I gotta ask, why now?
Why not three months ago?
Why not six months ago or eight? Why is it every time Guill creates any serious development in this plot people suddenly turn around, start caring and wants nothing to do with it? I can see who voted and make a very good educated guess who all voted for what and I have to say, I'm surprised at who all voted for rebuild. Because I know on an average day you'd be agreeing with the majority of the people who actually posted in the topic so what's the problem? Either it's something serious and you're afraid to say it, or it's selfish reasoning and you're too ashamed to admit to it, that much is clear by the fact you've all chosen to remain silent. It can't be that you're all afraid Guill will get the site in trouble with a ToS violation again, otherwise you would have simply said it. So what's the issue? Why are so many of you voting this way and choosing to remain silent?

If it stays destroyed, it stays destroyed. I'm not going to cry about it.
That said, if it's at all possible to spare Aircano in this plot I would be eternally grateful. Again, not going to be upset if it does end up destroyed it's just you were gone for quite some time, a lot of us for a while had no idea when you were coming back or if the plot was going to continue (Zenith was archived twice after all) and I might have kinda, sorta, maybe already made future plans that blowing up the city would compromise...
You can yell at me later.

And don't even think about doing anything realistic like replacing it with another. That would just be silly.

I like Jherra. I think there are still plenty we can do with the locations there and I don't think any of them should be destroyed permanently. We can build around the destruction if necessary. Superstition didn't stop the people of Aircano from rebuilding their city in the Crystal Expanse after it was destroyed why would it stop people now? We can make it a storyarc this time if you prefer. With people arguing whether or not they dare rebuild what the End brought to ruin. I can't speak for everyone else who voted rebuild but I quite like the world we created and just because we have a continent to add in new locations doesn't mean we should blow the first one up. And before anyone else here feels like biting our heads off let me disclose a piece of information that may interest you.
ToriJ doesn't want you to blow up any part of Jherra either.

So this actually erupted from an argument between me and Ayen I'm taking this quote out of context because it emphasizes the point I'm about to make. After all this time the two of you are still arguing over this subject. The two of you along with Ginny should have been correlating together from the beginning of this plot. Ayen as a silent partner because this is, and always will be his site and at the end of the day he has final say on everything. The reason there is so much division on this issue is because you guys are divided on what you want to do. On the one hand you have Gui, and I'll assume Ginny, who wants certain areas to remain destroyed for plot purposes. And on the other you have Ayen who wants everything restored after the plot. Thus you have the two sides of the debate going on now. If you guys want to resolve this issue then you need to get on the same page. |

How are you not getting that this has been this forum's problem? Not wanting to part with any boards if something happens where a city couldn't just be repaired in the blink of an eye. There has been hardly any posts in areas such as Jherrazad or Aircano. Tajna has already said he's not completely wiping out popular areas like Isafaro and Hallowton. Why is this still an issue? |

I think you guys have missed the point. These areas are never destroyed, because they continue to exist plot after plot after plot. It's actually quite ridiculous how much these places are left standing at all, nevermind in perfect condition by the time another attack comes their way. And I'd very much like to point out there is an entire continent designed for the sole sake of story and exploration. And I'd like to point out the amount of time that has passed since Zenith has been created and how long we have been waiting for you to actually finish this thing. Maybe if you had wrapped this up nine months ago this wouldn't be an issue, but no. You guys have been on hiatus and the staff didn't even know what was going on with the plot in your absence. Zenith was archived by the staff twice already. Any other forum would have buried this plot a long time ago because of this. There is only so long people can wait for any plot, we waited and when it looked like it wasn't going to come back any time soon we made plans. Then you came back. Ayen said that the areas will be restored which is why (@dc) we're voting the way we are and have been quiet as we assumed, by word of the admin, that we would still have these areas so we didn't say anything. I don't know when Ayen and Tajna got on the same page here but it was obviously fairly recently and after the sticky talking about what was going to happen with places after the Arashi and Netherrealm plot was over. Maybe if the staff knew what was going on with the actual main plot of the site this wouldn't be an issue. So don't yell at us because we're voting the way we are. |

I didn't want Hallowton to be destroyed again. I already had to deal with two cases of it since becoming Queen giving me no time to settle in with the role. That's why I voted for rebuild. If this is not the case then I retract my vote. I had voiced these concerns before and was told it wasn't likely to happen but this poll, and Ayen admitting that even he wasn't sure what would transpire once the End showed up, reignited the concern. I apologize for the late reply.

To clarify some things.
Some members of the staff *cough* Ayen *cough* has known exactly where this plot has been going since last winter. Obviously if I made plans to bring something like the End into play, I'd ask his permission first. He said go for it because Ayen trust that I am no idiot when it comes to a.) destroying things b.) making it relevant and good. Now the specifics of what gets a visit from the End are still in the works, because as with all things RP... they are things that we will know when they happen XD
This was a matter of getting member input, because you guys do matter - and neither him nor I want to put you in a bad roleplaying environment. That would be counterproductive to what he's tried to achieve with the site.
