[Ayen]

"Can't you tell, I did say this was my card. The name is Joker at your service. As I said before, the name is Joker, at your service. So much for nothing up my sleeves."

"I think the bleach has gotten to his head."

“Get to the point,” she replied to The Joker.

[Kragen]

Kragen stood there and watched.

[Madara Uchiha]

The Joker's smile went away for the most part, leaving only the smile that was stuck there since the chemical spill scarring him. The Joker then straightens his jacket, and puts both hands in his pocket, making sure in his right hand, he still held his joker card.

"Well, I can see that you don't like jokes, what a shame. I am guessing that you are wanting my background and blah blah blah. Now lets see, which background do you want?"

The truth is the Joker had no background, but many backgrounds, some that even he didn't know. To be honest, he was not trying to confuse the woman in front of him, but the only way she could understand him is if she was him.

[Ayen]

"Well, I can see that you don't like jokes, what a shame. I am guessing that you are wanting my background and blah blah blah. Now lets see, which background do you want?"

“If you intend to join us your background is irrelevant. It's what you can do that matters. And right now all I can see you doing is distracting the enemy while we flank them from behind.”

Because no one ever expects the clowns.

[Kragen]

"The one that's true," replied Kragen. The red eyes on his gas mask was starting to glow as he kept his stare fixated on Joker. Any funny business, any funny business at all and it wouldn't be long for Kragen to draw the HK45 and end this conversation with a bullet.

[Madara Uchiha]

The Joker paused, as one didn't want his background, while the other did. He shrugs at the thought and goes back to the conversation.

"Ma'am, I can do more that distract the opponent, but I can't really show it to an ally, because well, they would get hurt. If I were to prove my abilities, I would have to fight the enemy, or a robot, or something along the line of that. As for the man who wishes to know my background sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another... if I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice! By that I mean not even I know.

[Garrus Vakarian]

He couldn't remember his own past? Garrus was unsure about this and while he knew he didn't have much say in the recruiting process something was wrong here.

Garrus Vakarian
Genius.

Garrus spoke now facing the vampire child.

Shouldn't we wait on the Commander and the Captain? I think they'd want to see this.

[Ayen]

“I assure you. I can handle myself.”

Genius motioned for Kragen and Garrus to back up as Genius wanted them to have plenty of room for Joker to defenestrate what he could do.

“Show me.”

"Genius. Shouldn't we wait on the Commander and the Captain? I think they'd want to see this."

“I'm the general, Mr. Vakarian. I am fully capable of recruiting on my own.”

[Madara Uchiha]

The Joker sighs at this woman's opinion on him fighting her. Usually, he wouldn't care who he fought, but in this case, if she died, he wouldn't be able to join the resistance, and kill Vulture.

Ma'am, you miss understood me when I said I wanted to fight an enemy, or a robot, and that is because most of my tactics, are well... lethal, and no, I am not joking about this.

However, the Joker knew that she would be persistent on him fighting her, because she didn't believe that he was very serious about killing. The Joker sighed and then was ready to fight.

"Well... if you insist, then I have no choice...

With a quick flick of his right wrist, his Joker card that he showed earlier flew out of his hand, and was aimed right at the girl in front of him. However, the Joker aimed to miss the girl by an inch from her head. The card hit the brick wall behind her, burrowing into the wall by about an inch. Before it hit though, with his left hand he took out his gun and aimed it right at her head. He pulled the trigger, and a shot rang out with smoke coming out of the gun. The smoke cleared revealing a flag that had the word bang on it.

[Ayen]

"Ma'am, you miss understood me when I said I wanted to fight an enemy, or a robot, and that is because most of my tactics, are well... lethal, and no, I am not joking about this."

“Neither am I.”

"Well... if you insist, then I have no choice..."

Genius didn't react as the card came for her. At the speeds she could move it was easy to track it and see that the card was already angled on purpose to miss her by an inch and so she only tilted her head slightly further away from that inch before the card went into the nearby brick wall. Her eyes never ventured away from him as the gun came and looked on with a masked expression as the 'Bang' flag came out of the barrel.

“Let me guess. Fire again and the flagpole ejects to impale your target.”

[Kragen]

Kragen took a couple of steps backward to leave the two some room, curious to how this match would unfold as Joker was oblivious to the fact the child before him was a vampire whose speed was matched by very few people. It had only been by a stroke of luck that he was able to released a well placed stun grenade at her allowing Garrus and Shepard to take her down with their weapons. It would seem they also attracted a small crowd to their position as the demonstration began and the card plus flag came into play. The Ex-Soldier wasn't impressed, Genius on the other hand saw something more than just a flag as she inquired what would happen if the trigger was squeezed again. Kragen folded his arms unsure what would happen next or how they would utilize such a soldier in combat. Not to mention he didn't trust him.

[Madara Uchiha]

The Joker smiled at the woman's assumption. "Hm... you certainly are smart, aren't you." The Joker pressed another button, and the flag went back in. "I am not sure how you knew, but you did. However, don't think that was my only trick." He threw his left arm down, and out came four small balls. Then, he threw three around him, completely covering him in a green gas, and threw one at the woman. If she did sercome to the Joker Venom, she would be completely paralyzed for about ten minutes, then she would die. Luckily, the Joker had an antidote. Completely under the smokescreen, the Joker put on a pair of swirly glasses, that allowed him to see through the Joker venom, providing a red hue to match the green of the venom. He then took out one of his mallets, and pressed a button, sending a boxing glove at the woman filled with lead. Good luck dodging that... The Joker knew that this wouldn't kill her, but it would hurt, a lot.

[Garrus Vakarian]

Garrus backed away from the two alongside Kragen and simply watched the events unfolded while taking a quick glance at the crowd they've attracted for this show. The people here probably weren't used to seeing a clown face off against a kid and Isafaro has seen its fair share of strange occurrences. After Genius barely responded to the last attack Garrus was about to ask if she was really considering recruiting this man. He understood the situation but a line had to be drawn somewhere and this guy was sending off all sorts of bad vibes. The turian could see Kragen sensed it too. However before he could speak Joker let loose some type of gas resulting in Garrus to put on his helmet so the built in oxygen mask could do its work protecting him.

Get away now!

The people started to back away from the gas and covered their mouths. Not everyone could have a gas mask or an oxygen helmet like Kragen and Garrus had. Or not have to breathe like Genius. While the people cleared away the rebel turian looked back to the clown.

What the hell was that?

[Ayen]

Genius didn't react to the gas that was released by The Joker. A perk to not having to be able to breathe unless she intended to talk. The wind picked up, kicking the gas off into the air and drifting it through the sky where it would become someone else's problem.

“Well, that was reckless.”

“What's going on over here?”

Genius turned her head to see Imai and 201 walking up to the four of them. Imai and 201's eyes instantly going over to The Joker like the sore thumb in the room that he was.

“Who is this?”

“The Joker. He wishes to join us.”

“Can he juggle?”

“You're not like the others. Why do you want to take the Vulture down?”

[Madara Uchiha]

"Oh well, there goes my trial... strange though that you didn't get 'Jokered' not like it mattered" The Joker put up his mallet, and looks behind the woman he fought to see two more join up with them. He listened them remark about him, even messing around with him with juggling. Finally, he knew when it was his turn to speak, as he was specifically addressed by one of the new people. "Hm... why do I want to help take down Vulture. Well, the truth be told I can give you two answers, one that is a complete lie, and one that is the truth. The lie would be that I truly care for the citizens of this city, which is not really true. The truth, however, is much deeper than that. I want to help take down Vulture simply because I want to help take down Vulture. That is it, no 'because a friend died because of him' or 'he stole from me, and I want payback'. It is the same reason a child play games, he doesn't have to, he just wants to have fun. I don't have to help take down Vulture because I have to, it is because I want to." This was uncharacteristic of the Joker, but he did mean what he said.
