Amongst the decaying land of Jund a young man stealthily traversed beyond the lines of defenses and was searching for something, in his previous search through hell he had stumbled upon a notebook written by his father that turned up something interesting. And now, Anthony was here looking for that certain something, finally finding it, the body of his father sealed inside a clear crystal.
Red lines inside the crystal connected to Dante and seemed to be draining his father of something. In one false swoop Anthony pulled his sword and began striking at the crystal but to no avail. It was soon that a creature, a wraith attacked, Anthony became defenseless in no time as he was lifted his energy being drained. But as it was leaving his body, an odd thing was happening...
It was transitioning into the crystal, and into Dante. The wraith, got nothing, dropping him and leaving Anthony with a fatal wound as it dissipated running in what one would think was fear as it began to feel a power like no other awakening.
Soon, all of Anthony's aura and demonic energy transitioned into the crystal and it began to crack. But the wound didn't heal up and soon Tony's essence was being drawn into the crystal before it shattered and Dante awoke.
At first, Dante was in a haze of confusion before finally seeing his son laying on the ground and his essence leaking out. He ran up to Tony and helped him sit up. "Long time no see..." Tony got out weakly as his life was fading away. Dante tried to get him to stay silent but Tony shook his head. "Not much time left... Something that's... like you has completely destroyed the human world. Everything has gone to hell." He chocked a bit before handing Dante a box. "Had them made just for you. Exactly like your old ones, Irvine did it for you when he found out." With one last cough he looked up at his father. "Also... I kind of broke your sword... don't be mad. Just take mine."
The devil hunter stood silent he was never good at goodbyes. Instead, he watched helplessly as his son's life slowly slipped from his body. Dante's heart began sinking into a pit giving way to his anger a powerful roar of frustration releasing from the Son of Sparda as he knelt there, clutching his son's quickly ashing corpse.

Though miles apart from one another, both father and son shot up out their beds drenched in a cold sweat. They had both just had the same dream... the same nightmare. For tony it was the feeling of dying and never being able to see his father again. For Dante it was the feeling of watching his son die and fade away, being claimed by the jaws of hell like every other victim. Both of them were looking out of their windows, Dante in a ran down motel in Kari, and Tony in his apartment in Hallowtown... it was a clear night, not a cloud in the sky and the moon was big and full as it hung in the sky. But despite it's beauty, it held a reflection of darker times to come... darker times that they would both be useless against if they didn't do something... their vision both transfered over to the Downward Spiral. They both felt the tug, something calling to them... someone calling to them...

He sighed... Anthony had just sired someone, but he knew if wanted power he wouldn't be able to bring her along. Not where he was being pulled... His head dropped before he began shaking it. This was going to suck for her... but this was the only way. Mel, I'm going to be away for a while. This is gonna suck but bare with it.
His fledgling would suddenly get a bad headache before suddenly having knowledge of every technique he had ever learned, every ability, how to control her healing, her regeneration, her familiars whenever she got them... everything Tony knew as far as combat was concerned she knew. Years of training now in her mind, in her muscles and bones, in her blood and soul... now he was ready to go...
He suited up, a black button up T-shirt, black. Tan baggy pants and boots. A custom made holster held both his firearms to his ribs and his mamaoth sword, the Rebellion, on his back. The Espada patiencely waiting to be called by him as he left the apartment and started heading south, out of the city.

Dante didn't take much time, at first he wasn't going to go... but something told him to and kept pulling at him until finally he gave in. It didn't take much for him to get ready, he slipped his boots on followed his his hoist and trade mark red coat. Force Edge snapped into place and Ebony and Ivory were already at their rightful place, it had cost him a damn fortune to get those things repaired... luckily he had run into an Irvine Kinneas from another dimension, one that told him about his son, giving Dante hope that he was still alive and well and that he'd see him again.
All suited up and rearing to go, Dante headed out, paying his tab at the main lobby before heading to the Downward Spiral. He was about to go straight in until something stopped him, maybe a sixth sense or something but something just bit at him that if he went in now he'd regret it. So, Dante being Dante found a nice perch to set up on and lounged, waiting for whatever it was he was supposed to wait for.

Getting to Kari took forever, it was almost six in the morning before the convo finally arrived in the center of town. From there it was a fourty-five minute walk to get to where the Downward Spirial was located... The hardest part was getting a ride to Kari but he managed to confense a few military personel from those new guys in town that he was part of a priliminary defense force should that demon invasion pass Aircano. There it was, The Downward Spiral... and it was huge, almost intemidating... he pushed the thought out of his mind, empting it as he pushed forward before he stopped dead in his tracks, his entire mental attitued destroyed in that single moment... his jaw slacked. The person perched before him a few feet, was his father.
Dante had looked up and wasn't too much in a position to say much either, it was like he had seen a ghost. He pushed himself and quickly began walking up to Tony as his son started advancing towards him... They stared one another down for a moment before taking each other's hand in a brotherly guesture as they pulled each other into a shoulder bump. Did you expect them to hug and stuff? Nope, not in their family. They released one another before finally speaking. "You're taller than what I remember." Dante joked putting his hand in a horizontal position near his solarplexus.
Tony didn't wait to retort, "You're bigger than what I remember." at his remark he motioned his hands near his abs acting like he had a gut. The two shared a laugh before a wind howled around them and they both looked up towards the spire. "You too huh?" Dante simply nodded, "Yeah... Let's go." A return nod was all the father got as they both entered the great glowing casm that represented the door.
For a moment there was a heavy, blinding light before it subsided and they were in a large open world, almost like what Eden looked like before Mundus had broken down the walls and took over the human world. The pair looked at one another oddly, giving one another shrugs. This wasn't what they were expecting at all...
But one thing was certain, they could both feel it in every peice, every fiber of existance that made this reality. They could feel it... well... her...
