"That's enough, Utena!" shouted Kara. No one has doubted her before so she couldn't understand why everybody was starting to doubt her now. Had they lost faith already due to the recent defeat? Kara would have to address it later, for now there were other things to tend to but those things would be postponed as more people showed up. Kara only smiled towards Cirno but that smile soon faded when she saw the boy come up. "You can drop the act," said the goddess after a moment of silence. "I know you're not a child."

[Light Shock: 2]
He was somewhat hoping the woman would be able to detect him, but the chill that crept up his spine was, as it had always been, involuntary, when someone figured out his guise. He turned away from the group, glancing at Cirno just before he did, suspecting the self-proclaimed fairy with wings of ice to be behind the recent drop in temperature. "..... Then it seems my initial reading of your power is proven correct..." He toyed with his wand, waving it around in front of him.
"Don't worry, I am not here to attack... you very well could possess the same amount of power as I do..." He finally turned back to the group, his blue eyes now a hue lighter. The wand suddenly disappeared into thin air in a puff of what looked like black smoke. "I am here as an envoy of the gods... Not your gods, but those of my own world." He glanced around at the group, noting that the woman was the only one that illuminated his other 'sight'. None of the others possessed nearly as much power as her.
You would best reveal to them your intentions, see if they would trust you... Agreed... "When they had sent me to this world, it had not been because of this recent attack, however when this attack had occurred, priorities took place. I have been instructed to aid you in repelling this desecration of nature." Perhaps she cannot read minds... One could never be sure if the powerful always possess that power... I don't know, she looks pretty damn powerful, ohai there powerful woman, me and my friend here are just a couple of spirits hanging out in this man's soul.[/u] Luckily for Maelys' sanity, he was able to keep a straight face despite the ongoing argument in his mind between Rosada and Randura. "Will you accept my help or does this form allude far too little power for you to accept?"

"How interesting is this...", Xemnas started as he exited a corridor of darkness, his primary mode of transportation. He had been observing this meeting but he had waited for a right time to intervene, "... that a servent of the gods and a goddess herself from different worlds should meet here of all places.", Xemnas continued in his deep emotionless voice. Due to recent phenomena, endless worlds have been unlocked, giving Xemnas the opportunity he has only thought of.
"But then again... with all these worlds now unlocked... a meeting like this has more likely already happened... meaning this event is even so less interesting.", Xemnas implied as he removed his hood, revealing his white hair and Orange eyes. His movements were slow-like, and non-threatening. There would be time for destruction later when Xemnas achieves his goal. "You and I, Goddess, are not much different and yet.... we differ greatly."

"Why can't a child ever be just a child," said Utena under her breath. As if the universes couldn't help but just pile on one thing after another, Utena spotted a corridor of darkness open up near their position and close behind another entry into Jherrazad. Some man that was now addressing the group, well Superwoman and the boy more like but details details. A one on one chat was becoming less and less likely as time went on. "I'm sorry who are you?"

Xemnas didn't bother facing her and simply said with an uninteresting and bored voice, "My name no significant importance to you ." He wouldn't give out his identity yet, not until he obtained more useful information. After all, he would eventually get what he wanted.even if he didn't get it soon he can still wait. There were so many worlds now opened, and now those worlds had several variations from each other meaning one of them was bound to have Kingdom Hearts in one of them, and all he had to do was draw it here.

Cirno was at first confused when Kara thought Maelys wasn't a child. Perhaps it was her own experience, but just because you look like a small child doesn't mean you're powerless. Of course, with Maelys, he apparently wasn't a child.
Listening to Maelys, she paid attention to his story... servant of the gods... Cirno had only one thing to ask "... So you're a Shrine Maiden?" she asked, forgetting the fact that Maelys was a boy, and thus not qualified for the 'maiden' portion of that.
Then Xenmas appeared, his dark portal left Cirno... unimpressed. Gensokyoan power wasn't weak overall, and having faced down Marissa's Master Spark technique several times, she wasn't easily impressed by magic.
However, she sorta wanted to know his name "Alright, here's the deal No Name person. I, the great Cirno, freezer of crybabies, and the strongest fairy in all Gensokyo, will tell you my name if you tell me your name. Otherwise... I will be forced to call you Mr.Noodlepants until you tell me your name."
Yes, Cirno was a complete idiot.

Kara didn't even get a chance to respond to Maelys before Xemnas stepped onto the scene, quite literally from a corridor of darkness and began speaking to the group. "Okay, a piece of advice? Corridor of darkness not exactly subtle." Kara put herself between Xemnas and the others, that way if he tried anything she could protect them. "What do you want?"

"What does anybody want? What do you want? What do they want? Everyone has lost something. I'm just getting what's mine... back.", he started as he looked over the rest of them. he imagined them without hearts, and knew if they ever became a Nobody, they too would seek out their hearts. It was a... hopeless endeavor. "Everyone has some darkness inside their hearts... no matter how minimal. Even if it should be a Goddess. You will be the one to attract the Heartless into this world of ever brewing chaos.", he continued with an emotionless laugh. These people didn't know he didn't have a heart. But he could convince them otherwise until then.

So the woman herself was a goddess... That would explain the radiant aura that he saw. As for the man, he saw something different. He exuded a large radiant aura as well, however this one was pitch black. The riddles that the man spoke were pointless to Maelys, meant nothing to him, and he was going to wait for the man to finish his speech before making any move. Maelys moved slightly so that he was beside the goddess, barring the man from the others, Cirno included. He glanced back at Cirno and smiled. "I protect the temple of The gods of my homeworld, if that is what you mean..."
He turned back to the dark man and his smile vanished. "... It is true that all beings possess a bit of darkness in their heart... but it is what balances them, gives them purpose... man's natural state is not peace but war..." The wand reappeared in his hand, but he made no gesture of aiming it. He instead held it up in front of him, and two orbs of energy, one of Light and one of Dark, began orbiting the tip of the wand. "Light and Darkness balance each other. Without Light, there can be no shadow, and without darkness there is no need for light."

"Very good, you don't miss a thing. Answer this though: What about us who teeter on the edge of nothing, rejected from both light and dark... never given a choice.", He said with his face and hand gestures reflected sorrow that did not exist within Xemnas. In fact.. nothing existed inside Xemnas. Xemnas had no heart... no soul, but only his mind and shell of a body left. In a way.... Xemnas did not exist.

Something about what the man had been saying didn't sit right, with Maelys. The man spoke about Heartless and the goddess bringing them as if she were a tool, then seems to be sorrowful. This one he would have to keep a careful eye on. Heartless was a term he felt he had heard somewhere, but couldn't quite remember. At any rate, the man seemed like he was attempting to feign sorrow. He glared at the man and swiftly brought his wand to his side, causing the wisps of Light and Darkness to puff out of existence. "You speak of Heartless and the goddess as if she were a tool, and then you feign sorrow? If destiny has chosen for you to be rejected by Light and Darkness, then so be it."
Maelys held his left hand, the one not holding the wand, up to the left side of his neck. Unbeknownst to the others, he was checking a certain power of his that he may need soon. It had enough charge to perform its action, So Maelys had no need to worry.

"Heartless?" This guy wasn't making any sense and he was dodging questions in the most annoying way possible. Here they were preparing for the inevitable demon attack and now not one, but two mystery men were talking about things unrelated right in front of them. "Okay, listen, I'm sure this is all very exciting but we have problems of our own you know. Look up. See the blood red sky? That's hell merging with this realm so unless you're here to help you can just walk right on back through that corridor of darkness and leave us be. Thanks."

"Hell? hmmm......", Hell merging with this realm could put him in a predicament. It would be extremely difficult to rewrite Hell, if possible at all. This would leave him with no other choice but to fight back against hell and push it back. Afterwards all would go to plan.
"I will.... lend to you the assistance of my race... and myself as well, unless the Goddess objects. I don't think she will however, it seems like a... serious... threat."

[Maelys- Innocence form]
"See the blood red sky? That's hell merging with this realm so unless you're here to help you can just walk right on back through that corridor of darkness and leave us be. Thanks."
So this strange feeling I'm getting from the very air... guess that's it...The child closed his eyes, listening to the dark man finish his speech.
"Hell? hmmm...... I will.... lend to you the assistance of my race... and myself as well, unless the Goddess objects. I don't think she will however, it seems like a... serious... threat.
The child opened his eyes, glancing back at the man. Perhaps we can use this man... still need to keep a careful eye on him... "Then it seems we are partners... for now..." Maelys abruptly walked away from the small group to see the full size of the entire group of refugees. They didn't number very many, at the most 30. Wonder how many people helped to defend them on their way out... A thought crossed his mind. She is here... A reverberation of energy, though a small one, could be felt around Maelys, for a few seconds, then it suddenly ceased. He turned back to the smaller group where the goddess and the dark man stood. They will likely take awhile... probably should introduce myself...
"I am known as Maelstrom... Or to those who prefer a shorter word, Maelys."

"No." This would come as no surprise to Utena but she was sure the response would surprise those already ready to compromise working with someone they didn't trust. Kara on the other hand would still refuse. "I know what's in your heart and I want nothing to do with it. Leave." Kara turned around and began to head back to the castle motioning for Utena and Maelys to follow.
