Had you asked without the images I would have said Eos, but that Aper face. It gets my vote.
I want all 3 masks for Halloween though.

At first I was drawn to Veran, until I realised it isn't the mask that was catching my interest - it's that abyss behind it.
I say Eos. I don't wanna be anywhere near when those eyes open...

At first I was drawn to Veran, until I realised it isn't the mask that was catching my interest - it's that abyss behind it. I say Eos. I don't wanna be anywhere near when those eyes open... That's something I've noticed about Veran too after posting this actually. The look of it isn't inextricably terrifying, but it's that fear of the darkness that lies behind it that has given so much character to that Arashi. Also a weird thing I've noticed, and perhaps done rather unwillingly but looks cool anyhow, is how the Arashi progressively look more and more human with each rendition. Veran is quite obviously a skull, while Aper is relatively disfigured and Eos appears the closest to a person's actual face. Interesting considering she is regarded as being the most frightening! |
