Tori was at the front of the deck looking out to the horizon where nothing but red skies reigned for miles. First the demon army managed to conquer her home and force them to Jherrazad. Then the people in Jherrazad turned on them forcing them to leave via this ship to watch the city, and Jherra's god, be destroyed in the chaos. Tori took out a picture of her with her friends, Kara included of course, all smiling without a care in the world. Those times were so simple back then. No Arashi, no demon army, no anything. Just them all together in peace and laughter. And there was a chance they may never see any of that again.
“Kara...”
A tear dropped down on the picture before the redhead wiped it off with her index finger and placed it back inside her pocket.
“How many times must they take you from me?”

"As many as they get the chance to, unfortunately."
Diabolus was gone, and in Demetrios' right hand was his imposing helmet. Clutched in his left, a prize of sorts, was the potent magical amulet Quan Chi had been wearing. Silver hair ruffled in the sea breeze, eyes burning with azure flame that cast a glow across his pallid skin, the Ajerian stood himself next to Tori, looking back at Jherrazad - or what was left of it.
In preparation for this eventuality, he had scattered magus seals throughout the desert city, all bound with the same devastating explosion spell. Covering their retreat to the ships, he had triggered the seals all at once and engulfed the whole place in explosions that tore down colossal buildings, burned sand into glass, and blasted apart countless hundreds of Ranko's soldiers. Within minutes, the entire city of Jherrazad, once such a proud sight, was utterly razed by the power of the Dread Seraph.
"All we can do now is regroup, form a plan and avenge our fallen."

[Maelys] [Unarmored form]
He had since transformed to his Unarmored form, his basic form used when not in combat, and had been leaning on the railing of the deck near the helm. Just past the top of the stairs to the left of the helm, to be exact. His eyes had been closed ever since he leaned on the rail, not opening them since, and due to how still he had been, one might think him asleep. He glanced over to the lower deck, gazing over the somewhat large number of survivors that made it to the boat. Most of the soldiers had gone down to rest up from the battle, a moment's reprieve from the battle of the world against the underworld.
After closing his eyes again, they flew open immediately. They're both here..... Indeed... she probably sensed your desperation. Him... probably here to collect more energy and all that yadda yadda yadda... you might be able to use him this time, seeing as we're in his home field... It is likely that he'll see merit in joining you... after all, this is two large armies clashing together... You're right... but for now, all four of them are out there, seperated... guess I need to bring them together...

Utena was doing her best to help service the refugees and wherever else on the ship she could be of help. She was also trying to comfort her friends, among them being the Moon Valley refugee June who was mourning the second lost of Kara with the rest of the people from Moon Valley and those who knew her. Utena came up from the lower deck and offered a kind smile to Maelys before going over to where Tori and Demetrios stood looking back on the destroyed Jherrazad. Standing to the side of Tori opposite of where Demetrio's stood and resting a hand on Tori's shoulder. "She was my friend too," said Utena. Her way of saying she understood how Tori felt and was here for her if she needed it.

“Regroup where?”
How long could they continue to pull back until they had nowhere left to go? Tori was beginning to lose hope and she wasn't the only one that boat from Moon Valley who felt the same. She felt the hand of Utena touch her shoulder and turned her head to look into the eyes of the woman who looked so much like her.
"She was my friend too."
“Thank you.”

“Regroup where?”"Here."Jeho approached the group and held up a brand new map of Jherra that was made after the Crystal Expanse was melted and Kari was rebuilt. Pointing to a part of water that slides right into the city where they could easily dock. "We'll be able to join with the Kari troops and make our stand. Isafaro is the fastest way to Kari but we'll have to deal with their navy. Going the other way around would be easier but may lose us time to prepare compare to if we took the shorter route. If Kari falls the Netherrealm will have access to the Downward Spiral and that is something we simply cannot allow to happen."

Miracle remained in the lower decks with the refugees and the soldiers. She and the Aircano soldiers, along with her new personal bodyguard Jehanne, sat in the corner away from the others. A white towel over Miracle's body as she rocked lightly back and forth. Tears still falling from her face as she thought about Solomon. His voice. The expression on his face when Aper's blade came down to cleave him in two. His warnings and her last words ever to him. Oh why did she have to summon the Arashi? Why didn't she listen to Solomon's warnings?
"Never again."
Said Miracle, voice barely above that of a whisper.
"I'll never use the Arashi's power again."

The Blind Assassin was still behind the wheel steering the ship as they got away from Jherrazad. Once they were in the cleared Fukari allowed someone else on board to take the wheel before approaching the others who were gathered on the opposite side of the ship watching the destruction from afar. She herself couldn't see it but the sound of explosions and smell of smoke was enough to get her blood pumping. She'd make them pay for taking her home away. One way or another.
"This ship isn't equipped to take on the Isafaro Navy. I can navigate through ship fire but you all will be taking the worse of it if you don't want this ship to sink. Unless one of you have a trick or two up your sleeve that'll make us go unseen I suggest going by the unmarked island on that map to shield ourselves from the demons in Moon Valley and stop at Hallowton. We can move to Kari on foot from there."

Sailor V took the wheel after Fukari stepped down to go talk with the others. A compass in her left hand while she steered with the right. For once the Soldier of Truth and Justice wasn't saying a whole lot. They had already failed to save two separate cities from the demon army's assault and she was feeling more and more insecure by the day. Artemis was down in the lower decks staying in the room Minako now occupied with a few other refugees and Utena and Aminee. It angered her, frustrated her but there was nothing she could do but steer.

Aminee had been attempting to comfort the other survivors on the ship who wasn't as battle stricken as most of the others through songs she wrote a long time ago. She could tell it didn't help any but they were appreciative nonetheless. At the end of her singing Aminee decided to up to the upper deck and while everyone else was gathering around Tori Aminee went over to the steering wheel where Sailor V was to greet her. "Hey. How are you holding up?"

"Anyone care to fill me in?" Spoke Kyrie as she approached the others at the end of the ship looking out to the ruins of the Empire of Jherrazad. An expression clearly indicating to any who looked at it that she didn't have any clue what was going on around here. Isafaro, Kari, the Netherrealm. The only nation she has been to before arriving at Jherrazad was Aircano and that went about just as well. No buildings were destroyed or anything but it certainly wasn't a pleasant experience. Except for the bit where she ran into her god in the flesh but more on that later.
"Because I'm lost."

The Hellcycle of the Ghost Rider roared across the water. The normally fierce flames that burned in his heart and across his entire skeletal body were low and merely a dull ember compared to their usual ferocity. The imposing jacket he wore was shredded in numerous places. His entire left arm was missing, and a trailing stream of Hellfire spewed from the torn sleeve. Already the limb was regenerating and would be whole within a mere few minutes, but it was most unfortunate, and a testament to what he had been through.
He was heading straight for the ship he could now see. It had taken everything he had, but Johnny Blaze had managed to win and convince the Rider to flee for now. Losing an arm and things beginning to explode hadn't hurt his argument, but the Rider was vehement that this was not going to be the way things ended.
His arm neared wholeness just as he spun the Hellcycle about, launching himself from the h ellspawned vehicle, which faded into nothing as it always did when not in use. He soared through the air for a handful of seconds, before he was washed in a gentle cocoon of Hellfire and Johnny Blaze landed on the deck of the ship, rolling twice before coming up sitting against the railing. "Sorry....for the unnecessarily dramatic entrance." That was all he had to say. Or rather all he had the strength to say; arguing with the Rider was an exhaustive task.

Jehanne walked over to the High Priestess and gave her a cup of water before sitting down next to her and placing a hand over her. The knight in training was grieving the lost of Solomon every bit as hard as the High Priestess herself and now she worried for Aircano as they didn't have the time to regroup there and there was nowhere to dock to travel there on foot before the demon army made it through the desert. Hearing Miracle Jehanne looked over to the child with a frown.
"It's not your fault. You shouldn't blame yourself."

“Is there no way to contact Kari and get them to send in their ships to intercept Vulture's?”
"Anyone care to fill me in? Because I'm lost."
“It's a long story.”
Tori looked up to the sky and saw an unfamiliar figure coming down on a motorcycle before the motorcycle disappeared and hellfire spun around the person in the air before it dispersed and the man landed on the deck near them.
"Sorry....for the unnecessarily dramatic entrance."
“W-what the hell!?”

Utena didn't do or say much after comforting Tori. The only cities in this place she knew anything about was Moon Valley and Jherrazad and now both were under demon control with the latter of which lying in ruins. She hated how useless she felt during this whole ordeal. While the challenges back in Ohtori was anything except easy the challenges here made them pale in comparison but that wasn't an excuse. The former Champion made a vow to herself then and there she wasn't going to be useless anymore. As Johnny Blaze attracted everyone's attention with his dramatic entrance Utena's hand brushed across the hilt of her Rapier ready to draw if necessary.
