Gabrielle jumped up into the air and then spun over the charging soldiers while her battle cry ringed out from above them before she landed, moving down and tripping a couple of soldiers off their feet and coming up in an upper-cut slash with her blade, pushing against one of the soldiers who had his tower shield up soon after before kicking off of it and then finally ducking under the swing of someone else's sword to continue on her advance.

Sincara never kept her eyes off of Chloe and when she saw the swings of her blade in the air she assumed the worse. Projecting an energy barrier of her own around herself and Zora she managed to block the attack and once the energy barrier came down proceeded to open fire towards the advancing army with armor piercing rounds.

Zora would be cut off by the energy barrier generated around them by Sincara's weapon before the slashes literally came out of nowhere. Naturally Zora thought someone was attacking them in an invisibility cloak and started firing off spells at random locations in the air. At the very least the spells knocked back several of the soldiers on Jherrazad's side and bound together the legs of others causing them to fall.

As Kain pushed through the soldiers he would find himself intercepted by the Black Knight Kaso who swung his blade down breaking through the tower shield but it would be stopped by the strange and foreign energy shield that now protected Kain's body causing Kaso to quickly take a step back. "What cheap sorcery is this?"
Several Jherrazad ground troops came at Gabrielle in a row, using their tower shields to push back against the Battling Bard of Potidaea, even with the energy field blocking them they managed to remain relentless in their shove their spears pressing up against the energy shield as hard as they could to try to penetrate it while they pushed the woman back.
Chloe eyed Sincara as she eyed her, but sooner or later the child had to blink and when she did the Empress would be before her with multiple jabs with the tip of the demon blade at blinding speeds.

Kain looked up to the large black knight towering over him at 6'8, Kain himself was only 6'2 and around 180 pounds in weight but that meant he had the upper-hand in movement as a man that large, and with that much heavy armor, is bound to be slower than most. With his tower shield broken Kain quickly went to block the strike with his sword but the energy shield produced by Sincara's gun would save him the trouble, allowing him to push forward. Attacking the knees of the knight with his blade. |

Gabrielle didn't know how much the energy shields now around her body could take, or where it had came from, but she wasn't about to put this blessing in disguise to the test and promptly backed away from the advancing soldiers with their tower shields. Ducking just in time as Sincara armor piercing rounds came breaking through their shields and allowing Gabrielle the opening she needed to take them down.

Sincara was knocked backward by the sudden appearance of the Empress but quickly regained her footing and aimed the Six Shooter point blank with a .357 bullet of pure energy, the kind that would explode upon impact that Kasul wouldn't be able to absorb due to its origin as pure energy not based on magic.

Zora let out a scream when Chloe appeared out of nowhere and fell over her own feet, hitting the ground hard and rolling about in the midst of all this chaos. The witch would get up just in time to see the pure energy bullet that came out of Sincara's muggle weapon.
What in Merlin's Beard?
No time to lose Zora aimed her wand at Chloe and cast a full body bind on the Empress while she was vulnerable. |

The Black Knight pulled back and as Kain came forward for the knees, Kaso bent down and rammed his shoulder into the man to send him crashing into the ground energy shield, or no energy shield.
As Gabrielle continued forward she would run into the General of Jherrazad East Division, General Alexander. With his great long sword raised the noir-haired male charged forward with a thrust to the woman's heart.
Chloe raised Kasul in front of her, the flat end of the blade facing Sincara as the bullet came but to her surprise the blast was strong enough to send her staggering backward. What!? Normally Kasul would have either absorbed or taken the hit with little effort on her part. The Empress was pulled out of her shock with the cries of the witch, quickly absorbing the spell that fired from her wand and continuing on her assault, this time aiming to cleave Zora in two.

Kain fell over and hit the ground, the energy shield protecting him from damage but didn't seem to do much to keep him standing up. He quickly got up to his feet and swung his blade to meet with that of the Black Knight's as the sound of their steels coming together roared across the battlefield. |

Gabrielle quickly stepped out of the way of Alexander's charge and then turned around whistling at the man.
"Over here."
Her sword ready to parry his if he came around swinging.

And while Chloe was doing that, she would receive a pure energy bullet right into the back for turning it on Sincara in the first place.

Zora ended up falling backwards through the air and into the ground when Chloe came charging at her with Kasul, barely missing the swipe of the blade while Sincara shot into the Empress' back. Not knowing what else to do as Chloe's weapon was capable of simply absorbing her spells when cast from the wand, Zora scooted backwards from the crisis and got back up to her feet keeping an eye out on everything around her in case either Chloe or someone else came after her. |

The behemoth that was the Black Knight pushed forward, putting his massive body weight behind the push to knock Kain off his feet once again only this time following up by bringing the tip of his blade down to his chest to penetrate his shields, if not his heart.
Alexander instead came spinning around with a low kick to Gabrielle's feet before bringing the sword forward to cleave the woman in two whilst spun about in mid-air.
A telekinesis barrier produced by Kasul wrapped around the vampiress body and protected her from the energy bullet as a second Chloe appeared on the battlefield. This one coming at Sincara with a relentless amount of slashes with the demonic blade as the original Empress on the field continued moving forward towards the witch. "You're in over your head, little girl."

Kain fell to the ground and rolled out of the way of the in-coming sword that pierced the ground. Kain jumped up to his feet and aimed the blade towards the cracks in Kaso's armor putting more strength behind his swing. |
