Nsia had seen it so many times, it’s black tip obscured by roiling clouds, its inner core glowing blue and lighting the depth of darkness around it, the spire. She saw it whenever she passed through the spirit realm from time to time. She even saw it on a few other occasions she went to the demon realm. She wasn’t particularly fond of going through the spirit realm to get to places, but it was the quickest and safest way. It seemed her human blood made her skittish, and most of the beings in the realm of Demon’s or even Meikai appeared to sense that blood and often would stalk her through it. She knew she could handle herself if some hungry pit demon decided to try and devour her, but again that irrational side to her, thanks to her father, made her careful, tactful, and the slightest bit fearful. It shamed her though to admit it, and her way to punish those feelings and hopefully destroy them all together was gained, so she thought, through the trials she pushed herself into. So in the spirit realm the worst she had to deal with where the Mononoke who enjoyed harassing her on her way through it.
The jagged spire of black loomed there in that realm however much closer to her entry point than any other realm she would enter and it called to her, like the mountains to a traveler. She had exhausted all leads on the world she was on in her personal quest and it was time to move on.
The portal appeared like a ripple in the air by the jagged rocks at the edge of the tower, as if some invisible fires heat distorted the air there, someone emerged from it lightly stepping through, and after a small flash of light the ripple disappeared illuminating in a better light a small figure, a black cloak obscuring the girls head and features seeing as the cloaks hood was up around the girls head. She was dressed in a mat black little dress, it wouldn’t be as understated had it any hint of colour, but because of the somewhat drab constant black the frills, bows and puffiness it had was under played. The girl stood silently looking out onto the expanse of ground and rock that was Genesis.
