Special Abilities: Mewtwo, being the result of genetic splicing, is a powerful psychic Pokemon and has the ability to levitate, speak telepathically to anyone as well as a host of psychic attacks. It’s signature move is Psystrike which is a powerful psychic wave to obliterate it’s opponent, it’s other abilities includes the ability to launch balls of pure power towards it’s opponent and an aura-like shield that deflects and protects Mewtwo from any attacks. It also utilizes his telekinetic abilities to smash his opponent into the ground and also has the ability to use elemental attacks such as flamethrower and ice-beam among others in order to supplement his psychic abilities due to his genetic splicing.

History:
Mewtwo was the result of experimentation to create the ‘perfect’ pokemon. The basis of this research was on a rare Pokemon called Mew which they managed to capture after years of effort and many failures, they used the DNA of Mew as well as other rare and powerful Pokemons, and they spliced it together in order to create Mewtwo. However the group of people that produced Mewtwo was called Team Rocket and planned to use Mewtwo to conquer the world and make them the ultimate ruler.
What they did not count on was that fact that Mewtwo was no ordinary Pokemon, in fact it was sentient and had human intelligence if not higher, and was able to easily see through their façade that his handler was telling him. He realized that Pokemon were merely tools in the eyes of humans and that they were only interested in power and wealth, disgusted he destroyed the facility where they were keeping him and released itself intending to destroy humanity.
It then went to his original birthplace, New Island, where he issued a challenge to trainers so that he may test them and eventually defeat them his plan being to take the strongest Pokemons and clone them so that he could have an army to take over the world. But he was stopped due to the efforts of several trainers and their loyal Pokemon as he soon realized that humans were not so bad and had a change of heart as he soon released all the Pokemons and trainers intending to see if humans could truly change the way they treat Pokemons as he began to search for the meaning of his life.
It was during this soul-searching years that the world that he lived in began to merge with other dimensions as Mewtwo could feel that the world was changing as he began to fear that a greater evil was beginning to rise. But still the neutral Pokemon he was he decided to simply observe humans and only interact with them if he was ever interested in what they were doing while at the same time protecting the Pokemons that were affected with the new environment.
