion is then the more magic it will cost Relampago to make. His illusions are not full proof. Those with training to resist illusions are much more difficult to fool.
Weapons:
1.Conjured Sword-By reaching into the hearts of Oblivion, Relampago can summon a demonic sword into his hand. The sword appears to be very ghost like and hollow, but it is quite solid and sharp.
2.Conjured Bow-Just like his Conjured Sword, Relampago can summon a demonic bow with the same kind of physical appearance as the sword.
3.The Staff of Magnus-The staff has the appearance of a rod with with spikes at the end that cover a glowing orb. Relampago has learned to use his illusion magic to disguise its true appearance into that of a simple walking stick. It attacks in the form of a glowing blue stream of magic. Once the beam makes contact with an enemy, it absorbs their energy and transfers it back to Relampago to recharge his magic supply. The staff is unalterable. Relampago hides the staff with in his soul when not being used. If anyone other than Relampago attempts to pick up the staff, it will rapidly begin to drain away their energy.
4.Potion of the Phoenix-Relampago carries with him, a potion in his coat. This potion holds a regenerative ability that can restore just enough of his magic and health to either do one of two things, attempt a last stand or escape. It is best used when he is heavily damaged and drained from combat, otherwise it will be wasted. Relampago has created this potion so it can only be drank by him and him alone. To any others who drink it, it is poison that will do the opposite.
Strengths/Weaknesses:Since he was young, Relampago has been gifted with powerful magical talents. He can hold many enemies at bay and fight without ever having to lay a finger on them. His variety of spells allows him to be highly versatile on the battlefield. He can fill the roles of crowd control, support, or a glass canon. As powerful of a mage, Relampago is, he suffers from the same problem as other mages. He only has an average fighting ability and in hand to hand could be easily torn apart by skilled fighters. Another factor that has contributed to his defeat was running out of magic. Without any magic charged in his body, Relampago loses all his powers making him no different than the average person.
History:
"...And if I die... I'll die knowing that I was free..."
Much of Valandil Séregon past is still clouded in mystery. He was born a few years before the great war between the Empire and Aldmeri Dominion. Valandil was never a supporter of his people, but knew that he secretly had to hide his hate for them due to the fear of execution. He saw them as nothing, but a bunch of racists and conquerors. Valandil had a much different views than his people. He believed that so long as a man's actions does not harm anyone else, that they should be free to do as they please. The Thalmor only had one interest in mind though. That was the unification of the all of Tamriel with the Thalmor holding all power.
Through out his youth, Valandil studied in the arts of magic. Like all other Altmer, he was very gifted at tapping into magic. He would practice for hours on end trying to perfect his spells. It wasn't long before he was top of the class in his teen years. By this time, the war between the Aldmeri Dominion and the Empire had ended due to the truce signing. A few years after his graduation, Valandil's talents gained the attention of the government. They wanted him to join the army. In the land he lived in, saying no wasn't an option. Valandil refused to sell his soul to a cause he didn't believe in. After all, the war with the Empire only started because his country was looking to conquer it. He wanted no part in it.
Less than a day after his refusal, Valandil was arrested on the charges of treason against his people. At the court hearing, he was finally able to reveal his true feelings for his homeland.
"I will never join your cause. You people are nothing, but racists, snobs, conquerors, and militaristic swine. Freedom is the right to every man. And I would rather die a free man then spend my long life dedicated to something I will never believe in. And if I die, I'll die knowing that I was free."
He made his statement to the court. Valandil wanted to die. The court quickly made their decision right on the spot without any deliberation. Valandil was expecting an execution on the same day, but it wasn't to come true. He would be sentenced to a life time of imprisonment or until the day he decided he would join them in their conquest of all of Tamriel. To them, Valandil was too good of a resource to lose. He was thrown into prison to be forgotten until he came around. Little did they know, that day would never come. Valandil spent years in his cell alone. He had only two options. Stay in his cell or fight for a cause he didn't believe in. He wouldn't pick either of these.
It had taken him years in his cell to gather the magic required to perform this action. He had studied it, read it, and understood the concept of how the spell work, but he had never done it before. It was the teleportation spell that the Psijic Order had come up with. It allowed to travel long distances across all of Tamrial. Problem was that he needed to know where he was going. He couldn't just teleport somewhere onto Summerset Isle. The Thalmor would just find him and bring him back to his cell. Valandil would need to teleport himself far away. His planned location was Cyrodiil. He had never been there before so there was a good chance he'd die after teleporting. For all he knew, Valandil could of landed himself in a live volcano or a Troll's cave.
He had his options die in a cell or take his chances with teleporting. He made his choice. Valandil teleported himself out of his cell and out to freedom. It only took several moments to reach his destination. He landed in a beautiful lush forest. He didn't know exactly where he was though. He was wandering around in circles trying to get his bearings and then it happened. He was surrounded by many troops of Empire troops. They immediatly told him to surrender. Valandil at was too weakened at the time from using his teleportation spell to fight so he surrendered. He escaped the thalmor only to be captured by the Empire.
They put him binds and loaded him up with a bunch of other prisoners that had been captured. Valandil had no idea what was going on or where they were going. Little did he know, it would be the beginning of his long quest to save the land of Skyrim.
"I was the one they feared... In their tounge I am Dovahkiin... Dragonborn."
Valandil was captured on the charges of trying to illegally cross over the borders into Skyrim. While on a carriage he met a Nord man named Ralof and the Jarl of Winterhold, Ulfric Stormcloak. He soon discovered that he had been pulled into a conflict between the Empire and an army of rebels in Skyrim called the Stormcloaks. The Stormcloaks wanted to break away from the Empire for making peace with the Thalmor. The Empire wanted to stop Skyrim from declaring independence from Skyrim knowing that this wouldn't weaken them both for the Thalmor.
The carriage made it into the town of Helgen where they were all to be executed, guilty or not. Just as Valandil was about to be beheaded, a miracle in the form of disaster struck. A dragon interrupted the execution and began to attack the town. They hadn't been seen in centuries, but now they had returned. Together with Ralof, they both escaped Helgen. It was at this point they decided to split up, but before they did, Ralof had a request. To warn the Jarl of Whiterun about the dragon attack to prepare a defense.
Valandil kept his word and went to Whiterun to warn the Jarl about the coming danger. By the time the warning came, another dragon was seen a few miles outside the city walls. With his powers returned, Valandil decided to go with the soldiers in fending off the dragon. Having a mage with them would be a great asset. They all rode out to where the dragon was spotted, but saw nothing. It looked as though it had left, but then they all heard a roar in the distance. It flew at them and the battle began. After a long and hard battle, Valandil managed to subdue the dragon by engulfing it in lightning.
As they approached the dead beast, something began to happen. The dragon's flesh began to melt away as it's soul was absorbed into Valandil. The soldiers stood in awe and one of called him, Dragonborn. The Dragonborn were those who could absorb the souls of dragons to use their powers, language, and increase their strength. They asked him to test if it was true. At this point he instinctively shouted in their language "Fus." A thunderous roar came from his mouth that echoed all through out the valley. After centuries, the dragons and the Dragoborn had returned. The troops asked Valandil to tell the Jarl what had happend while they buried their dead.
On the way back the castle, a loud shout could be heard from High Hrothgar on the slopes of Skyrim's highest mountain, The Throat of the World. It was loud enough for all of Skyrim to hear. When he returned to tell the Jarl of what had happened, he realized they were calling Valandil. He told him that he would need to go to High Hrothgar where the Greybeards would be waiting for him. They would instruct him on how to use the power of the dragons. With that Valandil left Whiterun to start his journey to seek out the Greybeards.
Everything was starting to happen so suddenly. He couldn't believe that in a few short days that he had gone from prisoner, to an escapee, to a prisoner again, then a freeman, and finally a legend reborn. He didn't need to seek out the Greybeards, but he read enough books on the dragons to know that their return would mean the end of the world. He couldn't just sit by and do nothing while the world burned. Then there was that civil war going on. It wasn't Valandil's place to get involved in it. Either way it ended it would leave both sides in a weakened state. Perfect picking for the Thalmor to take advantage of. If there was to be any world to live in. All sides would need to put aside all their differences and stop the dragons.
After a week of traveling, Valandil finally made it to High Hrothgar. It was there he found the large castle where the Greybeards remained at. Upon entering he was met by the Greybeard named Arngeir. He explained that they were an order of monks who lived in seclusion to study the Way of the Voice. For the next few weeks, Valandil spent his time training with them and honing his new powers. He was learning in weeks what normally took others years to learn. There was no doubt that he was the Dragonborn. For his final trial, the Greybeards sent him to retrieve the legendary Horn of Jurgen Windcaller. It was located deep in a lost dungeon.
After fighting his way through the undead, Valandil finally reached the chest that it was held in. He opened it, expecting to find his prize, but instead was met with a note. Someone knew that he coming for it and already took the horn. In exchange for meeting, he could have the horn. With no other choice, Valandil followed the note to an innkeeper named Delphine. She was one of the last survivors of a group called the Blades, a society dedicated to killing Dragons. She explained that the leader of the dragons, Alduin, was revving the dead dragons of the past to remake his army and take over the world.
Delphine knew of one spot where a dead dragon had been buried. They both ventured off to find the dead dragon. When they arrived, they made it in time to see Alduin reanimate one of his fallen dragons. Valandil engaged the reborn dragon, while Alduin flew off to revive more. After a ferocious battle, Valandil struck the dragon down and absorbed its soul. That sight was enough to prove to Delphine that he was the Dragonborn. They needed to find out who brought the dragons back to begin with. The first suspects were Valandil's own people, the Altmer. He wouldn't it past them. Using the dragons to destroy their enemies while hiding behind their 'peace treaty.' Only thing was they needed proof. With Delphine's help, Valandil managed to infiltrate the Thalmor Embassy in order look for proof of their wicked deeds.
It looked like it would be a wasted trip as they learned the Altmer were just as equally surprised by the return of the dragons. However, he did learn they were looking for a man named Esbern. Delphine explained that Esbern is the only other Blade in Skyrim. It was thought that he was dead, but it looked like he was alive. Valandil needed to find him before the Thalmor did as Esbern was the only one alive who was the Archivist of the Blades. He would know how to stop them. Valandil escaped the embassy and began his hunt to find Esbern
After locating Esbern in the town of Riften, Valandil revealed the dragons return to him and everything that had happened. Esbern explained there was one place where they could stop Alduin and his dragons... the Sky Haven Temple. It would be there that they would find how to stop them. It been centuries since anyone set foot in the temple. Valandil, Delphine, and Esbern ventured off to find it. When they finally reached it, Esbern found a wall where a story was carved into how Alduin could be defeated. It was a shout that Valandil did not know. Valandil suggested asking the Greybeards, but was met with resistance from Delphine. She held some kind of grudge against them, but he had no idea why. It was their only option to stop Alduin though.
Valandil wandered back to the Greybeards and spoke with Arngeir about the events that had transpired. He grew angry to learn that the Dragoborn hand been involved with the Blades. Valandil was starting to see a picture that the Blades and Greybeards held no love for one another. Arngeir did remember his vow to help the Dragonborn and told him to speak with their leader at the very top of the mountain. When he made it to the very top, Valandil learned the truth that the leader of the Greybeards was none other than a dragon. His name was Paarthurnax. He was much different than the other dragons of Skyrim. He was the only one who believed in peace. Paarthurnax explained to Valandil that Alduin was defeated using a special shout created by mortals and that they also used an Elder Scroll to send him far off into the future.
There were just two problems now. Paarthurnax could not teach Valandil the shout required to stop Alduin since it was not made by dragons and that Valandil needed and Elder Scroll to look into the past to learn the words. Luckily Arngeir knew of people who could locate where one the Elder Scrolls were. Valandil would have to journey to the College of Winterhold. There were a group of powerful mages there who studied in the arts of magic. Valandil made his way north to find them. When he reached it, the place was blanketed in constant snowfall. A cold place to have a town or a college at.
After gaining entrance, Valandil was able to fit in quite nicely with everyone. It reminded him of when he studied back on Summerset Isle. He spent a few weeks there learning new magic spells while helping with excavations, but he needed to remember his over all goal. Eventually with the help of a librarian at the college, Valandil learned of an Elder Scroll's location deep in the ruins of the Dwarven Empire. Based off old maps, the entire area was huge, but Valandil had no other choice, but to go.
He spent days fighting the old machines of the Dwarves while he looked through their ruins for the Elder Scroll. Eventually he finally found it. His constant battles were beginning to have an affect on him. Valandil was growing stronger. Rather than walk all the way back, he used his teleportation spell to warp back to the Greybeards. It took a great deal of magic to warp that far, but he wasn't totally drained like he was months ago when he first tried it. After a night of rest, Valandil made his way up to see Paarthurnax. The dragon instructed him to open the scroll. He revealed that the spot they stood in was the location of where Alduin was first defeated.
Using the Elder Scroll, Valandil was able to look into the past. He saw the former battle with Alduin where three warriors used the shout to stop the evil dragon. Valandil took the knowledge with him and learned the shout "JOOR ZAH FRUL", the Dragonrend. Upon returning to his time, Alduin had been found them. He engaged Valandil and Paarthurnax in combat. Using the Dragonrend in combination with his magic, Valandil was able to drive Alduin back caused him to retreat back to Sovngarde, the afterlife. If he wanted him permanetly destroyed then he would need to travel there and kill him, but only a dragon could fly him there. Paarthurnax too weak from battle could not take him. He would need to capture a dragon and force it take him there.
There was one place that could capture a dragon was the castle in the town of Whiterun, Dragon's Reach. Before leaving, Paarthurnax taught him how to call a dragon. Each dragon had their own unique shout which was their name. Dragon's being prideful by nature, can hear the shout anywhere and deem it as a challenge that cannot be denied. The name of the dragon he would capture was Odahviing. Valandil met with the Jarl of Whiterun, but he refused to help with the threat of an attack by rebels still looming over him. It was hard to believe, but even with the threat of the Dragon's return, both the Stormcloaks and Empire were still fighting each other. A peace would need to be made if he wanted to go any further.
Valandil called both sides leaders to meet at High Hrothgar to discuss peace negotiations. He wasn't going to let the world end on account of a war. While he couldn't secure a true peace between the two parties, Valandil at least was able to form a ceasefire until the dragon threat was over. This could work out as it would give him enough time to capture the dragon and make his way to Sovngard. Valandil returned to the Jarl and explained the situation. With his borders now secure for the moment, he allowed his castle to be used to capture a dragon. He went out into the courtyard and shouted the dragon's name. OD AH VIING! The thunderous shout rocked the sky and the dragon appeared to face Valandil.
Using the old traps of the castle, he overpowered the beast and managed to capture him alive. After a brief exchange, Odahviing offered an alliance so long as Valandil promised to destroy Alduin. Odahviing revealed that many dragons saw him Alduin was weak now after running from the Dragonborn. With a shaky alliance formed, Odahviing was released and flew Valandil to Sovngarde.
Upon entering Sovngarde, Valandil met with the three warriors who originally fought with Alduin. With nowhere left to run they could destroy him once and for all. Alduin appeared to feed on the souls of the dead to regain his strength, but was met by the Dragonborn and the three warriors that defeated him before. Together they combined their Dragonrend shouts and attacked. With nowhere left to run, Alduin met his fate and finally destroyed. The afterlife praised him as a hero as the teleported him back to the land of the living. Valandil was met by Paarthurnax and other dragons who agreed to follow the Way of the Voice in exchange for being allowed to live. The threat was over, but Valandil still had years more of adventure in him.
"That gaurd over there used to be an adventurer like me, but then he took an arrow to the knee."
Years went by. Valandil had gone on to do incredible things through out all of Skyrim. Stopping the undead, fighting with the deadric lords, and even becoming the Archmage at the College of Winterhold. His name would be written into the legends of Skyrim. He eventually made Winterhold his home. As he grew older, his adventures began to lessen. His life was slowing down, but his need to learn never ended. Eventually, he settled down in Winterhold and had a family. He married a human woman and together they had a half breed son.
It was sad for Valandil though since his life lasted much longer than that of a human. As his wife and son grew older, he did not. Eventually aged claimed them both, but even with them gone life went on. His son and children and his children had children of their own. It was always sad to see them die one after another, but he learned to appreciate the moments infront of him and to cherish past memories. Valandil was unsure of how long his life would last. Elves were always known for their long lasting lives.
Many people in the town who were a descendant stopped calling him Grandpa and started referring to him as Ancestor. It was humorous, but it was sad to know his grandchildren thought of him being that old. Valandil needed a new adventure. He stepped down as the Archmage and began to make plans to leave. In his years he had studied deeper into his teleportation spell and learned that he could also go into other worlds. He was eager to see what other universes had in store for him. There was a chance he would never come back to Skyrim, but at that point in time, his grandchildren could stand up on their own. They no longer needed the old elf around anymore. He opened the portal into the next world and said his last goodbye to Skyrim.
Valandil quickly learned about his new world. It was world called Genesis. From what he could gather over the next couple months, it was world where other universes were merging into one. There was so much opportunity for him to study the world and learn about other universes as well. To him, this planet was a goldmine of information. Eventually on his journeys he ran into a man who called himself Salvador. He was from a planet called Earth who got stuck on Genesis by accident. The two quickly became friends and learned a lot about each other. Salvador could never pronounce Valandil's name right so he started calling him Relampago. It was Spanish for
lightning since Valandil could control storms and lightning. Valandil liked the name. Not only was he in a new world, but he had a new name to boot.
Salvador eventually revealed he had a family back on Earth and that he had lost his first son due to his own actions in the past. He asked Relampago if there was anyway to check on them. He quickly got to work on formulating a spell in order to check on his friend's family. What he saw next broke the man's heart. His family was killed. He was grief stricken, but something else was revealed, Salvador's first born son, Tony Romano, was alive and hunting down the man responsible. He was happy and sad at the same time, but he felt a great guilt that his son was now on the same road that he once walked. Relampago was able to push the spell to its limits and revealed that at some point, Tony would reach Genesis, but when, he didn't know.
Eventually that day did come. Relampago found Tony barely alive and was barely able to revive his health in time before death claimed him. A week later he told the young man of his father's fate and gave him suit of power armor that him and his father created. He offered Tony his home whenever he needed it, but the boy was fixated on finding his father. Relampago wished him luck on his journey and told him the last place he heard Salvador was at. He was confident that the father and son would be reunited one day. "Good luck... Cazador... The two began to walk off in separate, but their paths would cross again someday.

History:
Prologue
Epilouge
