Shit... just a few minutes ago he had been surrounded by a few piss ants that were friends with that one kid he had kicked the shit out of at school... and now he was here where ever here was in mid-flying knee towards what appeared to be a red headed female.

Nick slowly and tiredly began to plod her way back to the inn, completely exhausted after a full day of non-stop training. Her arrival a few days before had not hindered her training mind and she was grateful for that. Having already had to deal with a few demons, she was getting used to the way things were going to go for her for the next little bit.
Her headphones blared Five Finger Death Punch as she walked, unable to hear anything. including the small zap that teleported the red-haird boy directly at her.. until she felt his presence. She turned and had no time to think as a knee flew at her face. Quickly she ducked to the ground but reached up to grab her 'attacker' by the shirt and rip him forward to the ground. Realizing that he was not demon, she gasped and tuged a bit to hopefully send him into a roll instead of face first into the ground.

He could feel the slight tugging in the fibers of his shirt, he wasn't that high up in the air so when he got pulled down he reacted just like his teacher had taught him and twisted around, latching on to his 'attacker's' arm and falling to his back... pulling the hand closer to his chest, and pinning arm between his thighs.
He used a sue-do arm-bar in order to break his fall before his back touched the ground and he released her. "Well damn, Next time just move, yeah?"

Nick blinked a bit at the armbar and was about to react when he let her go. Ooookay well that's a new one. She stood and ripped the headphones out of her ears, letting the wire fall on the front of her hoodie. "Where the fuck did you come from? Nice flying armbar by the way." She looked him up and down for a sec, he was wearing clothes similar to hers... maybe...

He got up, brushing himself before she began speaking. He took an extra moment to make sure he had dusted himself off completely before looking at her. "That away," His reply was quick and accompanied with a finger pointing towards the direction he had just come from.
Something caught his attention though as she mentioned the name of the technique, he just shrugged. "I guess, I was just breaking my fall. You do martial arts?"

Nick blinked a few times before she put the pieces together. He must have just been zapped here like she had. "Yeah I do. You too it looks like." She leaned on one leg and toyed with her head phones, the music still blaring. She reached into her pocket with her free hand and turned it off without looking. "Not to change subjects or nothin' but I'm guessing were about to beat the shit out of some poor guy weren't ya?" Funny enough she was completely calm, guess it was all the weird stuff she had seen since getting here. She was getting used to it.

He sighed, well at least he didn't need to deal with those idiots anymore... they were probably all dumb founded that he disappeared like that. "About ten, I broke this guys arm, he ended up getting his buddies involved." The reply was simple before he sat down on the side walk, resting his back against the concrete wall of a building.
He needed to calm down... and god was his head spinning... "Either way, doesn't matter any more... What styles?"

This guy was interesting, guess he didn't care that he was now in a different world. Oh well. She leaned against the wall, her hands in her hoodie pocket one over her stomach and the other over her pistol. "Roots in traditional karate, judo, and Dentoryu-kobajitsu. Thai Kickboxing and few others thrown in there too. How about you? That knee had TKD written all over it." He was no amateur that was for sure.

He shrugged, "It's not that Olympic crap." His reply was simple and short as he leaned his head against the wall. He did need to figure out where he was and all, but only after he got rid of this queasy feeling. This had to be the worst day of his life... He get's kicked out of school, almost jumped, and now he's in a different world...

Nick couldn't help but scoff, a bit relieved to find that he took that view the same. "Good thing otherwise you wouldn't last long here." She looked at the skyline and her lips set into a grim line- the sun was setting. She turned back to her 'attacker', "Hey how about we finish this at the inn down the road." She jerked her thumb in the general direction of the building. "Got here a few days ago myself and made a deal with the owner. Let me get ya a drink."

He pushed himself up to his feet, swaying a bit before straightening out. "Sure I guess." He responded, motioning for her to lead the way. "Name's Frost by the way."

Nickname she guessed, "Nick," She simply responded, reaching over her turned shoulder to shake his hand. She kept her face friendly enough, but on the inside she was getting a bit anxious. She really wasn't in the mood or condition to deal with another run in with a demon. But she was patient and kept a slow pace for Frost, seeing as he was a bit wobbly.
As they approached the inn, she moaned a bit. A small group of people stood around one of the trash bins in the road. This wouldn't be so bad if she hadn't caught the sheen of glass bottles in their hands. Not only that, but as the pair got closer, the group's attentions turned on them. Fantastic... she though to herself and nudged Frost with her elbow, not enough for the group to see but considering that the two were practically side by side, that wasn't hard. If he looked her way, he would see her looking at him from the corner of her eye then flicking her gaze back to the group. She hoped he got the message. There was no getting out of this... She discreetly tucked her gun further into her belt, securing it in place, then letting her arms stay loose. Five of them she counted.
The group talked amongst themselves for a moment before they all turned and began to advance, discarding their bottles. Two of them slipped their hands into their pockets- she knew what that meant. She just hoped her companion did to.
