I do not work to destroy the world, but simply rebuild it... but first I must have my heart back.", He said with his voice booming to where she could hear, so that all of them could hear. He did not lie of course, he had no heart, nor did any other Nobody.
That is what made the different from the others, the fact they had no heart, and every... single one... right down to the lowest Dusk, wanted it back. "I will do... whatever it takes to get my heart back... to get back all Nobodies' hearts back.", again he didn't lie, nor did he need to. If this... Goddess refused to accept his help, then he would simply have to hinder their defense. Either way, a calm was needed in order to create Kingdom Hearts.

He was somewhat surprised about her answer, as logical as it could have seemed. They wouldn't have to keep watch on him for anything suspicious. Then again... 'Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.' They could have kept him from doing anything to hinder them if they kept him with them. But Maelys was not about to question the goddesses judgement.

He whirled to face the man, lashing back with anger in his tone. "By the logic you seem to speak by, to rebuild the world, it would first have to be cleansed of those with hearts, or in other words destroyed, something you aren't letting on. Your power is a dark one, and I can see no light in it. The goddess has given you her answer. We do not need you. You are no longer welcome here." He turned around and followed the goddess, his eyes closed, watching the dark man through his Energy Sight. If he attacks, I will require my Spirit Light form... Better be ready to cast Lifeshield as well... From the front, Maelys was visibly tensing for a reaction from the dark man, though nothing of that could be seen from behind him.

Xemnas wouldn't be the only one to get worked up, Utena was already livid by Kara's refusal to accept help from others in order to fight back against the overwhelming threat that the Netherrealm posed.
"Here we are practically being handed an ally and you throw it away because he doesn't fit your definition? How do you expect to save Genesis if you're unwilling to compromise even the slightest?"

If he had a heart, he wouldn't be able to keep himself from smiling. This gave him more opportunity than hindrance. Why they fight this war, he could create Kingdom Hearts. What a great place to do so than the Downward Spiral, where the dimensions opened themselves to this world. Hearts from all across the Universe would supply Kingdom Hearts, meaning Xemnas would get exactly what he wanted fast. He simply turned without a word more and created a corridor of darkness around himself and left to go elsewhere. ___________________________________________________________________________ November Among the group of refugees, walked November as he watched the Goddess and the others conversed. He noticed the man in the black cloak and how he spoke without emotion and shivered. He sensed that the man was human... but not quite. The man lacked... a soul. It was as if only his mind occupied that shell of a body. Poor man... but things happen for a reason. With the man gone he turned his attention to the Goddess who was walking away. He knew she was a Goddess from what he sensed from her. It was too hard for him to put to words, but he simply knew. His anxiety was great because of this, almost to the point of him running up to her to get a better look. The sound of something heavy hitting the ground. When he looked to see, he saw a tired man struggle to pick up a bag he had dropped. November tilted his hat over his dimly glowing eyes before leaning over to pick up the bag effortlessly and give it to him. However he did not release until the man had it secure but did once he did. The group left him behind after this, and November simply stood there examining the ones around the Goddess. Athena always knew when he was this close.... making him wonder if this one knew he was here. Perhaps not as they were from different dimensions, but his charge still stood. He began his walk toward them nervously for he did not know how she would react. Everything could go right... yet... it could go so wrong. |

"I don't want to hear it, Utena. I made up my mind!" Kara was putting her foot down, well more like stomping her foot into the ground but whatever. She had enough with everyone questioning her decision, especially when it came to evil people trying to join their sides. At the very least Xemnas left without incident and she could worry about him later. "End of discussion."

If Kara wanted to put her foot down that was fine, Utena was going to put her foot down as well. She wasn't going to stand by and watch everything she's actually gain here crumble to pieces because a friend turned god lost her head and stopped listening to her friends. Utena got up within arm's reach of Kara before continuing.
"Just because you're a god now doesn't mean you can just brush us aside and do whatever the hell you want! Your actions still have consequences and if you can't see that then you're a damn fool!"

What a fool, he thinks his power is enough to defy destiny...He does seem to emit quite the dark aura..... Eheheh, wonder if I could use him for my own schemes...Not the time, Rosada... We're not here to find another one of your world darkness schemes... Last time I checked, my mind was not a soap opera... How he put up with them he knew not...
He turned to the younger woman the goddess had been talking to. So this goddess has only recently become one... I worry for the sanity of whatever force resides here that it gives out the power to alter its world... "I understand your side in this, young one, however there are some people in this world that would do more harm than aid us. That man was dangerous, his aura held nothing but ill-intent... Perhaps one day you may learn to trust your friends judgement." He turned back to watch the direction in which the refugees came, watching for any pursuing enemies, but also watching for two others in particular...

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Thunder crashed at the sound of her voice and before she could stop herself she had struck Utena with the back of her hand with enough force to send her falling for the ground. Kara's eyes widened as she stood there in shock at what she had just done. Anger overtaking and consuming her before she was able to stop herself. "Utena... I-I'm sorry, Utena!"

Spit came out of Utena's mouth when Kara's hand connected with her face, causing her to fall against the ground beneath her feet as she placed a hand on the spot of her cheek that Kara had stuck. A red hand print clearly visible as Utena looked up to the Woman of Steel in shock at what just happened. Utena scooted away from Kara while still on the ground and still holding her hurt cheek before finally getting up to her feet.

Kara covered her mouth. Still not believing she had struck one of her friends. She never done anything like this before. She's never lost control and hit a friend. What was happening to her? "Utena I didn't mean to-- Are you all right?" Kara took a step forward and reached out for Utena.

"Stay away!"
Utena backed away quickly, nearly falling onto the ground a second time but being able to keep her balance to keep from hitting the ground again.
"Just stay away from me!"
Utena turned around and ran into one of the nearby taverns wanting nothing to do with Superwoman or the castle she was using as a base during their time here. She just wanted to get away from her for as long as possible.

"Utena, I'm sorry! Utena!" Kara wanted nothing more than to go after her but she knew that could only lead to disaster. If she could so easily break down and strike a friend like that then what else could she do? She had to console with the Creator before anything else happened. Looking over to Maelys she spoke, "I-I have to go for a bit. I'll be back to help prepare for the attack on Jherrazad." And with that the Woman of Steel took off into the air and into the distance until she was nothing but a blimp.
