Anderson had spent the last two weeks evading Saibot through a good number of holy incantations. He was laying low and protecting the girls he pulled out of Moon Valley as he entered Hallowton. Even now it wasn't time to lower his guard in the event that Saibot instantly found way to track him in another way.
Even now, Anderson figured he was in the clear of being tracked down. In the event that he was mistaken, he was fairly sure he could smite his enemy down in the streets and even set holy flame upon whom ever stepped before him. It was in his best interest to avoid the others for now, just in case. In the end he would regroup with those who fought in Moon Valley, but first he had to put the girls in a safe place.
By the looks of Hallowton a war had raged here. Even though the majority of the town was in tact, there was still a lack of people on the streets in the middle of the day. He checked the girls in to a hotel nodding to the girl who he met on arrival to the realm before simply saying, "Yeh'll be fine here. I must separate myself from th' both o' ya just in case. When this is over, ah'll be coming back for you both."
---
An hour would pass and Anderson found himself on the other side of town resting his feet on the cobblestone road with himself sitting on a crate. He took the time to catch up on missed reading from the bible of prophecies, in it he was learning of recent events and the war that happened here in Hallowton.
He would learn about Sparda, Raal, Arix, Rowan, The Queen, and many others and their success in pushing back the General. On the other hand, he was learning about a holy war on another part of the continent. Anderson closed the book and stood up walking from out of the shade and looking up to the castle.
"A fine day."

The Mark VII wrapped around him quickly as he traveled through the portal, activating the repulsors to grant himself more mobility as JARVIS came online.
"This portal is unstable, Mr. Stark. Conditions are growing disastrous."
"Just hold on a little longer."
"To your right!"
Stark moved to the left, evading a violent burst that came from within the portal as he saw the end on the other side, collapsing. Adding powers to thrusters he managed to get out on the other side before the portal collapsed and found himself surrounded by red sky as he brought his way down to the city below.
"It's another mech! Get inside!"
Stark could hear shouting down below as the few people who were out on the road was already rushing back inside as they thought another invasion was already starting. He touched down on the ground and his helmet came over to reveal the man inside.
"We're not in Kansas anymore, JARVIS."
"We never were in Kansas, sir."
"Figure of speech, JARVIS."
Moving forward Stark undressed out of the armor and kept the pod close by as he walked over to one of the townspeople.
"Hey! Can you tell me--"
But that person ran back inside his house before he could finish his sentence.
"Where I am... Is there something on my face?"
"Perhaps the falling from the sky is what set them off."
"Hardly my fault-- Hey, you over there."
He approached Anderson, hands in the air to show that he wasn't a threat.
"I come in peace. Tony Stark, you've no doubt heard of me. Tell me, friend, where am I? England, France, Germany?"

Anderson looked from the sky to the man approaching with his hands in the air like a goon. He furrowed his brow slightly saying, "The hell..." He had seen stranger things in his time but this man acted like he was talking to an alien. "Put yer hands down lad. Ya look stupid walkin' aboot like that."
"Dunno who ya are. But'yer no where near the planet Earth at all. Welcome t' Genesis," the man standing before Stark was clearly Scottish, he wasn't any more part of this planet than Tony himself, that was the only common thing between them. Aside from that, his flashy entrance didn't help anything but scare the folks of the town away after they had suffered such a tragic scare of war against their entire city.

"Genesis?"
The portal took him farther than he had thought. He lowered his hands and looked around, the castle nearby catching his attention as he spotted guards watching him from one of the windows. They definitely weren't in Kansas anymore, the city itself looked like late 19th Century England and as if hell itself marched through its walls.
"I'm going to need a quick rundown of the place, namely somewhere I can hang my head before the angry mob with pitch forks and torches run me out."

"I know little o' this place."
Anderson crossed his arms and turned toward Tony completely. He motioned for Stark to follow him to the shade, given the heat outside and that he was wearing a long preachers coat he didn't much enjoy the scolding weather. He sat down leaving enough room if Tony decided to as well.
"What I do know. In th' south Moon Valley is overran with th' Netherrealm army. North West, Isafaro is ran by a highly technological dictatorship. Yer standin' a war torn city, even if it doesn' look like it. Isafaro attacked 'ere recently. An' that's aboot all I know."

"That would explain the civilians negative responses towards you, sir."
"Yeah, I figured that. Netherrealm?"
"Another name for hell, sir."
"I know what it means I've played Mortal Kombat."
Just great. Of all the places for that portal to land it crashes him in the middle of a war zone where the nearest advanced technology is owned by a dictator and yet another invasion force is fast approaching. Never a dull moment for one Tony Stark.
"I don't suppose you'd know more about the manner in which we were brought here. Get sucked through a small hole--? Portal. Get sucked through a portal?"

Anderson shrugged at him. He only knew how he got here, and that was, "I went t' war against Lucifer himself, killed em but died to my own wounds, an' woke up in a bed in Moon Valley." He had heard similar stories to Starks, but there were many different variations.
"A lad o' mine from th' church in my realm was transported 'ere by the very word of god. Perhaps you might wanna start there."

"Lucifer, right."
A couple of years ago Tony would have shrugged that off but after taking on a Thunder god and his evil brother with the silly names anything was possible and if a prolonged stay meant demon invasion, well then...
"And who would be leading the Netherrealm army here? Lucifer five point O?"
After the preist mentioned a friend of his Tony took another look around the city, so far no angry villagers. Good.
"Where is he now?"

"Eh, some red headed woman. Ah think the demons called her Ranko. But she has a number two, a bald headed bastad who just sat there lazily throwing troops at us."
Anderson waved it off. He leaned forward resting his elbows on his knees for a brief second before leaning back again, "He would be 'ere somewhere. Not certain but th' pages have sent me 'ere and his trail begins and ends 'ere."

The answer on who was leading the demon army wasn't what he was expecting. A woman who sounded Japanese and some bald headed guy who was lazy. As he was chewing that over Anderson said something that caught his attention.
"Pages?"
Tony looked down to the bible in his possession before looking back up to the priest.
"The pages sent you here?"
Why did he always run into the weirdos?

"Aye, faith has it's way t' guide those t' places where they are most needed. An' this place is needin' a little faith itself," Anderson smiled slightly. He removed his glasses and took a cloth from his pocket wiping them down.
"I take it yer a man of little faith beyond your own persona?"

"I have faith. Faith in things I can see, touch, smell..."
And last he checked a god couldn't give you any of that while having the maturity of a five year old, but who's keeping track?
"What this place needs is a construction crew. What's the deal here anyways, if technology exists why is everything backwards?"

"It's no' about seeing, nor believing, but feeling."
Anderson shrugged at him, he didn't know any more than Stark knew. "A sense of nobility perhaps? Or maybe they choose to live in easier times like those in third rate countries. They have all the technology but none of th' willpower."

((Sorry. Things came up on my end that kept me away.))
"Nothing noble about halting progress."
Tony turned around and decided it was time to find that man Anderson was telling him about. Even if the townspeople were too afraid to talk to him he was sure if he scouted around long enough he could find him. This city didn't look to be that large.
"Thanks for the help. I'll be going to find your friend now."
