Personality: Nothing like the Maya you knew. This one is kind and gentle except when she needs to feed, then the remnants of her past self comes shinning through as she takes pleasure in the kill but once broken out of that state Maya is guilt-stricken by the life she's taken. The faces she remembers killing haunt her. A monster with a soul.
Special Abilities: After death much of Maya special abilities were sealed away within her. Only the most basic of vampire abilities remain rendering her no stronger than a new-born fledgling. Her abilities include:

History: In November of 2009AD, during the great war between the human and demon worlds, Maya was conceived through the reproduction process between a science experiment named Ranka and a vampire seductress called Maricul. Her birth was neither planned nor expected but Maricul chose not to abort the fetus and on the summer of 2010, when the war has finally came to a close, the vampire child was born and named Maya. As a young child she would be infected with a series of horrible nightmares in an attempt to toughen up her mind, body and soul. During her teenage years Maya would be taught how to fight, how to successfully use her vampire abilities by her father and her Witch Within abilities which she inherited genetically by her mother on top of the vampire ones through both parents. By 2028AD a new war between the human and demon world would begin and a certain young adult would choose to fight for the forces of evil and see humanity fall to it's knees.
Using everything Ranka and Maricul taught her Maya quickly became one of the strongest agents the demon world had to offer and the craziest. Because of the pleasure she took in each and every kill, regardless of who or what she was killing, Maya quickly became known as "The Joy" in both the human and demon world. A warrior to be feared when her upbeat songs could be heard in the distance. But due to the reputation that both Ranka and Maricul received even in the demon world she was constantly dragged into their shadow. She wanted her own identity but no matter what she did Maya could never escape the legacies of her parents so instead she would reach a compromise with herself. Using the abilities she had already Maya would mimic her father Ranka, her mother Maricul, a former friend of the family, that later went insane, named as Amoura and the No Life King himself, Alucard. Fusing the trademarks of the four warriors together in combat Maya grew even further through the ranks and was seen as a successor to the throne in hell. This did not bold well for her superior who wanted to ascend the throne of the demon world.
In 2031AD a great tower rose out of the ground from the ruins of the Temen-ni-gru, destroyed 21 years ago during the first great war of the fates, and with it was a great evil that began to infect the world with pure hatred. Human and devil alike submitted to it and began allowing the evil to dictate their actions except those strong enough to fight against it. Maya was one of the few. Ark Lam was another. Ark Lam was a devil that wanted to sit on the same throne as the Prince of Darkness and "The Joy" remained his only obstacle. Thinking an up-front battle out of the question he planned to have Maya travel dimensions to a world called Genesis making his subordinates believe it was the only way to stop the force coming from the tower and that Maya was the perfect agent for the job. Believing that it would be an enjoyable experience Maya accepted and journeyed to Genesis where she would come across the "Legendary Dark Knight" Sparda and other people from her past. Mainly Amoura and her sister Sazan. But in the bitter end it was a shark named Clash that dealt the final blow which led to her demise and Ark Lam couldn't have been happier.
Yet little did he know death would not claim her.
Through death Maya would be reborn anew and given a second chance at life. Her memories and more advanced powers locked away as she now wanders through Genesis with the desire to do good but the temptation of evil still in the back of her mind. One question remained.
