[Jehanne]

Jehanne stepped aside as Miracle ordered and it would later prove to be the biggest mistake of her life as she watched Sincara aim the weapon at the now open target that was the High Priestess. Jehanne threw herself into the path of the bullet but she was too late, the bullet passed her and continued to Miracle causing her to panic as she turned over to face Miracle's position.

[Miracle]

Miracle was unable to bring up her staff in time, the bullet collided into her heart and her body fell back into the entrance of the church as blood stained and tainted the holy grounds of God's temple; his anointed slid down the entrance, the life in her eyes fading away while more blood flowed down from the wound.

[Sincara]

Sincara just stared at the corpse.

"Get up!"

Not convinced at all that the High Priestess was truly dead or that God or the Second Aspect would allow her to be dead. Though she was unaware of the latest development of the former the latter was still very much a factor when it came to the child bleeding out at the doorway.

"Do you want to die? I said get up!"

[Jehanne]

"MIRACLE!"

Jehanne ran over to the High Priestess' side and knelt down by her, shaking her in the hopes that the child would produce yet another miraculous recovery but there was nothing. Nothing but a fresh corpse and blood as angry tearful eyes looked back at Sincara.

"You killed her!"

[Solomon]

Solomon had dealt with lighting-quick enemies before. Timing this just right, the General was able to jump out of the way of Sebastion's path causing the Reaper to crash head first into the stairs as Solomon was now on the ground. His eyes would return to the holy temple at the gunshot from inside. "Miracle!" Abandoning his fight with Sebastion, Solomon hurried for the back entrance of the temple.

Sebastion's shield crumbled as he hit the stones and created a small crater on impact; but he himself was, while a little dazed, unharmed. Flying up, he heard the gunshot; and saw Solomon rushing back within the temple.
"Come back you coward! You haven't apologized for your 'sins' against me!" he called to the rushing human, and then lightly reached for his chest, remembering his lack of a top. Grinning, he also remembered the ladies heading inside to fight one another.
I wonder how the little one was going? Revenge and salvation..... I always doubted the two being linked. Maybe these people would be kind enough to elaborate....

Sebastion's uniform seemed to repair itself around his torso, all the threads resealing and covering up the strange marks all over his body. He flew quickly, and tapped Solomon on the shoulder before un-summoning his scythe and grinning.
"We'll fight later, alright?" He said as he hit the ground, and ran alongside the holy knight. His cheeky grin went faint and weak as he saw Miracle lying on the floor.
Doesn't look like she's . . . breathing. A waste of a good life, really. He quietly thought to himself.
Even he was a little intimidated by the sight of the seemingly dead woman.
"Sir Solomon, was it? May this be a cruel lesson; had you not have judged and condemned me on sight, I'd have had no quarrel with you; and you could have saved her." He seemed to say under breath. Shaking his head, he walked slowly over to the side to one of the massive pillars.

"Lady Janus, have you achieved what you came here to do?" He asked rather loudly, directing his attention her way. His face gave no signs of cheerful innocence as it did outside; now it was a dreadful, rather serious expression that befitted the current scene.

"Death to the Prophet, for lies are told through words of 'Gods' and 'Holy Powers' . . . perhaps the Eclipse scriptures are correct; religion causes only pain at the end of false hope.

[Miracle]

Those paying attention would see movement on the wall behind Miracle's corpse, a shadow moving, arms spread out and swords out stretched as bright blue glowing eyes shinned from the walls of the holy temple. Sincara would get exactly what she has been asking for, an audience with the Second Aspect, Aper.

The bullet was pushed out of the wound and fell onto the floor seconds before Miracle's eyes opened, returning to consciousness and getting back up to her feet. Lifting up her right arm, Aper did so soon after and then both swung down their arm simultaneously unleashing an unstoppable horizontal line towards Sincara, threatening to cut her in two.

[Sincara]

Sincara said nothing to Sebastion or anyone else inside the church, her eyes never leaving the High Priestess for a moment as she kept her weapon at the ready still. The reason for this would become known shortly as Miracle's eyes opened and she revived from the shot to the heart no thanks to the shadow now emerging from the wall. Alas Sincara has come face to face with her family's killer.

His greeting was exactly as she would have expected, meant to kill her. Sincara jumped up, forward and twisted her body around the horizontal line, causing it to slice right through the altar as the wall behind her collapsed upon a safe landing. The Six Shooter aimed at the Aircano people that stood before her.

"Will you desolate your own city again just to be rid of me?"

[Miracle]

The ink black tendrils of the Second Aspect surrounded Sincara's position, closing in like moving walls that were too high to jump and impossible to climb as Aper came down to crash into Sincara's from the entrance above.

[Solomon]

Solomon entered the temple just in time to see Miracle come back to life and for the summoning of the Second Aspect Aper. "Miracle, stop!" yelled Solomon as the Arashi's presence covered the temple and weighed down heavily on those beneath it. "Quickly! Call it back before it's too late!"

[Sincara]

Sincara blew a hole through the tendrils and leaped through them before they had a chance to regenerate. She emerged on the other side of the temple where Miracle and Jehanne stood by the entrance and aimed the Six Shooter for Miracle's head.

"Freak!"

And fired.

[Jehanne]

Jehanne's body froze in fear when she saw the face of the Arashi that destroyed her home one year ago. It was every bit as terrifying now as it was then, and the fact Miracle had lost herself in its presence only made matters worse. However, as terrified as she were, Jehanne wasn't so far gone that she was useless. When Sincara aimed her weapon towards the High Priestess a second time, she jumped into the way and the bullet hit her chest plate, sending her falling back right into Miracle.

[Miracle]

Miracle was too far gone to be reasoned with now. Aper reappeared in front of Sincara and brought down his dual blades to slice through her flesh as the tendrils moved within the holy temple, covering the windows and blocking all the exits so there would be no escape for the insubordinate.

Sebastion saw this full attack by some manner of demon he had yet to encounter; yet another new thing to him.
He did know, however, that it was now attacking one of the girls, and this was something he would never allow; his reaction instinctive and thoughtless.

He rushed and quickly moved in front of the blades of Aper; this scythe blocking one and his left wing blocking the other.
"How cold and callous are you to attack a lady! Such insolence!" he muttered as he struggled to hold back the almost overwhelming attack. Sebastion's flame grew as he put more effort behind his block. The scythe now was brought to an intense blue flame; his eye mimicking the color. His wings also seem to glow darkly and ominously as a second Sebastion appeared and brought his scythe down and around in a sharp, quick slash to its back.

"I think everyone should either run or help if you're not too busy soiling your pants . . . !" both called out.

[Miracle]

"Fool."

Aper easily overpowered Sebastion and forced him back before turning to the second Sebastion, his weapon going right through the shadow making up the Second Aspect's body as Aper swung his right arm to knock the second Sebastion back.

"You have no allies in this place. Behold the Second Aspect of the Arashi. God's will. You and this woman will die here!"
