"This time I was the one who lost control."
Tori was taken aback by those words. Kara was always so careful when it came to her abilities as she didn't want to hurt anybody. Tori naturally assumed that it would mean double for her newly acquired god abilities.
"We were arguing and I just got so angry. I struck her before I could even stop myself."
“Is Utena all right? How badly did you hurt her?”

"I don't know. She ran off before I could get a good look at her." And the Woman of Steel couldn't blame her for running off. Kara wanted to speak with her about it but feared how Utena would react if she saw her again. She figured it was a good idea to let some time pass before talking to her. "I'll assume it wasn't too bad since she was able to get up and run off."

“That's good at least. But what in the world did she say to you to get you so angry in the first place?”

At that question Kara stared down to the floor by her feet and admired the carpet as she spoke. "Chloe and the others felt that we should enlist the help of some 'not so good' people to fight the Netherrealm. I refused and Utena was less than thrilled about it. I know, it's not an excuse for what I did and I'm not saying it is. But that's what led up to it."

“She questioned your authority and you knocked her down a peg.”
Disappointment could be detected in Tori's voice. Though Kara felt guilty about what she did the fact she already sounded like a typical god from a religious textbook didn't sit well with the redhead.
“And just who did they want to recruit that you objected to?”

"You wouldn't know him. His name is Gabriel Lachney, otherwise known as "The Spokesman of Insanity." He's unstable, Tori. Bringing him to battle would be a grave mistake." And so far by what she can see she was the only one who saw that. "Then they wanted to side with Aircano whose High Priestess can summon Aper, the thing that nearly destroyed all of us. I can't allow it, Tori. It's not right."

“How is he unstable?”

“Miracle can summon the Arashi?”
