______________________________________________________ Kira took a depth breath as he closed his eyes as he sat in the middle of the floor of his room. No training tonight and no missions from the Resistance either. Trying to work on any of the problems he had numerous files for would only serve to leave him frustrated, but thanks to Kissira that was less true now. Now it was easy to reach out and let the Force wash over him, to calm him down and give him a level mind to continue working. Still he’d put the extra time to good use. He knew the toll his training sessions with Kissira, not just pyshcialy, but more important mentally. He was straining himself and he knew it, but he had no choice. He had no idea how long she would be willing to teach. However there was also a slight chance she could find a way to return to her realm. Then what? He needed to learn as much as he could in case of that. His earlier encounter with Ira had made him realize it would be impossible to keep up with his own skills, and yet even here there were people he wanted to protect, people he wanted to defend. Kira allowed himself to get lost in his thoughts losing track of time, but for him mere seconds had passed. He let that feeling wash over him just clearing his head. That helped every once in a while. For a while he just let it wash over him not focusing on any one thing in particular. Letting the feeling wash over him slowly letting himself almost be pulled in guided by it almost. Another hour passed before something was wrong. He opened his eyes, but he couldn’t see anything, just black. He frowned a little standing up. What was this? A few seconds later that was when he started to see shapes emerge. Nothing too fancy. Cylnider’s and boxes. Nothing too outstanding until they began to began to take shape. His eyes widened slightly as his disbelief spilled from him. Why this place? Why was he here? Kira however caught himself as his eyes softened. He knew all too well what this place was. And that was why he couldn't think of it the same way. The fences around the area, the computer screens. He slowly shook his head, he sadly knew only too well what this place was, and it made him wish it had never existed. Kira slowly began to walk. Old memories swirling within him and he couldn't explain why. ”This is mankind's dream, mankind's desire, mankind's destiny! To be the strongest, to go the farthest, to climb the highest!” he stopped at the cage which still had the blood stains from those fallen on it. The twisted training that had gone on here in an attempt to compet with the Coordinators. ”To compete, to envy, to hate each other, and to devour one another!" Kira paused. Extended. Thats what they were called. Blue Cosmos' twisted answer to how to fight back. You take the children and enhance their abilities and then as a twisted kick only the best would make it out alive. The rest would die down here killed by those trying to survive. ”You see... I am the product of all of this, that's how I know!” Kira felt called to push on. He couldn't explain it. Just that staying here wasn't what he wanted to do. Even now, those words Rau Le Creuset echoed in his mind. A lot of what he had said had stuck. Kira felt sorry for them. They were forced to fight, forced to kill, forced to survive. They had been conditioned to mindlessly obey those orders, the Earth Forces going so far as to remove unfavorable memories and install trigger words to get the desired result. And unlike Ira they couldn't change. The modifcations done to their bodies had left them addicted to certain drugs. Drugs that only the Earth Alliance knew how to make. No offical history either. After all why did weapons need history? ”They thirsted for knowledge! They sought to fulfill their desires! And ultimately, they forgot why they were doing it. Even as they proclaimed their reverence for human life, they began toying with it, and then they began destroying it!” Kira's hand lightly curled. He found himself standing in front of one of the 'rooms' a cell actually. And after such treatment they were still treated as less then human. And yet was he really doing anything? Was he really accomplishing anything? Do you think you can change whats going to happen? Nobody can do anything about it. The whirlpool of hatred is engulfing the universe!”And yet he had to try. What else was there left if he didn't try? His fingers became a fist at the thought. Was any of this really worth it? ”Why torment yourself saying, 'Eventually, someday?' How long have you been fighting with your thoughts clouded by that brand of sweet poison?” Kira paused at that one. Had he been right? Had it really all been for nothing? Was humanity destined to destroy itself as he had predicted so long ago. Kira had been so willing to stop him then, so confident, but now. What had been accomplished in those years? What had actually been gained in all of it. Even as Kira stopped the room began to shift before his eyes becoming another familir scene to him as another thought hit him. ”Aren't you the least bit curious? About the ultimate extent of humanity's insatiable desires? About the fools who pursued their insane dream in the name of progress? Because after all, Kira, you're a child of this too.” his eyes widened more at this one. He took a few steps back as he looked around. No, why here? Why now? The scene even before his eyes wasn't fimilar to him. His heart pace increased as one thought echoed in his mind. Why?[/b] The scene was one where his father, his real father had just made the first successful take, the only successful take, in his artifical womb. Him. ”You are the dream of humanity, the Ultimate Coordinator. It was in pursuit of that dream that Dr. Hibiki created the artificial womb. And you are the only viable child it ever produced. For that result, a very large number of your siblings were sacrificed.”Kira stumbled back even more. As a single thought seemed to overtake even his own causing him to drop to his knees and shut his eyes trying to wish it all away. Trying to make it all disappear. ”You're something that shouldn't have been allowed to exist, boy! If people learned of your existence, they would want to become just as you are! They would want to become like you!” The thought faded leaving him in silence and in shock. Had Kira noticed he would have seen the world around him shift once more to the place he knew. The cracked computer screens, the huge open areas, the test tubes scattered and broken. The real place he had been born. The Mendel Colony. Born wasn't the right word. Created would fit better. Before he had even been born he had his genes alerted. To be the best, the brightest, to do what no other coordinator was before. To be the next step in their evolution. A path he had no say in. He was left in silence in his shock before three words rang out from a clear voice. A very familiar voice to him. ”Welcome home, Kira.”______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge[/center]

A strange occurance. One she had suspected but not necessarily expected. This would show her exactly how far he had come and how far he had to go... if he didn't succumb first. Her shimmering figure floated within the folds of the darkness as her long black nails curled over the edge of the mirror pool. Her silver hair fell into the reflection of the scene, causing ripples to spread over it's clear surface. One would think that the flow of water from the stones floating above would already be rippling the water, but no. Only her hair teased it's surface. The only light seemed to come from the pool it's self, casting deep shadows across her face as she watched the scene unfolding before her. This would be an interesting encounter indeed...

______________________________________________________ Kira was half stunned to hear the voice. He knew that voice. His eyes still retained a little bit of shock from the initial surprise, but as he looked up they grew a bit wider, but how. How was that even possible. The person in front of him sighed as he shook his head. ”Whats wrong Kira? Not excited to see your old home? It holds such fond memories for both you and I after all.” he said similing. But how? How was that even possivle? The person he was looking at, it was himself. ”Whats wrong Kira? You seem almost startled. Never seen a mirror before?” he said starting to walk around him. It took Kira a few more seconds before he finally regained his ability to speak. ”How?” he asked still seeming to be in shock. However his alter ego just rolled his eyes. Man was this guy slow or what? How he had even managed to keep both of them alive this long was a mystery to him. ”How what. Come now, Kira. Surly you aren't that surprised at seeing your old home.” he said. Truth be told, he didn't need Kira to answer that. The answer was pretty obvious when you thought about it. Seemed Kira just needed a little help along the way to reach the answer. So like him. Always needing that extra bit of help. ”How is this even possible? Why here?” Kira said after shaking his head and the last bit of shock from his system. Meanwhile his mirror image just smiled. So he had finally gotten out of his shock. Shame, he'd bring it back all in good time, but first things first for the slower folks here. ”Do I really even need to explain it? I'm you. Rather, I'm the you you should be.” he finished. This wasn't all that new of a concept. ”Isn't it obvious as to how you got here? Or did my little hints not clue you in?” he asked now standing behind Kira. Kira finally stood up turning to face him. ”I don't---that was you?” he asked. Instead of answer the other Kira just smiled at him. Of course it was him, who else knew him inside and out well enough to be able to hit all his tiggers. Instead he choose another form of reply. ”So Kira. Been three years away from home. You miss it?” he asked not bothering to look at him. Kira just looked away as he shook his head before mumbling. ”This isn't my home.” he said. His alternate ego just looked over sighing. So it began it seemed. ”Oh, but it is Kira. Just because you wont admit it doesn't make it any less true. It's where, you were born, you were created. By Ulen Hibiki and Via Hibiki, in pursuit of the ultimate lifeform. Something that would surpass everything else.” before he could continue he was cut off. ”Thats not-” he shouted, but again even he was cut off. ”Thats not what Kira? True? Relevant? And who decides that anyway? You? I am you, in case you forgot that little fact.” he asked before staring at him. At this rate he may just be better off switching to Plan B. He had a feeling it would come to that regardless of what he even tried to do. Kira's eyes held a little bit of anger in them. ”My parents are Caridad Yamato and Haruma Yamato.” he said slowly. Of course. Deny everything and it didn't happen. ”You're fake parents that is. And tell me Kira, why do you think it is you were raised with them?” he asked. Of course he already knew the answer, but Kira still couldn't look him in the eye. He aready knew everything the other was telling him was true. What could he possibly say to deny it? ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

Silver eyes watched calmly. So she was right. Kira's inner darkness was so repressed and so feared that it had manifested itself into a physical form in his mind. Judging from appearances, it had been there for some time now, just waiting. It was also likely that it was not fond of being so dormant and unused...
The shimmering image began to bleed with black, like ink had been dropped into the water and was now spreading across the pool but leaving the new Kira's image untouched. She slipped a single finger into the pool and the black instantly vanished, leaving the image clear once more. Yes, dark indeed. Kira certainly had some interesting potential for evil.
This would be a good test for her new learner. Overcoming the evil within was not an easy task. She would know.

______________________________________________________ Kira kept his gaze down. He had nothing to say. He had an idea, but his other half always seemed to be one step ahead of him. It was clear he wasn't going to bail Kira out of this one however. Instead he just smiled waiting on Kira's answer. Wanting him to admit it. Kira took a few more seconds. ”They were killed. Blue Cosmos killed them.” he said. The other slowly shook his head. For once he finally let him finish. ”You need to learn to put more out. I'm not going to figure it all out for you. Why is that?” he continued to push him forward. He wanted him to come to the answer on his own, but he probably wouldn't. There was just no helping this guy. Kira shifted slightly, lifting his gaze only a hair. ”It was because they didn't approve of their work dealing with modifying genes.” he said. His other just sighed and shook his head. So, narrow minded it seemed. ”Sometimes even I wonder if you have to work at being this naïve.” he said shaking his head as he resumed walking. ”Wrong Kira. It was fear.” he said slowly. ”Fear?” he asked not quite making the connection yet. ”Fear of the unknown. Fear of that which is stronger then them.” he said stopping to look back at Kira to see if he was following. He was slowly. Seemed there was still a little hope for him, if only a little. Kira blinked looking down. That which was stronger? Kira looked back down. What was he talking about. His other half sighed. ”Come on Kira. Think about what it is you are. What it was you were meant to do.” he said as Kira took a breathe to start to speak. However he was cut off this time before he even started. ”Oh, oh, oh. Let me guess. Can I? Can I? Can I?” he asked raising his hand as if in school with fake enthusiasm. He slowly lowered it before he started to speak. ”You were made as an example. Something people could look up and aspire too. Well guess what Kira. You're wrong. Again.” he said slowly resuming his walk again. ”You were made to lead the way Kira. In the same manner George Glenn lead the way as the first coordinator. He didn't just wait and hope others would learn. He was active in trying to bring about a future with those abilities, not to just sit back and hope humanity progressed the way he hoped. What is it you've done Kira?” he asked already waiting for the answer. Of course he knew, but he just wanted to show Kira just how wrong he was and that meant he himself had to actually answer. After all, he had said he wasn't going to do all of the work for him. Kira however, paused. ”.....I....” he started. It wasn't something he himself knew how to answer. His other half just shook his head. ”You can't answer it can you Kira. Then lets review what you did before you arrived on Genesis. During your second war what is it you think you actually accomplished.” he said. He was going to enjoy picking apart his beliefs bit by bit. ”I stopped someone from taking away free will.” His other half sighed. ”Then lets review Kira. In that war you claimed you didn't want to kill anyway, yet how many people did you really end up killing. Want to count?” he asked a smile on his face. Kira remained silent as he spoke. He knew, but he didn't want to answer. ”First you killed all those people in the attack against Lacus. You weren't wrong.” he said cutting him off before he could protest. ”And you killed all those people in the ambush Meer lured you into. Again justified. However Kira there are four life's you took. Or rather didn't even attempt to save during that war. You know who they are well don't do?” he asked. Slightly tilting his head to look at Kira. ”Should I list them for you?” he asked. Kira took in a breathe. ”I didn't have a choice!” he said before his alter ego just chuckled. ”Didn't have a choice or they didn't suit your needs?” he said, but this time Kira cut him off. ”That not true! I had no other choice!” he shouted. However, the other Kira didn't shout back instead he just smiled as if he had been waiting. And he had actually. ”Stella Loussier. Ring any bells Kira? It should. After all you did kill the poor girl in cold blood. Of course who could blame you she did level three entire cities. Thats what you tell yourself isn't it? But she was standing down. Shinn had gotten her to back down and instead of letting the situation resolve you killed her." he finished not letting up in his assault on Kira's psyche. Kira continued to look down. ”She was getting ready to-” his other half continued as if Kira hadn't even spoken. ”Next on that list we have Talia Gladys. Who's only crime was loving a man you just so happened to have a problem with. Which brings us to our next two people on the list. Rey Za Burrel. You could argue that since he was the deficient clone of Ra Le Creuset that it was justified, but what is it he truly did that was so bad himself Kira? Can you answer me that?” he asked. Of course he couldn't which lead to the last name on the list. Perhaps the most important. ”Gilbert Durandal. And the only reason you had to let him die was the Destiny Plan, but you know what it is. What is was. It was exactly what you always wanted. It's because people have that ability to choose, that ability to make their own decisions that conflict exists. You say you stand to create such a world and yet when someone tries you oppose them. The ability to know what your destiny is from birth. In such a world there would be no confusion, no pain, no insecurity and as a result peace. Then why did you oppose it? he asked quietly. Decision time for Kira it seemed. This could end one of two ways based on his next response. Kira took a few seconds before replying. ”It wouldn't be right. If such a world did exist. Without that choice.....what would be the point in living in such a world. Every major decision taken care of from birth. Even if such a world brought about peace, and possibly happiness, it wouldn't be a real world. It would be a world of nothing more then mindless beings just doing what they're told.” he explained. For the first time the others eyes seemed to drop. Hard way it was then. ”And tell me Kira, in such a world, how are Lucas, Cagalli, and Athrun doing?” he asked slowly. Kira looked up now surprise in his eyes again. ”What are you-” he started before being cut off. ”You're weak Kira. You were created to lead. Your abilities to stand above everyone else and create such a world that you envision. Instead you choose to cower and hope that someday, perhaps, maybe people will willingly choose such a world. And that's why I'll do what you never could. I'll build that world where they can be safe using the abilities you waste. Theres only one thing standing in the way.” he said. Kira didn't know what he was talking about. ”What-” he started. He would be cut off again, but this time not by a voice. As Kira started to speak his other half drew a gun and fired and blood splattered the floor as the sound of a gun shot echoed across the room. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

She didn't move as the bullet ripped through Kira's shocked form. And so it had begun. He had no choice but to fight now. This version was not up for talking, he was there to kill him. She was rather pleased with Kira though. Even as the other half taunted and verbally attacked him, he still held his mind in one piece- at least decently enough to make that last statement at least, even with the interruptions. He was strong of mind, even now.
She still held the stony side of the mirror pool, motionless though an invisible breeze tussled the ends of her long black silk trail. As she floated in the expanse of darkness, several colored orbs began to float around her body, all of them different colors and hues. One in particular, a red one, floated closely to her ear, seemingly whispering something. She nodded and it floated to balance on the rim of the pool, glowing more and more intensely as time passed on. It seemed to be preparing. But for what?
The stoic woman's face darkened as she leaned over the pool, though the light became just the slightest bit brighter. She knew what this other half was planning now- and it might be the perfect way for him to truly test himself.

______________________________________________________ Kira had already moved, but not near quick enough. He had to supress any sound as he ducked around a corner. His other half frowned. Odd. That hadn't been part of the plan. He slowly lowered the gun shrugging. ”You know Kira, it would have been quicker had you just let me kill you.” he said slowly. Kira tried to move his left arm, but no response. Damn, seemed the shot had cut clean through. He switched as he continued moving pulling out his gun. The question remained how did you go about beating yourself? The other slowly pulled out his clip checking it before sliding it back in. ”But you know, this way is much funner for me. So I suppose I should thank you for that.” he said starting forward. Not that it did him much good. After all Kira had put some distance between them. Of course it was easy to tell where he had went from the trail of blood, but Kira couldn't exactly aford to put his gun down to stop it. His other half just followed stopping short of a range Kira could use, at least with his gun. Kira closed his eyes and steadied his breathing as he slowly reached out. Since it was himself it stood to reason that he had all the same abilities he had, but they thought differently. Maybe that meant he'd use them differently. He took a few more seconds trying to mentally locate him through the Force before a blast shot out knocking him off his feet before Kira rounded soon after firing a few shots from his gun. However he already knew it was coming. He simply dropped back using his hands as a spring, but not to go backwards, instead he twisted to the right slightly so when Kira appeared he had to readjust, or rather would have if he wasn't still holding onto the Force. He quickly intercepted the incoming bullets with his own before pulling out a gernade, but Kira was already moving back into cover. How did you beat yourself? Kira closed his eyes. He seemed to know everything he did in that discussion. So maybe that was the answer? Could such a thing be possible? He'd have to try. He quickly moved not paying attention to where he was going and letting go of the Force. He was running as in the dark as his other half was now. His other half chuckled slightly. So he had finally figured it out. Only took him forever. He ejected his clip in favor of loading a fresh one checking the rounds in the other. Seven left. Not bad, but he'd rather be full. Now then, he had someone to track down and kill. He slowly walked keeping his gun close at hand. His heart was racing, a smile on his face. Much better then Kira simply letting himself be shot he had to admit. And he'd have to thank him right before he died as well. He rounded a corner right as a shot rang out, but it wasn't aimed at him. Rather at his feet. He tried to jump back, but the explosion was faster. A stun gernade catching him in the blast. Rather then fight it at this point he let himself be thrown back as he waited for Kira to move closer. Indeed he did. Rather he had too, to get any kind of shot with the corner there. As he did, he waited. The strength behind his Force Push would suprise him as he was slammed into the wall, his head hitting it before drawing blood. Kira's vision blurred as his body seemed to not respond anymore. Suddenly he felt his gun kicked away as his other half slammed his foot down where the bullet had entered. He let out a sharp cry which he quickly cut off. ”Been fun Kira. Thanks and goodbye.” he said as another single shot rang out. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

The gun shot rang out and the bullet flew for Kira's head, it's path made for one thing and one thing alone. But as suddenly as the shot was fired, the bullet froze mere nanometers from his flesh, suspended in midair, still rotating slowly. But the other half would not have long to examine the oddity. A wave of pure power radiated from the tip of the bullet, pulsing upward with enough force to wrentch the ground from around Kira's still form, turn in into rubble, rip the other half from his prey with the force of a large semi, and the shards all flying upward to meet him midair. However, Kira himself would be untouched by this explosion. Not even the sound would register to him.
Once the blast subsided, and assuming the other half managed to right himself and land without getting killed by the large shards of earth that rushed up to meet him, he would likely notice a figure standing at Kira's feet. Arms crossed and long silken hair wasving about from the after winds. A light glow of red surrounded the woman's form. That same red emanated from her eyes with nothing short of pure anger. "Are you done monologuing?" the form asked coolly.

Kira blinked as the bullet stopped, but just as quickly regained himself jumping back, not quickly enough. He saw it coming with little time to react. It might be enough to give him an advantage against whoever else was here, but they were better then Kira it was obvious. As the ground exploded he used a Force push against the ground to give him height against the incoming debris. He quickly pulled out two gernades with a quick Force Push forced them down shotting them both causing the stone to to become much smaller, however some of the sharnel did hit him. He quickly lanuched a last Force Push sending the remaining bits back down to the ground as he landed on the ground gun extended before he saw who it was.
Part of him wanted to kill her for interfering, but the other part.....his eyes drifted to Kira. Even unconcious that kid was annoying. For now he lowered the gun. ”I suppose your not a fan of my work.” he said flatly. Aside from the minor cuts suffered from the gernades he was fine. Could have been worse. Much worse. He wasn't sure if it came to a fight with her if he could even win. His free hand went to brush agasint his hair, but it met something wet. Damn, seemed it had drew more blood then he thought. Better then being dead he supposed.

She causally leaned to one side, her eyes still glowing with that unnatural burning light- almost fire-like. So much so that her actual eyes could not be seen. "I am not a fan of your mouth, brat." Her face never even so much as moved form it's stoic state as she stared him down. Such a fool, this one was. He knew who she was, sis he really think that gun would do anything to her? Even if he did shoot her? A mocking laugh left her lips and her shoulders shook in mild amusement.
Even as she simply stood there, he would feel her power roll from her in cascades of suffocating waves. In the mind was the only place she let her power flow naturally, anywhere else would attract much unwanted attention. "So, you are tired of being stuck in here, are you? Let me guess- you are disgusted and revolted by his kindness. He is a being of great potential and he is wasting it. Squandering it on meaningless trifles that have softened him." Her tone was far from the usual calm and serene one he had no doubt heard her speak in. No, this one was brazen, unabashed, condescending, and mocking. And to add to it... "Looks like he has rubbed off on you." Now a small, crooked smirk tugged at her lips.

Kira just raised an eyebrow at her comment. Even for her this was a bit aggressive. He simply stood. His mind was already thinking ahead. What could he possibly do if it came to fight against her? He didn't have many choices, but that raised another question. He slowly clapped his hands. ”You can almost figure something out. Congratulations.” he said before stopping. Seemed he had a little explaining to do. ”Not quite however. You see, hes holding me back. He needs to be removed first.” he shifted his attention back to her now.
Despite her tone and her words Kira seemed clam, a slight smile playing on his face in fact. ”Why do you care for him anyway? You only know him because you've been helping train him, but you have no attachment to him. So him, me. Whats the difference to you?” he asked. Honestly he was a bit curious. On the off hand he was hoping to get her to back down and let him finish what he had already started.

She tilted her head lightly, that smirk still not fading, "He helped me so I am helping him. And this little encounter is just part of it." She scoffed and shook her head, beginning a slow, calm walk towards him, her arms still crossed over her chest, "The difference between the two of you... Is your mindsets. A mindset, and what one does with it, for me determines whether a person is worthy of living or dying. And yours? Yours deserves to be drowned in the very blood that pumps through your arteries. Ironic how I used to be just like you."
By the time she was had finished speaking, she was but a few paces from him and seemingly undaunted in the least by the gun he held. Her aura was no longer invisible, but it was certainly turned down a few notches in the that department. A few black wisps of smoke appeared, curling around themselves before vanishing again. They dotted the area every now and then, seeming to pulse in time to her words as she smiled. A smile that held no emotion.

All he could do was shake his head at her little explanition. He had helped her and so for that reason she was ready to interfere in something that she had no part in? He just didn't get it. He shrugged again ”What does it matter to you? You'll get your ship fixed and be on your way in no time. Hes nobody.” he said. Alright, maybe that wasn't quite the truth, but aside from her helping him fix her ship she owed him nothing. Actually she did owe him nothing. She had been training him in return. He hadn't done much else for Kissira other then that.
At her second statement he blinked at first. Then he started to laugh. Something that everything considered might seem a bit odd. She was being unusally dense wasn't she? ”In case you forgot. I am him.” he reminded her putting an emphasis on am. ”A part of him to be sure, but still him. You can't kill me any more then you can erase your past. You're buying time at best.” he finished to her. If she did win and she probably would he'd just be back at a later time.
He quickly eyed the wisps dotting the area. That couldn't be good, now or ever. He ran a free hand through his hair. ”You know. Eventually hes going to get himself killed. You can't be there for him all the time.” he finished. Sure she was here now, but he had a way of finding trouble. And what would she do then? Let him die? Then how did that make this situation any different from such a time? Too many holes. He supposed his real question was. ”What aren't you saying here?”

"You are no more to Kira than I am to Kissira. You are right, one can't kill a mindset.... very easily" Her lips curled into a grin as the glow around her changed to a dark blue, her eyes still hidden by the glow. "As for why I am protecting him, it is just as I said- he helped me and so I am helping him. That is the basis of it. But I cant help but wonder why my motives intrigue you so. Am I not a simple block in your plans? An I not the only thing standing in between you he right now?" Her voice morphed from it's previous harshness to a sweet, mellow calm.
The black wisps never faltered, never approached, and yet never faded either. They were simply laying in wait for her commands. She strode forward one step and extended one luminescent hand to cup the side of his face tenderly. "I have reasons for what I do. I know I can't be there for him all the time. But that is why I am teaching him. But I can't do that anymore until you are gone..." Her voice was sweet, gentle. Almost motherly in it's hinted threatening.

Kira had to stifle a laugh. Part of him wondered how she even came up to such an answer. He shook his head. ”Again you're wrong. I'm a part of him. One he doesn't use often, but I'm still here. Or hasn't he told you?” he chuckled as it occurred to him he hadn't. So he got to tell her the news. How exciting. ”When I'm allowed my fun.” a smile crossed his face. ”It's quite entertaining. The last time I was allowed to have my fun. Oh who was it. Oh right. He wanted to see one of his good friends suffer and die. Shame the other cut it short. What fun that would have been.” he wasn't lying either. His smile grew even wider. Before that it had been in the desert. Oh what fun it had been destroying all those people for no reason other then he could. Those had been fun, but so far no one here had let him have his fun, but he wasn't lying about what he had said earlier. True peace like he wanted needed someone to lead. Otherwise that ability to make decisions would just lead to conflict. He was serious about protecting those close to him though. Lacus, Cagalli, maybe Athrun. They were on much better terms now, so why not throw him in, but not much beyond that. Kira rolled his eyes at her words. He wasn't stupid. He knew she herself held back in their training sessions. Just from what he felt earlier he could tell they weren't even close to the same level. In the manner that Kira wasn't close to him. He wouldn't be able to shoot Kira. He had a feeling his little guest here would stop that before it had even really begun. ”All you're doing is buying time. You can't kill me, but you know that already.” he said pausing as she put a hand on his face. He didn't have a lot of space to move back, if he kept up he would wind up in one of them before he knew it. Instead he stepped slightly to the side, not quickly enough to try to start something, but just enough to keep her from touching him. Best to not give her that advantage. If she did kill him he'd just be back to try again later. He pondered for a few more seconds before pausing.A smile crept back onto his face. ”You actually care what happens to him, don't you?” he asked slowly. And so that small part that attracted people to Kira remained it seemed. Whatever it was. He still hadn't figure it quite out yet. Still it was there for whatever reason, but the more he thought about it the more that made sense. She was putting an unusual amount of effort into this considering she was teaching this. Though he himself didn't like sloppy work, that wasn't the point. Even thinking back to her as a person the idea started to make more and more sense. That really was it wasn't it?
