Jaden took out his deck and shuffled through it once again. Man what he wouldn't give for good duel. He had been missing that for quite a while and it didn't seem like anyone had ended up here from his reality. Shame. He really had missed dueling, but he supposed until he could fully find a way back home it was something that would have to wait. And he did plan on getting back his realm, but for now it was time for a break. He put his deck back inside it's deck box as he sat down under the tree. The night had a nice breeze tonight. If he actually had any money he might've found a place to stay, but as it was it was peaceful out tonight. The clean air and the stars were all he needed. He closed his eyes. This isn't bad. Not bad at all. he thought to himself. He had never been one to fret over anything really. It wasn't raining so he didn't see the problem, but as always he had his duel disk and deck hand y in case he did have to use them. ______________________________________________________ Tag: Person to post next Song: ”Wake Up Your Heart” by KENN with The NaBs Key: Thoughts, “Jaden’s Dialouge”, "The Supreme King's Dialouge", “Honest’s Dialouge, ”Yubel’s Dialouge”, ”Professor Banner’s Dialouge”, “Neos’ Dialouge”, “Winged Kuriboh” (Note: Anyone beside Jaden can only be seen if that person can see Duel Spirits or ghosts.)

It had been a long time since Revan had the time to look up at the stars. When she was a child, she and Alek would sneak outside of the temple grounds on Dantoinne, going out into the farmers' fields to lay down and look at the night sky, taking turns to name the constellations. As children, they would point out planets and talk about all the things they were going to do when they finally got there. The next time she had stared up at the stars was on a planet on the Outer Rim, Malak by her side as their men treated their wounds during their campaign in the Mandalorian Wars. But instead of wistfully recalling days gone by, the two were pointing out planets under siege and weak points in the Republic, weak points they could exploit when they finally rose to power as Sith Lords and took over the galaxy.
Now, on Genesis, so far away from the galaxy she grew up in and traveled all her life, Revan found that while staring into the night sky was beautiful, it was uncomfortable and disconcerting. She knew none of the stars or systems before her; it was all alien. Out of place. Instead of calming her, the sky only served to remind her how lost she was, the twinkling stars almost mocking her in her helplessness.
Grumbling to herself, the Firrerreo looked down at the ground, kicking a rock in annoyance. It was infuriating to be so helpless. She was the great Revan, dammit. Revan the Butcherer, the Revanchist! Feared and hated by most, respected by many, and maybe if she was lucky, loved as a friend by a few. Faces of allies she had gathered over the years began to swim in front of her, only increasing her homesickness. She needed something to take her mind off of things.
Wandering through the temperate area known as Moon Valley, Revan looked around, unsure what she was searching for, if she was searching for anything at all. Her infamous armor and faceplate were replaced with the simple robes of a Jedi, the loose, light fabric making Force abilities easier to use. Her long, dark cloak billowed with the breeze, its tattered edges showing signs of use. She might have to think about getting a new one, but she never could find the right fabric for it.
The former Sith was just contemplating the future of one of her favorite accessories when a figure in the corner of her eye caught her attention. She turned and looked up the hill, and lo and behold! There, sitting underneath a tree, was a teenage boy, obviously alone. What was a child doing out at this hour? Judging from his appearance and garb, he didn't appear, nor did he feel like one of the local children, so why was he out here? Curious, Revan went up the hill, watching the young man carefully.
“You there,” She called out, her nictating membranes sliding over her eyes as her range of vision expanded to ultraviolet. Not that it would do jack shit at night. “What are you doing out here so late? Where are your parents?”

Jaden could only slightly turn his head and only opened one eye to look at the newcomer. Didn't seem to be coming to tell him to move. He yawned slightly looking over to her. ”Man can't a guy get some sleep around here?” he asked her before slightly sitting up. But only slightly. He was still leaning against the tree, but he was at least looking at her or it looked like he was looking at her. He blinked at her questions. ”Whats it look like I'm doing? I'm trying to take a nap.” he said to himself not gazing at her in favor of looking up at the stars. ”Nothing beats the open air. You know?” he asked taking a deep breath of it and then smiling to himself as he closed his eyes for a second. His parents. He let out a shrug as if it were no big deal. ”If I had to guess they're at work? Or just getting home? I'm not really sure how things work around here.” he said not bothering to mention they also happened to be in another reality. What he was sure of though is that he wanted to get back to sleeping. ”That all you needed?” he asked as Yubel appeared besides him. He had probably left a few unanswered questions with his statement. ”His parents are in another realm, but what he said is for the most part true.” she said. Jaden seemed not to notice her. Almost as if she didn't exist to him. In truth she didn't. She didn't want Jaden to know he was there so he didn't. Yubel's eyes leveled on Revan awaiting what other questions she might have that Jaden would leave unanswered.

Revan blinked for a moment, staring at the young man, no, he was a boy in her eyes, as he snapped back a response. Well, someone disliked being bothered. But she had dealt with people with worse attitudes. For a moment, her memories drifted back to the bounty hunter Calo Nord, a man who didn’t want to be bothered by others, to the point where he would merely count to three and then drop a flash grenade and shoot the offenders. So a little moody teenager wasn’t a problem to deal with. Shrugging off her irritation, she approached Jaden as a figure materialized before her. Ah, the disturbance in the Force she had been sensing. Because of her new… environment, she had learned that many people here were disturbances in the Force. The Force flowed around them differently than the people from her galaxy. But this person… was a spirit of some sort. Instantly, she was on guard, her eyes narrowing dangerously as her lightsabers flew into her hands, but did not turn on.
Revan had never had particularly good experiences with “spirits” of any sort. Most of the times she encountered them were in tombs, usually Sith tombs. So the spirits were almost always the remains of whatever Sith Lord was buried there, and they took great pleasure in attacking those who disturb their rest. It was like being caught in a spider’s web, but instead of getting stuck and eaten, you were attacked by random creatures, acid, booby traps, visions, and voices crawled inside your head in an attempt to drive you insane. Yea. Some crazy shit happened.
However, when this spirit did nothing but speak, the former Sith relaxed ever-so-slightly, putting away the hilts to her precious lightsabers. It seemed that this spirit… guardian of some sort seemed more interested in answering her questions than the boy she asked in the first place. At her response, Revan sighed, looking at the boy before her with pity. “How tragic when even children are taken from their homes and dumped here.” She crouched down, staring at the boy unblinkingly. “Then who are you, child? And how long have you been trapped here?”

Jaden could only tilt his head slightly as she pulled out her lightsabers. Were they duel disks here? Was that the form they took? Did that mean she was a duelist? It was possible. He had seen them evolve when he had meet up with Yusei to take down Paradox. So maybe they were different in other realms. He sorely wanted a good duel, but needless to say he wasn't too worried about it. Jaden normally had good encounters with spirits. Of course he had some bad encounters, but that was the way everything worked. You met some good and some bad. ”Hey are you a duelist?” he asked before she put them away. No duel then? A shame. He could use a good duel. He actually hadn't had one in a few months. He missed the experience of doing it. He could really go for a duel against Sai, or Zane, or even Baston. Baston teneded to overthink his duels though. It still proved fun to duel against him however. ”Tragic? Nah. I don't think it's tragic. It's pretty sweet if you ask me. Open air. Blue skys. Now all thats missing is the doomsday element and it's just like the good old days back at the Academy." he said not really taking her words seriously. He supposed the Arashi filled that slot, but still in that case it was exactly like the Academy without the boring teachers, but he wouldn't mind sleeping through another of Dr. Crowler's boring lectures if it meant he could get another duel. ”Oh me? I'm Jaden Yuki. I'm gonna be the next King of Games. And you are exactly?” he asked considering her second question. ”I dunno. I lost track of time. A month or two.” he said he really didn't know and to be honest he really didn't care. ”Hes been here for almost a year now.” Yubel chimed in filling in the blanks that Jaden couldn't. He was hard pressed to really think of an answer.
