Grey wandered the dark busy corridors of the Resistance base. Indeed, everyone had a right to be hurried; having found the base to be compromised. It seemed everyone was eager to do thier bit to protect thier dreams; and Grey himself even had to admire this. But he now reflected on his own task; recruiting new members to his once lost order; The Eclipse Knights. His sister had made it a blatant neccesity it seems, her wishes for some form of power again being granted. The young man merely mused that he was now the leader of a freelance mercenary group, and almost felt a little offended; but he saw the hope of others as they rushed past, thier heart beats very visible to him. He pulled his black jacket tighter in a bid to avoid collision with people, and even his iconic smirk and scythe were both withdrawn, his once fearsome appearance now simply a mere curious glare at everyone and everything around him. He shook his head, and moved away from the bustle; away from the calls and shouts and the tidal wave of bodies that had constantly hit him. He found a nice calm place in the research room that had not long ago aided him in understanding computers; once a mystery, now an annoyance. "A perfect place for a portal, I think." Grey said, and raised his hand. A black wormhole erupted in the wall, and far in the distance, a small light could be seen, and something oddly green. "Home..." Grey muttered to himself, "The perfect place to raise great knights, I think." The portal expanded slightly, and he took a sheet of paper, and carefully lay a hand on it. The paper suddenly had all sorts of well drawn advertisements on it; Directions on how to join the Eclipse Knights; "Join the Eclipse Knights, and fight for honor!" most of them said; and indeed many had a knight in ornate armor and a blade slaying some many of demon. "I hope this isn't too old fashioned for all this technology." Grey said, chuckling. He moved then at a rapid speed; dispensing a poster in every high traffic area of the base. "There," he said as he returned to the room he'd opened the portal in, "Now, I suppose I must wait patiently. I wonder if there are any books on the girl in my head....?" Grey asked himself ponderously, and then seemed to fall into a trance, his eyes aglow, his body frozen as he recalled all the information in his mind for the face. He could not finish his search, however, as a face appeared in the room not long after.... "Hmph, You here to research, or to actually sign up?" He asked the newcomer....

William banged his head to the rift that Johnny was playing out at the concert. The rift stopped and set up for William's time to start singing again. He took a breath and put his voice in a growl coming from his throat, "One more time, they have lied to you and they now dare to disgrace me! This is the last breath for them!" William growled through the microphone. The crowd was going crazy, they loved them.
Finally OWI is going somewhere,
Hendricks ended the song with a drum solo. William raised his hands saying a last good-bye before they left the arena. He turned around to start heading back stage when some hole, void of space opened up and spit out a paper into his face. When he pulled the paper away the hole was gone.
He stood in disbelieve at what just happened. He looked down at the paper, and read it aloud, "Join the Eclipse Knights, and fight for honor! What in the hell is th-" The sentence was cut short as a portal opened behind William and sucked him into the new world.
He landed standing in the middle of a crowded base with people wearing weird clothes ran past him, not giving him a second look. He looked around and saw an open door with no one heading in or out of it. He pushed his way through and made it to the door. He looked inside and a man, spoke to him.
"Hmph, You here to research, or to actually sign up?"
The man said it so blankly it caught him off guard. "Who are you? and what is this," William looked down at the paper "Eclipse Knights thing!?" William's head was flooded with questions, he decided to ask another, "What the hell is this place?"

Grey narrowed his eyes and hardly seemed to be impressed; but the clothes on the man suggested an already foreign presence. Could one of his posters made it's way through an opening in the rift to another dimension? It seemed that this was true, as the man before him was standing with the greatest disbelief in his eyes. His flicked his messy dark hair out of cold blue eyes. His scythe flashed into view; menacing and threatening, and Grey walked indefinately closer. The door closed behind the man, and a chair suddenly appeared.
"Sit." Was all Grey told the man at first, his jacket only slightly shifting, and he visually motioned to the man to sit, his scythe gripped tightly in his hand. "Sit, and tell me who you are, and what you are."
Grey didn't seem to move at all, but the lock suddenly flipped shut, and the room darkened around them, his blue eyes the only thing now with color. "And I would begin with 'My name is ....' " Grey mentioned, smirking maliciously.

As William spit the last words at this man, a scythe appeared in the man's hand. William's eyes went wide in surprise and in fear. The man walked up to William till he was very close to him. He heard a loud bang and his head spun to see the door had shut itself. He turned back around to appoligize and try and get out of there when a chair appeared.
"Sit."
Was all the man said at first. William watched as the man's hand gripped tightly around the scythe. William followed the order and sat down, hoping that the chair was not the last thing he'd ever sit on.
"Sit, and tell me who you are, and what you are."
Normally William would have laughed at the last part, but the way this man said it, with the scythe in his hand, made William know that he was not kidding.
The man didn't move atoll, not that William could have seen, but then the room darkened and a lock bolted the door shut.
"And I would begin with 'My name is ....' "
This dark figure smiled with a dark intent on his face.
William choked as he opened his mouth to speak but no words would form. He was scared, no, terrified of what this man could do to him.
"My name is William and I'm a singer for a band called Outer Worldly Invaders, but I am anything but an alien, sir. I'm just some human who grew up in a small collage town," William spoke fast to get out all the information before this guy would hurt him.

Grey brought his almost glowing scythe's blade to his neck; though not the sharp edge. He quickly retreated, and focused carefully on the man, his blue eyes seeming less than stone at this particular moment. His scythe flashed from view; replaced with a rather intricate looking violin. "You sing? Sing to this then. Harmonize, if you can." Grey asked, no emotion in an otherwise nondescript face, his jacket shifting slightly as a bow appeared, bringing it close to the small violin.
The first note pierced, but the sound soon rounded, and a slow moving pace was created, somber and depressing. It really seemed to scream of an emotional pain, but Grey's face was dark, and the room also seemed to nearly vanish once more. "Now, take over the song from me. I want to feel power. Understood?" Grey commanded, his song never faltering. His bow was now moving quickly, and the song became a lot more dramatic, and other instruments could now also be heard. "Sing!" He demanded. And all went silent, waiting for a vocal reply.

William leaned back as this man brought the scythe to his neck. He swallowed in anxiety to the blade, no matter what side was near him. The odd man retreated back and seemed to be staring at William's very soul. After a few minutes the man spoke.
"You sing? Sing to this then. Harmonize, if you can."
The man turned his scythe into a violin. What the hell?! William thought to himself. As fast as the scythe turned into a violin, the man reached into his jacket and pulled out a bow to play as well.
The first note screeched against William's eardrums, but then the second one rounded out and started to sounded better until it was playing a slow, sad tune. The tone brought William's emotions down, he felt really sad. William looked up to his face and saw it was dark and it had no emotion. At that instant the whole room darkened, almost to pure blackness.
"Now, take over the song from me. I want to feel power. Understood?"
The man with the violin spoke in a very strong commanding voice. His bow picked up speed and the song became very dramatic and out of nowhere other interments could be heard. What was heard by this man was unknown, but William heard one of OWI's slower songs.
"Sing!"
The man stopped making any sound, but the sound he heard was very similar to one of his songs, so he dug deep to try and remember the lyrics. He started playing the song in his head so he could get the rhythm.
He cleared his throat and started to sing in his normal voice, "Don't turn away I pray you've heard The words I've spoken Dare to believe Over one last time Then I'll let the Darkness cover me Deny everything Slowly walk away To breathe again On my own." William stopped and looked back at the man. "How was that?" William asked, his voice quiet.

As the man began to sing, a small light emanated from Grey's own violin, and the youth joined him, matching him carefully, noting the key and being prepared for any changes in pitch. None came, but the lyrics were interesting enough. When they stopped, he eyed this man strangely, and extended a hand, the bow and violin exploding into light and disappearing to the recesses of the jacket.
Secretly, he wondered if this man might be able to learn the death song as he did, or perhaps if he could learn magic Grey could not. It might even be that this man know how to wield instruments like true weapons; something easily tested; but it was a pain for Grey to clean up.
His hand erupted in light, and a long sword and a buckler appeared hovering above. "You'll need these to be a knight. I expect that as my first recruit, you'll be my best. Disappoint me, and I'll simply throw you to the resistance for their training." Grey said, making sure his point was made.
"The Eclipse Knights are currently a sort of mercenary outfit; we assist the Resistance of Isafaro in their plight to liberate it from some sort of authority known as Vulture. Our main focus is infiltration, and also support; our voices enchanted to assist or to debilitate, depending on the situation." Grey told him, his eyes focusing and the sword now hovering to the man's lap. "When you grip this blade, know that it will change to whatever form is truly yours; for mine a scythe, for you something just as unique. You will know us, and be one of us."
Grey said finally, with a small glint of compassion in his eyes; something rare indeed, "Would you now join us? The Order of the Eclipse?"

As William sung, he noticed a light illuminating from this man's violin. It was quite the sight. As they stopped the man looked William up and down again, making him nervous. The man extended a hand, and William, for a second thought it was to shake the man's hand, but then the two item flashed away in a bright light, disappearing from sight.
After a minute of William wondering what they hell was going to happen next, the man's hand erupted in light. A long sword and a buckler appeared just above his hand. William jumped again, because he was not expecting it. I'll need these to be a knight? But I don't even know how to use a sword, or a shield. William thought. Panic in the back of his mind.
I'll need to be your best, huh? Well I assure you, I will be the best I can be." William said this with confidence, he wouldn't let this man down. Besides the guy could play a really good violin. "As I said, sir, I won't let you down."
Mercenaries, huh William thought. "Hopefully people won't join for the thought of money," William said with a slight frown to the thought. Sneaking can be fun, William thought while nodding his head to what the man said.
The sword and buckler now just above William's lap. "It will change? How, interesting," William mumbled to himself.
William looked up at the man, something, some powerful emotion just behind his eyes. Then he asked if he would join this man's order.
"Yes, sir. I pledge myself to serving under you and for this Order," William smiled as he reached out and grabbed the sword and shield. A bright light, a flash really appeared before his eyes. When the light faded the two items were gone.
Nothing seemed to have change, but his arms felt heavier. He grabbed onto his jacket and slid it off his arms to just his shirt. He looked at his wrists and saw two silver cuffs going up to his elbow, in some sort of "Ren" fashion. Then a memory hit him, and he knew where these were from. "These look alot like something off of Assassin's Creed. That is bad-ass!" William said his grin growing bigger.

Grey seemed to approve for only a second, before chuckling and sighing with amusement; something seeming to impress the man. He walked to his poen portal; the great Library beyond, and he seemed to stare at it a while longer, before turning back. "First order, Squire William; enter the Library. You will know fear before you know my home, as this portal is darker than any space you've seen in the sky; it pierces your heart, and tests your own light. I will see you on the other side, and if you don't come, I will drag you myself." He chuckled and offered a quick, proud grin that seemed to mark the occasion as special. he stepped through, darkness swallowing him violently. The dark ominous portal stood, and it's presence was foreboding; even Grey does not know why the portals were like this.
As Grey stepped on the other side, he turned back and waited patiently. He grabbed a book from the nearby shelf, and began to read it fondly. It was large, white, and looked heavy beyond belief; and it was.
"The boy be human...." he said to himself, "Not my first choice for a knight, but it will do."

William looked back and forth from hidden blade to hidden gun, only to look up and see the man chuckling with amusement about him. William blushed a little bit at the embarrassment. The man turned around and stared at a portal in the wall for a few good moments before turning back. Enter a library? Sounds easy enough, William thought to himself.
"What could be so scary about a library?" William inquired. The man took no hestitation to tell him that it will be dark, there will be evil, his "light" will be his only guide. William stood up and grabbed his jacket, as he put it on and fixed the collar he slid the sleeves over his elbows. The man chuckled again before smiling a proud smile. He jumped into the portal and William stood there, in awe. It works, William gulped down.
He took a step toward the portal, "There better be some damn water bottles or water fountain over there, my throat is killing me," William mumbled to no one in particular.
He walked toward the portal and lifted his hand slowly toward the portal. He looked away and waited for some sort of pain. There was no pain as he was sucked into the darkness, but rather an empty feeling took over him. He walked forward and looked around the darkness. He didn't see anything, not even his snow white hair.
He walked for what seemed like forever until he bumped into something. "What the hell?" He moved his hand up to feel the thing. It felt rounded, and strangely hairy. He took a step back and raised his left hand. He tried to fire the weapon, but it didn't work. Well, fuck William thought. He tried his right hand and no bang went off, no scream, no nothing. Except a light a bright light which lasted a few milliseconds. That moment of light let him see what it was.
A giant spider, the size of a school bus. It was hairy, the hair brown. It's face staring into William's soul. William screamed and turned around and ran. He bumped into another hairy thing. He assumed it was another one. He didn't want to know.
He turned 90 degrees to the left and sprinted at full speed until he hit a wall of some sort. William fell down onto his ass. He spun around and started scooting one way or the other. He raised and used his right hand to make a light again. When the light appeared the two spiders had cornered him. The light disappeared and right as he thought he was going to die he felt the wall falter behind him.
He fell backwards into a bright room. He didn't even stand up all the way before shutting the door and falling against it. He looked up and saw the man reading a big, white book.
"What, in, the, hell, was, that! William shouted at the man.

Grey placed the book back, a massive grin on his face. "So how was it?" He asked, smug and somewhat amused. He reached down and pulled the man to his feet, and chuckled. "A fear of spiders.... Really?" Grey laughed almost outright, barely controlling it past light chuckling, obviously seeing the funny side of his little test. "Really?" he asked again, and laughed upright then, barely keeping on his feet. "My, I'll have fun with you, squire William. Now, on to business." Grey voice shifted from joy to pure emotionless; something that seemed to happen often. The whole library suddenly disappeared, replaced by a field of green, a single tree in the distance. The smell of musty books was replaced by flowers of many scents vaguely there, and the sound of wind was powerful, but none could be felt.
Grey pulled out a plank of wood and messed around with it a bit; acting very much childish as he brandished it like a sword. It was quite thick, and long; equal to 3/4 of the man's height. His scythe flashed into view, taller than Grey, and he looked to his new squire.
"If you are to be a knight, you must first be proven. This test is designed to test you in every aspect possible for any kind of mission." Grey stated as he glared icily to his new friend. "Your objective is simple; break this piece of wood into two or more pieces. However, I will personally be defending it; and I want you to do anything and everything you can think of to break this wood." Grey shouted, making sure he was heard. "Trying to kill me would be a good start."
He chuckled, and silently wished he'd been more harsh on the man; gotten him in the mood for murder. But, it was best he simply move on to the matter at hand. Speaking of which, it seemed his apprentice was ready and waiting. "Come on then, we don't have all century!" He called.

William stared at the man as he put the book away with a giant grin on his face. "How was it? It was scarier than hell. I was chased by two giant spiders." William kept trying to catch his breath. The man extended his hand, and William took it and stood up.
"Not my fault that I have arachnophobia." William glared at the man as he tried not to laugh at him. He crosses his arms across his chest and tapped his foot waiting for the man to stop.
"Fun? We have time for that?" Can't I have water? William sighed as he bent his back forward. While he was bent over the ground turned into grass and the everything changed. He stood up and saw that the walls had disappeared and was replaced with a field of tall grass and a single tree.
The man pulled a plank of wood out of nowhere, probably from his coat. He was playing with it, having fun twirling it around. The plank was long, and thick. Then the man's scythe appeared. Great, his scythe versus my hidden blade, William sighed with disappointment.
I must be proven? Great, just perfect. William started stretching his hamstrings. He stretched his arms and his shoulders. "Simple, yes. The steps make this impossible." William reached into his pocket and grabbed his phone and some earphones. He plugged it into the top of his phone. He hit apps and scrolled to Music. Playlist. Rage Songs. 'Down With The Sickness'. He put the ends into his ears and turned the volume all the way up so it was blasting into his ears.
It drowned out all the sound, all he could tell was that he was still talking to William. He pulled one out so he can hear him, but all the heard was "We don't have all century!"
"We don't have all century? I guess I'll just have to whoop your ass faster," William looked to his left wrist and turned a dial to 'Grappling Hook'. This should teach him a lesson. William lunged toward the man and flicked his wrist so the blade came out. He would use the blade to defend from the scythe, but the moment he went to attack William, he would use the grappling hook to destroy the piece of wood.
William silently whispered to himself, "Madness has now come over me!"

Grey saw the grappling hook in slow motion; which for him was far too slow. Shaking his head as he went from normal to close to 500m/h, he walked casually behind the man, and sighed, lightly racing a finger along the line as it slowly advanced to where he was. "Hmm, promising. Good form, but his earphones are blocking sound. Won't be any good if he can't hear what's going on around him." he brought his scythe up lightly and cut the cords rather precisely. Once he was right behind the man whom attempted his assault, he sighed and shook his head, and time, for Grey at least, went back to normal, his speed down to what others called normal. "You're awfully slow. Humans....can't do much with them but use them for meat shields it seems." Grey chuckled. "Tell you what," Grey smirked proudly, "I'll only go a tenth of my speed, and we'll see how you go hmm?" He carefully held the plank and tossed it up, and then balanced it on his foot, which had shot out to catch it behind him. "And this time, a little subtlety might be better, now that you can hear me." He chuckled, and disappeared into the grass, crouching and melding.

William was propelled forward. When he stopped moving his earphones fell out of his ears, he looked down and saw it was a clean cut. What in the hell, William thought as he looked down. He looked back up and he was gone. He spun around to see screwing around with the wood, "Oh, so that's how it's going to be." William's anger grew as he spoke.
"Slow, eh?" William laughed it off. William listened to the boast the man made as he played around with the wood more. Tossing it in the air, just in front of William's face. William listened as the man made his last comment.
William watched as the man turn and ran into the grass. Great, now how I am I supposed to find him. William thought. Following is a waste of time, I might as well just see if I can see the grass move from that tree, William turned about 80 degrees to his left and started sprinting toward the tree.
When he got there he sent the grappling hook up and pulled himself to a good height of the tree. From the height he could see the man running through the grass. He sat down to catch his breath on the tree and watched as he weaved into the grass.
He waited a good 10 minutes for him to stop before he jumped down. As he hit the ground he hit it with a roll then started with a low sprint after the man in a direct course. He pulled the blade into the ready position so it didn't give it away when he was near.
He was near, he couldn't tell, but he just felt it. He stopped moving and held his breath waiting for a noise to tell exactly where he was. This guy is going down, no matter the cost, William left the thought to think in.

Grey noticed the young man use his brain; climbing the only tree to find him. "Ten points to the rookie" he whispered to himself, and chuckled as he stopped and changed course. Seeing his opponents heart beat, he raced quickly; a small but loud sonic boom exploding as he hit mach 1 speeds. He stopped dead behind the man, and the scythe and plank of wood came to the back of his head.
"I suppose you be looking for this?" Grey chuckled. The grass completely disappeared; nowhere to hide now. "Clever, using the tree like that. But you still haven't got it."
Two more Grey's with pieces of wood now came out of no-where, cocky and arrogant, each on taking a line as they spoke. "Now, care to fight against something more than human? I suppose you thought it'd be easy? Boy did you get the wrong idea." They said simply, smiles on their faces, the wood in their hands exactly identical. Scythes appeared in their free hand, and all three assembled.
"I suppose now you're a tad confused. A lot of enemies you might face will gang up on you, or clone themselves instantaneously in battle. A nuisance, but not one that's difficult." The Grey's simultaneously told the man. They all readied their scythes and held the wood aloft; then disappeared. Sonic booms erupted all over the place, and then they reassembled. "Hope you're ready. Block this, or else fail. And die." Grey mused out loud, and then one of the clones rushed forward, the scythe coming for a wide horizontal sweep.
