Nightmare growled as he entered a human city, this place reeked of souls, it was almost like a feast for the cursed human. Here he would be able to feed Soul Edge all the souls it needed to gain more power and with more power meant more strength to him as he almost laughed out loud. He never thought that this new world would hold anything of value to him, he couldn't care less that there was a civil war going on in this very land. In fact if he could he would just crush both opposition and steal their souls...but first he needed more information, more followers, he wished he had Tira with him but since she wasn't here he would need new people to be his eyes and ears.
The people all stared at him and some backed away, more so perhaps because of his demonic aura that was hanging around him, he ignored all of them and continued to walk forward. He wanted to find strong warriors that would be able to match his strength, it was dissapointing that very few people in his own world could match his strength, the only able to defeat him being Seigfried...perhaps he will meet someone similar in this world? "Hey who are you? Identify yourself!" one of the guards shouted as several men surrounded him instantly, "Are you working for the rebels?"
Nightmare laughed at such a remark, "Me? Work for humans? Don't make me laugh!" she screamed as he grabbed the offender's head and squashed it like a watermelon as the other guards immediately went to strike at him but he blocked three of their swords with his oversized hands while the other one struck down two in one breath with Soul Edge as their souls were sucked into the cursed sword, "I am Nightmare and I serve no one!" he affirmed again as the chaos began.
