Order history:

The origin of this order dates back to the late 1800s. When Abraham Van Hellsing defeated the lord Vampire Dracula and imprisoned him under the Hellsing pentagram. It was some number of years later when Arthur Hellsing would use Dracula, who now called himself, Alucard, to face off against the organization known only as Millennium. Alucard and Walter Dornez halted Millennium, but it was undoubtfully the fall of Adolf Hitler that truly crippled the organization and they would disappear for the better half of the century, Alucard would be put back into slumber in 1969.

In 1989, Arthur Hellsing would fall ill and die leaving everything to his daughter, Integra. However, his brother, Richard, was jealous of Integra for inheriting the family heaship. He attempted to hunt her down and kill her. However, he was killed when she awakened the Hellsing attack dog once again. Alucard would serve her and be her loyal servant just as he did her father and his father before him. Some ten years later Millennium resurfaced. They sent two artificial vampires to attack Hellsing head on, and succeeded in killing many soldiers under Integras command. Alucard and the elder Walter Dornez, along with Seras Victoria, Alucard servant, wiped out all opposition.

Afterward, Integra hired the Wild Geese, headed by Pip Bernadotte. They would be put to the test several times against the subjects of Millennium. Eventually, Millennium would full on assault London and during the war Walter would turn sides, Seras Victoria would unlock the true vampire inside her after the death of Pip Bernadotte, and even Alucard would fully release his powers until all opposition was defeated. The aftermath of the war was brutal and bloody. Many allies had been lost, even Alucard had disappeared after drinking the Schrödinger blood.

Ten years would pass, and the rise of unknown monsters in England caused the Hellsing Order to come back into full service. In the last ten years Seras had rebuilt the Wild Geese to respect and honor Pip, she was serviced with fighting the vampire plague that still infested the city, but even more so, she had become something Alucard would be proud of. But even she was no match for the rise of the Anubis army setting their undead servants across Europe. The Queen sent orders for Integra to mobilize and take down every last one who was responsible for the massacres across the world.

During the first skirmish Seras Victoria was gunned down by the last two unknown members of the former Millennium forces. They were twins brother and sister and had been engineered into the perfect vampires through research done by the Major on Alucards blood and DNA. The Hellsing Organization was forced to retreat allowing Iscariot to move in and hold off the army. In the meantime the Queen ordered Integra to an audience with herself. The Queen lead Integra to a noble burial ground where she opened one of the tombs that memorialized Jeanne d’Arc.

Once the two entered the burial chamber Integra instantly noticed that it was well lit, a made bed, a table in the center of the room with a plate and silverware laid out as well as several bottles of French wine and a wine glass. The Queen clapped her hands together once and a blond girl materialized falling from the ceiling landing on her knee and bowed her head before the Queen. The Queen raised her hand allowing the girl to rise, “Integra, I would like you to meet the guardian Joann of Arc. She will replace Alucard for the time being, accept this as a gift and a weapon to defeat the remnants of Millennium at all costs.”

Integra and Joann returned to the Hellsing Mansion where Seras Victoria was back to full strength and preparing her men for another forward assault on the Anubis forces. Seras encountered Heinkel Wolfe of Iscariot. The two of them made the first push toward Anubis occupied Germany, but they were unsuccessful when the sister showed up with her enhanced vampire soldiers. Integra ordered Joann to the field where she would examine the power behind the Queens Trump Card. Joann assisted Seras and Heinkel in a clumsy act of fencing with the soldiers who all wielding guns.

Seras pushed Joann aside into cover and belittled her similarly to how Alucard did years ago to Seras. Heinkel refused to believe Joann was the Joan of Arc the Maiden of Orleans. And when they were getting overran the Queen made a call to Integra and told her to radio for Seras and say the following, “The voice of our Lord and Savior God guides and commands you in the service of the Royal Order of Protestant Knights, Hellsing, under the leadership of Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing.”

Upon hearing her orders Joann stood up and her sword took on a golden design down both sides of it which glowed. Her eyes turned golden instantly, a holy aura surrounded her that warded Seras to move far away from her and left Heinkel in awe. She walked around the corner where the Vampire soldiers were waiting and raised her hand. They opened fire and each of the bullets curved around her being forced to miss, she walked forward with her palm extended outward at them before lowering it and raising her sword to the sky.

The dust in the area picked up as the holy aura exploded around her rippling off her body as she gained more and more power. The bullets that were shot at her just couldn’t penetrate the holy aura that acted as a barrier. Her body turned away from them and then used the momentum of her turn to face them again, this time she was slashing her sword straight down into the ground. The holy power shot forward in a massive wave that killed all the vampires it touched instantly, those near the wave upon impact were burned nearly to death. The wave of energy left a 20 foot trench that stretched a mile long.

Seras and Heinkel tasked themselves with executing the left over vampires as Joann moved forward into Germany to handle the twins. With no contact back with Hellsing, Joann single handedly wiped out the vampire army and left most of Berlin in ruin after a showdown with both full-fledged vampire gods. Germany was in an uproar of the damage which threw tension on world relations. This sparked the retaliation from corrupt officials to send aid to the Anubis cult, over the next five years they would use the funding to advance technology and recreate the flesh and blood of the elder priests which they sacrificed to raise the God of Death, Anubis.

Joann had taken to being Integra’s personal body guard while Seras was often sent on the missions as she commanded the Wild Geese. The crisis came about as Anubis dropped an entire nation dead with shadow warriors of the past. He literally called upon the dead bringing them back to life, all of them enemies of the world each one dead set to kill every single person they came across. They acted with rage and only used their skills in battle. Anubis singlehandedly brought the world to its knees. Plague washed over the world, the dead rose again.

Iscariot and Hellsing joined forces once again as Anubis bound down on England. In the end it took all of Joanns power to fight the King of the Dead, and even then she was defeated. The Vatican order fell the pope killed. The counter strike was halted by the murder of the heads of the nation’s leaving Hellsing to their own demise. Joann was once again sent into battle this time she released every bit of power in a long battle against Anubis. Seras and Heinkel both assisted her taking down the surrounding army that had weakened her in the first conflict.

Eventually Joann would defeat Anubis and kill him. The action of killing the God of Death shattered reality and the universe they stood in simply turned off. The living forces of Hellsing were saved from this death when Joann shielded them with her full power and teleported them into the existing reality they stood in now. Hallowton. It wasn’t home, but it was a start.
