Outpost {open}

They haven't turned around! Quick! Where can I hide?! He panicked, if either one of them turned around he would be seen. He quickly darted behind some crates to hide but he got up too fast and his blade detached itself again; he didn't fix it properly. His blade was where he was just then before he hid himself.
"Damn..." He whispered watching to see if the pair would check out his blade.
If they even go near that blade then I'll have to show myself. He thought.

[Elena]

"Lighten up, Cris." said Alyssa as she strapped the assault rifle to her back. "Have you any idea how useful a weapon like this would be should we run into trouble?" Cris noted a noise and Alyssa was about to turn around right where Ryan's blade had fallen but before she could the lights in the outpost went red and a loud alert sound went off. "Shit! They must have seen your emptied cell. Come on we have to get out of here!" Without looking back Alyssa led Cris out of the room to continue their way to the exit of the outpost.

[Ayen]

"Lighten up, Cris."

“Don't tell me to lighten up!”

"Have you any idea how useful a weapon like this would be should we run into trouble?"

“Do you have any idea how much they're going to kill us if they catch us with it?”

"Shit! They must have seen your emptied cell. Come on we have to get out of here!"

Cris didn't have to be told twice as she followed Alyssa out of the armory only for guards to run up to them.

“What are you doing?” said Guard #1.

“You aren't allowed to take the Lancer prototype out unless it's a Code Black emergency, soldier!” said Guard #2.

Oh fuck! Oh, fuck!

“Who are you two?”

Before Alyssa could say anything Cris panicked and blew the soldiers away with her energy rifle.

“Oh, fuck!”

Oh this isn't going to end well... Ryan thought as the alarm was activated. "I guess they must of saw those bodies I didn't have time to hide..." He said to himself. "Well, no point in using stealth now!" He said as he stood up and leaped over the crates and reattached his blade properly this time and ran where pair of people he was following. He saw them standing still from shooting that guard so he sprinted inbetween them and pushed them to the sides a little.
As he ran, six guards were heading towards him and opened fire at him immediatley, two bullets hit his shoulder and he flinched but drew out his customised pistol in one hand and drew out his crossbow in the other and fired at all of them, killing four of them, but the last two shot at him again but one missed and and the other hit his right leg.
"Just go and die already..." He said as he used his weapons to take out the last guards, he leaned against the wall with the pain from the bullets coming back to him.
"I'll just... Walk it off..." He stuttered as he limped forward, he was going slow so anybody could catch up to him.

[Elena]

"Goddammit, Cris!" They were in it deep now, it was bad enough the whole outpost was already looking for them but now thanks to Cris they'd have a trail of bodies to follow. Meaning they'd never be able to see if any of the others are being stored away. Alyssa wanted to strangle Cris on sight but there was no time for that as more guards came running towards their position, then some Assassin Creed reject came out of nowhere and started offing them before she or Cris could react. Okay...

"Move it!" Alyssa pushed her hand against Cris to get her moving, bringing her around a corner where they would be intercepted by three more guards in the hallway raising their weapons at them. Alyssa brought up the Lancer and fired several shots into one of the three guards. "Shoot, you idiot!" she yelled at Cris.

[Ayen]

"Goddammit, Cris!"

“I'm sorry. I panicked.”

Cris noticed the guards, and then the other man coming between them to fend the guards off. She was frozen, unable to do anything but stand there being terrified.

"Move it!"

Cris was pushed away from the man in white and the bodies now on the floor as they came around the corner only to run into even more soldiers with guns. Cris watched in horror as the bullets from the Lancer just ripped right through one of them as they fell to the ground laying on top a pool of their own blood.

"Shoot, you idiot!"

But she couldn't.

"Damn it, I have lost the two people I was following..." He then heard gun shots being fired and it sounded close by. He looked up and there appeared to be a large hole in the ceiling so he jumped up and climbed through it.
"Ok, the shots I heard sounded like they came from..." He smashed his foot down breaking the floor beneath him and jumped and killed the last two guards. He got up slowly and looked at the pair.
"Sorry about before..." He said as he put his left hand on his right shoulder which got shot.
"I'd explain where I was but now doesn't look like a really good time.... Shall we go?"

[Elena]

Alyssa yelled out some more profanity before holding the Lancer up at the other two, but as her finger came pulling back on the trigger that man in white reemerged and took the guards out and she had to turn her weapon at the last minute firing off several shots into the wall. "Watch it! I about blew your damn head off!" Alyssa smacked Cris in the back of the head for freezing up from before and turned her attention back to the mysterious man in white. "We're not going anywhere with you. Get out of our way."

[Ayen]

"Sorry about before..."

"Watch it! I about blew your damn head off!"

“I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! Ow!”

Cris held onto the back of her head where Alyssa hit her.

"I'd explain who I was but now doesn't look like a really good time.... Shall we go?"

“Who are you?”

"We're not going anywhere with you. Get out of our way."

“Alyssa!”

"Well fine, if you don't want my help then so be it." He said as he turned his back to them, he walked on, hoping to find a way out.
"Hmph, saved that person from getting shot and that's the thanks I get..." He said a bit out loud.

[Elena]

"Stuff it, Cris. We have things to do." Not giving the man another second of her life Alyssa reached out to grab Cris' hand and pull her back the other direction to get them out of the outpost before they found themselves surrounded by soldiers.

[Ayen]

"Stuff it, Cris. We have things to do."

“No!”

Cris pulled away from Alyssa's grip and ran off to catch up with the man in white.

“Hey, wait up!”

She took a minute to catch her breath before continuing.

“Thank you for saving us. Are you all right? You look hurt.”

[Elena]

Before the man would have a chance to answer Alyssa grabbed Cris by the wrist and dragged her away. "Did you think I was joking? Come on!" Alyssa didn't give Cris much time to struggle as she threw her straight into the line of in-coming fire. Although none of the bullets would hit thanks to cover fire by Alyssa but it was the thought that counted. And the thought was GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER! Alyssa led Cris out of the outpost, firing a path through soldiers that were trying to cut them down and escaping into the city. Once again they had managed to escape certain death. On the other hand...

The real battle was only beginning.
