Dead on Arrival presents...
A ToriJ production...
ToriJ got up at the sound of knocking on his door. His hand wrapped around the knob and turned it gently as he pulled it open to see a UPS delivery man on the other side with a box and cliff board in hand.
“I have a delivery here for a ToriJ?”
“I'm ToriJ.”
“Sign here please.”
ToriJ took the man's pen and signed his name on the dotted line before taking the box into his hands and backing up into the living room.
“Thank you. Have a nice day.”
The delivery man went on his way and ToriJ shut his door with his right leg. Wondering what this could be, he walked into the kitchen and turned on the light before setting it down on the kitchen table. Taking a knife he cut through the tape on the box's lid and opened it, picking up what looked to be a case to some kind of video game. Eyes widened in look of absolute horror as he threw the game upward into the air and fell back, crashing against the cold hard kitchen floor with the back of his head hitting the ice box as the game box fell a couple of feet away from his position. Next to a pair of bloodied feet.
A puddle of blood dripped across the cold kitchen floor as slowly ToriJ's eyes moved up the pale legs near his position. The dry blood reaching up near the top of the feet before stopping a couple of inches away from the ankles. A red dress clothed the mysterious figure who appeared to be female as long raven-black hair touched her shoulders, framing her face. ToriJ's heart began to pound harder, and harder, and harder as he made eye-contact with the source of his own nightmares.
Alma Wade
ToriJ wanted nothing more than to run, to run as far away from here as he possibly could. But he was frozen; paralyzed in fear as the child bent down and picked up the case that was tossed away as a result of ToriJ's own past traumatic experiences. No words came from the child, just a haunting gaze from pitch black eyes that appeared like that of an abyss as step by step, she approached him. Holding the case in her hand, pointed at where ToriJ laid on the ground.
“Please... Please don't make me. I-I'll do anything. Anything you ask. Just please! Please, for the love of God don't make me sit through that again! Not again!”
But there would be no reasoning with the child as she now stood over him. That haunting gaze burning its way into Tori's mind and engraving a permanent mark upon his skull damning him for all time. Presenting to him the catalyst in which his mind, body and soul would become undone. Forever lost to the child's unyielding, and unforgiving wrath upon mankind.

You're actually going to sit down in front of the game long enough to make a review out of it?
Please let it be a YouTube video.

Probably one of my favourite games ever - a very smart and interesting horror game.
When you do get through it, I suggest you give F.E.A.R. 2 a shot as well; I'd say it's one of the better sequels I've experienced, and pretty much every element from the first installment are either enhanced or kept in the flavour of the first one.
Do yourself a favour and never lay your eyes on number 3 though; it is an abobination of a game.

No I mean it's BAD. Like awful, boring, and frankly insulting to the series. It should be retconned and F.E.A.R. 3 remade into an entirely different game.

Tori got a pretty good deal on this game. $9.99 off of eBay with free shipping and handling. Scheduled to arrive some times between the 9th and 13th. I'm a bit miffed he got the 360 port as I feel the game is much better on the PC but his choice. Keep in mind that apart from Alma Tori knows very little about the game and the story so the review is likely going to read like something you'd expect to see when the game first came out. He already has plans to review all three games, how far and in-between depends solely on the money he can spare. I already recommended he buy the first two games and simply rent the third one.
