Outpost {open}

[Elena]

Alyssa was separated from her friends and stuck in a holding cell in one of the many outposts in the city after being arrested, the memory of people she knew for three years being ripped through with bullets still playing through her mind as she unleashed her anger against the inside of the cell door. The guard didn't like that one bit so she took an electric baton to the face and the next thing she knew it was lights out.

She awoke to the sound of screaming and gunfire and then the sound of slow approaching footsteps as the same guard who knocked her out cold was now limping to her cell door seriously injured as he unlocked the holding cell door and let her out, now walking over to the nearby table and leaning back in the chair. "Go ahead," the man said. "You're free to go. Stay here and you'll die."

Alyssa stepped out of the cell door and looked down to the table that now had a modified Glock 17 with an extra clip and the electric baton on it. "Why are you doing this?" she asked. "I'm as good as dead," replied the soldier. "May as well score some points with the big man upstairs before I kick the bucket." Alyssa picked up the Glock and unloaded it, looking over the bullets to see they were made of pure silver. "What the fuck have you guys been fighting? Werewolves?" "You have no idea." The man fell asleep before he could say more. Searching his pockets Alyssa found a pack of cigarettes he was holding out on.

Pulling out a cigarette she ran it against the pack, failing to light it the first two times and finally getting it on the third she put it in her mouth and enjoyed a smoke. Reloading the Glock she equipped the weapons the soldier now no longer needed and left the room. Heading through the main entrance of the outpost to find a pile of bodies laying outside all wearing the Vulture insignia. "Whoever did this, remind me to send them a postcard."

[Aminee Starlight]

The Pop Idol covered a hand over her mouth as her eyes looked down upon the many bodies of soldiers that were now dead. Many of them ripped apart. She had heard reports of a man with creatures similar but not exactly to the ones that could be summoned by the man called Alucard who Kragen, Garrus and Imai had encountered months previously. Whether or not this was the same man doing this remained to be seen. They knew Alucard weren't on their side regardless of his current mission, whatever that may be, against the Vulture. Maybe this new man would be different and leave them alone. Maybe he'd be worse. It was too early to tell.

Right now she wanted to get the hell out of here and back to the base but before she turned she saw something out of the corner of her eye. Turning around, the Pop Idol saw a woman up ahead walking over the bodies of dead soldiers. Seeing nothing that immediately shouted danger, Aminee walked over to her, bringing up her arms and waving them to get the woman's attention. "Hey! Hey! Are you all right?"

[Elena]

Alyssa removed the cigarette from her mouth and blew smoke into the cold night's air to her side while looking out to see some broad screaming and hollering her way while waving her arms back and forth giving away both their positions. "Dumbass." Alyssa didn't move however, she stayed where she was standing and allowed the stranger to approach her. Putting the cigarette back into her mouth before answering. "Am I all right?" Alyssa kicked one of the bodies on the ground. "I'm still breathing, aren't I?"

Alyssa started walking, not content with standing there and talking amongst a bunch of dead soldiers when reinforcement was bound to arrive any second and have this place closed off where travel would be impossible. "Do you make it a custom to scream and holler to every Jack and Jill you see on the road? That's a good way to get yourself shot."

[Aminee Starlight]

Aminee could have done without being reminded of the corpses surrounding them both but not a lot she could do about that. As Alyssa started walking the Pop Idol decided to follow and was caught off guard by her question, feeling embarrassed now as looking back she could see how foolish she has been with her way of grabbing the woman's attention. "No. It's not a custom thankfully. I just wanted to grab your attention and that was the first thing that came to mind. My name is Aminee, what's yours?"

[Elena]

"None ya." Alyssa answered while leaving the Isafaro's outpost and sticking to the side of the alleyways where there were less sentries present. She needed to find the whereabouts of her friends and lose the brunette that decided to tag along. "You have my attention now get to the point; what do you want?"

[Aminee Starlight]

"None ya?" As the Pop Idol continued to follow Alyssa pass the alleyways she was beginning to suspect the woman was anti-social and the woman would further enforce those beliefs with what she said next. "I only wanted to make sure you were all right. You were surrounded by bodies after all. Do you have any idea who or what caused all of that?"

[Elena]

"None ya damn business." Alyssa wasn't going to share her name. She preferred to be incognito; no name, no fingerprints and no identification of any kind. Just a description that fit the bill with several women. That's all most remember her by before they never saw her again.

"I don't know and as long as they stick with killing Vulture's soldiers I don't care." General Vulture was a bastard and as far as she was concerned those that worked for him willingly was just as bad as he. I was just following orders has been used too much in history to justify countless catastrophes throughout time and it didn't sit well with her or her crew. Vulture and his men could go to hell.

[Aminee Starlight]

"Okay..." If the woman didn't want to give her name that was just fine. Her right. And as she expected the woman was none the wiser to what caused all that destruction back there than she was which only made her worry more. Perhaps the people back at the resistance base would know something. Speaking of which, "Do you have any place to stay? I know a place where you can hang your head for a while. It's in a secured location so there's no worry of Isafaro's troops storming it."

[Elena]

"No such thing as a secured location." Alyssa turned at the end of the alleyways on this street and saw several soldiers blocking the path up ahead to the next outpost that was still several miles away. Grabbing Aminee by the arm she quickly pulled them both into the next alley to avoid the search lights in the area, releasing her hold on the woman as she pressed up to the end of the wall and peered around the corner seeing a manhole a few feet away. Removing the cigarette from her mouth for a second time she blew the smoke forward and looked back at Aminee. "I'm taking the sewers. Still want to follow me?"

[Aminee Starlight]

Aminee would have protested that but then she remembered the most recent hacking of the Isafaro resistance base and chose to keep her mouth shut. The Pop Idol didn't even get to see the soldiers up ahead after coming around the corner before she was pulled into an alley. "What is it?" Aminee winkled her nose a bit when Alyssa talked about going into the sewers. "Why would you want to go down there? Where is it exactly are you headed? Maybe I can help."

[Elena]

"None ya." Alyss said again, putting the cigarette back into her mouth and heading out of the alleyway. "And I doubt it." When the soldiers backs were turned, Alyssa made a run for the manhole, quietly and quickly opening up the lid and descending down to the ladder underneath. Reclosing the manhole lid, Alyssa climbed down the ladder and began walking through the sewers.

[Aminee Starlight]

Aminee was starting to grow frustrated with this woman but she didn't feel right about just leaving her to wander alone in the sewers. The first chance she got to make a run for it, the Pop Idol did so and entered into the sewers immediately covering her nose as the awful smell hit her hard. Her skin crawling at the mere sight of everything. Quite franakly the woman was spoiled and used to everything being clean. She couldn't even stand to look at a little garbage on the sidewalk. The sewer water were basically infested with garbage and other things recently flushed. Aminee would find Alyssa and speak up to get her attention. "Hey! If you think you can just ditch me you have another thing coming."

[Elena]

Alyssa heard something down in one of the sewer tunnels and drew her electric baton, removing the cigarette and blowing out the smoke before placing it in her shirt's front pocket. The last thing she needed was to accidentally drop a lit cigarette into all this sewage. As she began to advance towards the sound, Aminee's voice would turn her back around shooting a glare at her. "Shut up!" It was too late. The creature down the tunnel had heard them and charged towards Alyssa, a mutated lizard creature that walked on hind legs like a man and swung it claws at the woman. Alyssa ducked under the swing of its claw and sent five million volts of electricity into the creature's face. "Run!"

[Aminee Starlight]

At first Aminee was offended at being told to shut up but when she saw the mutated lizard creature charge for Alyssa the Pop Idol was starting to regret talking so loudly but she would not leave Alyssa behind. Drawing her own Glock from her holster, Aminee fired off two shots into the head of the lizard, after being electrocuted. "We stick together. Come on!"

[Elena]

"Wasteful." Alyssa turned back around and ran out of the tunnel and into one of the many others with Aminee by her side. More growls could be heard coming from behind them in unison. It was hard to determine how many were there but Alyssa could guess that there were more than either of them had the bullets to take out. "Shit! Keep running!"
