If walls could speak in The Dead City, the words would cumble just as the few multistoried buildings did as a young girl walked by, her dress ripped and torn toward the hem, her black hair a wild spirit in the slight breeze that now seemed to remind her of a tune she had once heard an age ago. Beautiful, and quiet the bandits and brigands left her alone; her eyes warning enough that she was not to be disturbed.
As she passed several buildings, she occasionally raised a skeleton and dismissed it, using it only as a relatively minor means of practice as she travelled. She held a long stemmed rose of darkest black in her hand; it looked in remarkable condition, given the crrent state of her dress. It hinted a slight glow, and had engravings on opposing petals of the exposed flower; Violet Digrash now gazed as she walked, and almost tripped on a rock.

"Why must I always be so clumsy?" She muttered to herself, as she remembered the fighting in Isafaro not long ago; she had impaled her lover out of a blind rage, not knowing it was in fact him.
Perhaps he had escaped? But she now withdrew from such hopes; knowing full well she'd used arcane magic on Grey Everlost, his bane and weakness. She saw him as she recovered, and she had fled like a coward. Disgusted with herself, she kicked a rock; which seemed to cause one of the few remaining buildings to collapse in the distance.
A small ruch of air came rushing through, and she let herself embrace it; dreaming of better days when death was not such a cursed thing. Necromancy; her one gift. She now used it in search of atonement, though the path now approached sooner than she had approached.

"Who goes there?" She said, as a shadow appeared beside her.

Vladimir Tod had been walking around the place known as dead city. He had not known how he got there, only that he was there, and he needed information about the place. He looked around, trying to see where would be the best place for him to get a view.

"There, that is where I should go."

As soon as Vlad spots the highest building, he beings to run with vampiric speed to there, sticking to the shadows. He reaches the building and climbs up. When he reaches the top of the building, he begins to take a look around. As he looks, he sees a girl in a ripped dress walking on the ground. As she turns the corner, he sees a skeleton raise up from the ground, and begins to follow her.

"Oh no, she has no idea, I must go and help her."

With that thought in his head, he levitates down from the top, and lands on the ground. He runs to catch up to her, though he realizes once she is in sight, that the skeleton is gone. Cautiously, he beings to silently moves up behind her, though not in a malevolent way. As he gets next to her, he hears her speak.

"Who goes there?" She said, as Vlad is next to her.

"Oh, sorry for disturbing you, it is just that you are the first person I have met here."

He puts out his hand as a request for a shake.

She turned to face this new intruder; and her eyes almost decieved her. A man of dark hair, and dark clothing now spoke to her, but she soon realised this was not the man she had hoped it was since the eyes and clothing were incorrect. Her eyes hardened in resolve in the confirmation that this was not indeed Grey Everlost, as the man extended and hand, rather than a bow. The steel rose in her hand closed a little, defensive and cautious, as Violet's soft voice took a stern tone.
"State your name, lest I send you to a grave far below the earth." she stated bluntly, her mind quickly to the daggers she hid behind her in the dress. Should this man secretly be hostile, she was ready; 4 skeletons with bows moved into sight from alleyways, and two more came to Violets side, each carrying a rather sharp looking swords.
They waited as Violet did; with a cold, lifeless glare that would send young children screaming. A large clay golem came up behind the man, in a bid to prevent escape.
Violet would have her answer. That much is certain.

"State your name, lest I send you to a a grave far below the earth"she stated bluntly.

"Oh, well my name is... is... uh you do see the skeletons, right."

Vlad was more shocked than scared of the skeletons with their medieval weapons. Making sure no one is behind him, just in case the skeletons attack him, he glances back to see the clay golem. His mind begins racing as he thinking of what is happening. He realizes that they are not attacking, so someone is forcing them not to, and that he had yet to say his name.

"My... my name is Vladimir Tod, but you can call me Vlad."

This stranger was new to this world, it seemed; but this did not mean he was not dangerous. With that same unfriendly tone her voice, she spoke to this stealthy newcomer.
"Have you never seen necromancy at work?" A playful grin crossed an enchanting face as several cruel ideas came to mind; but these ideas were replaced with a painful, fresh memory of her past actions in another place. She never let her emotion reach her face however, as the golem behind 'Vlad' slowly rumbled back into a large pile of rubble.
The skeletons fell as well, the bones sinking through the earth as though it were quicksand.

"You are fortunate I no longer seek blood as recompense for invasion of my personal space, and that I feel merciful this evening. I would recommend avoiding people in these parts; the bandits and fools of this place alike would strip you bare of anything they could, given the chance."

Violet turned around and began to walk onward, a small child's skeleton risin from the gound and walking alongside her, grabbing her hand, and the two seemed to have a conversation. Violet stopped, and the skeleton crumbled as she scolded it, falling through the earth in the same manner as the warriors before.
Looking back with eyes softer than before, she lightly rubbed her temples before calling over.
"Are you not following, or are you simple deaf? T'is not safe in this city without help."

Vlad was stunned when he realized that this woman was in control over these skeletons. He remembers reading about necromancy in Bathory, but he thought is was a legend.

"You are fortunate I no longer seek blood as recompense for invasion of my personal space, and that I feel merciful this evening. I would recommend avoiding people in these parts; the bandits and rolls of this place alike would strip you bare of anything they could, given the chance."

As Vlad hears the word blood, his fangs begin to slide out, though he forces them back in.

This woman may be a necromancer, but I should still at least act normal.

Vlad was lost in his own world, not even noticing that the woman left until she turns back and call at Vlad.

"Are you not following, or are you simple deaf? T'is not safe in this city without help."

Vlad snaps out of his daze to see her about 20 ft. away.

"Oh, coming."

Vlad begins to run to catch up to her, though slow enough not to create suspicion.

"Well, if are going to help each other, we might as well get to know each other." Would you like to go first or shall I?"

Violet was hardly in the mood for such frivolities. In fact, she was more concerned that something or someone was following them. Even though she was certain she had been subtle, this child had been loud, and possibly revealed their position to would be ambushers.
"I wish for silence, not to hear sob stories about a past life that no doubt had its troubles; in fact, I care little for your wellbeing. If you die, I will simply re-use you." She whispered harshly, remaining silent afterwards.

It seemed that the walk would be cut short, as her enchanted glasses flashed and she detected what she had feared; at least one other person in the vicinity, armed, and almost certainly a threat.
Stopping, and looking around, her whole body feeling the air around, the rose in her hands glowing faintly with a negative energy.
Reaching for the holsters on her legs, she retrieved a dagger, and held the blade carefully as she prepared for what might be something dangerous.
"Vlad, I hope you can fight. We have interlopers."

As soon as she says she wishes for silence, Vlad shuts up. As they walk, Vlad notices that she stops and starts to look around. As she reaches for her knife, Vlad takes a careful step back, to make sure that she doesn't turn on him.

"Vlad, I hope you can fight. We have interlopers."

"Trust me, I think I can handle a few interlopers."

Despite the obvious fact that this woman thinks he lacks in fighting ability, she has no idea what he can do. He raises his hands in a fighting stance, waiting for whoever or whatever will come at us.

Soon enough, everyone on the street would eventually be able to hear the soft whirring noise that blew through the air, just below the skyline. A silver craft was blazing through the night on nearly silent jet engines. The bottom of the craft moved, seemingly human, until one looked closer at the craft and noticed that it was merely a jet suit, with the operator attached to it. Kaley picked up a reading of life on her sensor, two people on the street instead of hiding out like everything should be in this area. Eh? Two idiots that want to get mugged... Still, better check it out... She stayed in Fold form until she neared the two people, and once she came within visual range, she shifted her suit to change to a form where she basically hovered in midair, upright, her helmet activating and forming around her head. Energy shields went up as a precaution, and since there were two, she decided to play it safe and pull out her Beam Cannon. The versatile weapon was still in Pistol form and in it's hip holster. She pulled it out and keyed a command into it, causing the barrel to extend, forming Barrel mode. She set the cannon to it's Capture lens, which would extend a small rod just out of the barrels mouth, barely visible to others.

She floated the rest of the way down to the two. Noting the fact that they were in defensive stance. I'd probably be too, if there was some advanced tech floating down to see me, weapon in hand... "Don't you know that this area is dangerous out on the street?"

Violet eyed this strange andriod with apprehension in her cold, unwelcoming eyes. The glasses she wore were scanning and her face wrinkled in disgust at the lack of information. Shaking her head, she replied with a tone of bitterness.
"How rude; you approach a lady without even telling us first who you are!" She called, raising her dagger, and throwing it.
Two stone golems erupted from behind the mech, using rubble and fallen buildings to make themselves thick and tall.
"What makes you think we cannot defend ourselves?"

Violet secretly wished Grey Everlost would come to her rescue; but knew he'd be recovering for some time. After the attacks She'd unleashed on him
She would have to, regretfully, hope that this boy was capable of fighting; lest they both perish at the hands of some droid.

Vlad looks at this android girl, and realizes he would be at a disadvantage as his hand to hand would be ineffective. He looks around on the ground, and sees a dagger lying on the ground. He runs for it and picks it up. After grabbing the dagger, he begins to climb up a building, trying to avoid contact. He reaches to the top to look down on the battle.

"Two large units have originated behind you." The computer buzzed in her earpiece, barely turning her head to note the two golems. As she was looking behind, she heard the faint buzz of the energy shield coming into contact with something, and looked down to see a small knife fall away from her. She couldn't help but let out a barey audible chuckle. Raising her Beam Cannon to aim at the girl, she noted the computers analysis of the boy climbing the building at a brisk speed. "Tactical Overlay." Her screen went from just a few items on the hud to a few more, indicating multiple factors such as the coordinated location of the two people seemingly ready to attack her, as well as noted weapons they may have. It was so far blank, save for the girls knife, but if they attacked, it would collect data on their attacks and weapons.

"Stand down and I won't need to detain you." She hovered in the air, not making any movement, still holding the cannon aimed at the girl. It was set to Capture, so it would only fire it's electrical energy net, which while effective, only lasted so long.

Vlad looks down from the building, seeing the android pointing her gun and his "friend".

I think she saw me, though I must wait to see what happens."

As he waits, he hears a stand down, and he smiles a bit.

Whats going to happen... I let my friend distract her first, then I strike.

Violet reached out and the dagger she had thrown raced back to her handling a blur of shadows. Narrowing her eyes at this new intruder, it seemed her journey to salvation would have to be delayed slightly. Dropping to the ground and the. Rising up, her hands pulled up skeletons all over the ground, all with ranged weapons of all sorts; bows, crossbows. Even an old bazooka, these skeletons all aimed, and Violets face lit up with malice.
"Nameless android, perhaps you should stand down. Lest you fall as these men and women did; begging for mercy from a death they could not hope to fight against. Disease and death, both connected unarguably, both aiding one another. " she called, eyeing the girl in the power suit. The golems stomped loudly as they moved closer to the suited soldier, and growled as though it was the earth itself.
"Daring to assault me . . . The nerve of such low fools . . . " she mumbled to herself.

"Multiple long-range weapons detected." Each of the skeletons were lit up in red on her tactical display, indicating that they could all fire upon her, and the one with the bazooka was highlighted in white, indicating it as the most immediate threat. She would have to play this one carefully. For a few seconds, Kaley just hovered there in midair, completely still, until she finally began typing a command into the Beam Cannon, causing the metal rod to retract back into the barrel. "I suppose an android wouldn't have a hope of a chance in defeating you..." She typed another command into the gun. Nobody threatens me and gets away with it!

The gun shifted some more, but instead of reforming into Pistol Mode, tracer claws extended out of the barrel, and upon pulling the trigger immediately began charging a ball of energy. "Good thing I'm far more advanced than any android!" At the same time, she cut the propulsion in her boots and fired the ball of energy at the skeleton holding the bazooka. The resulting explosion would rend that skeleton and the ones around it to pieces. Kaley fell towards the ground, reactivating power when she was only about three feet above the small army of skeletons, and didn't give anyone a chance to fire upon her. She was off, flying just above the skeletons heads but out of their reach, making it difficult for them to fire at her. Skelleys... so fun to blow up... "Reprioritizing targets." She awaited to see who the computer saw as the next greatest threat.
