Night descended on Isafaro, and the patrols were out in force. Not that it mattered to Snake, they were good, but not good enough to catch him. He crouched on a rooftop a distance away from his target, an Isafaro lab that was heavily guarded. He inhales deeply on his cigarette as he watched it through his NVG's, making notes on the patrol routes and relative strength of the armed guards. He already found his entrance, and now he just wanted to finish his smoke before heading in. He remains still for a few moments, dark eyes scanning the area, making sure everything was as he'd noted. While his intelligence wasn't nearly that with most people, he knew what he was doing when it came to stealth espionage and infiltration. He checks over his gear before moving, scowling in the dark as he flicked his cigarette away. All he had on him was his knife and his modified M9 that fired tranquilizer rounds, with only two clips left for it.
"Twenty rounds left, heavy opposition, extremely well armed." he chuckles to himself as he moves out, shaking his head. "It's almost too easy." he spoke to himself as he slipped silently through the shadows. Within moments, he'd slipped inside the air ducts and was crawling through the inside of the building. He could hear the guards moving around beneath him, and he made certain that nothing was waiting to ambush him as he moved slowly through the building. Eventually he reached the R&D area, and he paused over the grating, peering down into the room below. He counted three scientist, and probably two guards outside the main entrance to the room. Gave him five targets he needed to take out quietly. He hesitated for a moment as the flaw in his plan became clear to him.
"Dammit, what the hell does this stupid thing even look like!?"

When Revan had been brainwashed and reduced to some human (not even Firrerreo, mind you, human) spacer who called herself “Kaori,” she had always loathed sneaking into places by herself. it was always a lot of work and no matter how hard she tried, something went wrong and it all came crashing down. And since she was by herself, she had nothing to do but run behind the nearest bulkhead and crawl into the ducts in an attempt to hide while robots or soldiers or god knows what would go after her. She hated ducts. They were always just small enough to be uncomfortable. And she would pop out outside and meet up with Carth or T3 or HK or Ordo or someone and they'd have to storm the whole place. All that hard work for nothing.
The Force made things a lot easier.
Approaching an entrance to a lab in the city of Isafaro, Revan was dressed in her classic armor. Originally, she had planned on dressing in casual wear typical for the area, but right before setting out she changed her mind. Sometimes tradition wasn't such a bad thing. Of course, she couldn't just waltz in. A guard would stop her right about no-
“Hey! You can't go through here! Let me see some identification,” A guard called as he pointed a weapon, a gun of some sort, at her. Another left his post to join his comrade, both of them watching Revan carefully. Smirking underneath her helmet, Revan waved her hand ever-so-slightly in front of them.
“You do not need to see my identification,” She spoke, manipulating the Force as she did so. She could see the guard's eyes dilate for a moment before they nodded.
“We do not need to see your identification,” They replied in a rather monotone voice that made the former Sith grin. 'Too easy.'
“You're going to let me in and forget you ever saw me,” She told them, once again affecting their minds. “And one of you are going to give me the identification I need to get inside.” They nodded again before repeating what she said. 'All too easy. Why are guards always so easy to Persuade? It's like a curse they suffer from. Or are all of them idiots?' A few minutes of waiting, and the necessary “guest” pass was in her hands and she had left the two guards in a daze.
Entering the complex, she cracked her knuckles and rolled her shoulders. Time to get to work.
Being “stealthy,” was a lot easier when you could just “Persuade” everyone to forget you were there and/or to give your directions and/or open doors for you. The only ones she actually avoided were the scientists. After all, it might be harder to make them submit to her will than the guards, which may lead to unpleasant complications. So it was important to stick with the ones that were mindless drones to begin with. Made work easy.
Eventually, the Force User came up to the room that seemed to hold what she was looking for. The guards weren't worth the effort of being knocked out; a little hand waving and some persuasive words were all it took and they were heading down to wherever guards went to use the bathroom at this hour. Reaching out the Force, she felt the presence of four. Three in the lab itself, probably scientists. The fourth, however, came a surprise. 'Someone's in the ducts!?' How the hell anyone would willingly go in those things amazed her, but she was curious as to why someone would be sneaking into the lab. 'Maybe they're looking for something as well...'
Reaching out her hand to the three scientists, she reached out with the Force. For a moment, nothing happened, then suddenly, all three dropped to the ground, fast asleep. One of them, an elderly gentleman, even snored. 'That ought to put the out for a few hours.' Revan then rose to her full height, entering the room. Then, after a few moments, she looked up to where the duct was and spoke.
“You can come out now.”

Snake watched as the scientist suddenly drop to the ground, fast asleep by the look, and sound, of things. As an armored figure wandered in, he was suddenly on edge, gripping the butt of his gun tighter in his hand. 'What the hell? Who the hell is this, and why are they here?' he wondered to himself, bristling as the figure looked right at him, and spoke. So he could come out huh? Well, there was no point in trying to get the drop on someone that already knew he was there. With careful movements, he lifted the grating free from the duct cover, sliding it off to the side and he rolled himself out, dropping onto the floor, crouching his knees to absorb the impact, rolling to the side and leveling his gun at the woman as he did so. Just because she hadn't attacked him yet was no reason to drop his guard after all.
His eyes sweep over her, not noting anything out of the ordinary, well, anymore so than normal. She wore a helmet, odd armour and a robe over it all. Didn't give him much to go on, but it was a start at least. He was dressed in his sneaking suit, as per his norm. A form fitting suit made of a silicon like material that insulated heat and reduced noise, and was tight enough to apply pressure to any area he might take damage, like from a bullet for example. His hair was cropped close in a military style with a bandanna across his forehead, and a tactical harness over his chest, which held his holster and knife. "Who the hell are you? I can't imagine someone coming here for just a stroll." he remarks, keeping his gun trained on her. His finger rested easily on the trigger, ready to squeeze and fire off a round center mass that would knock her out after just a few moments, if it connected. He couldn't tell if she was wearing more armour, her robes were preventing that, but he was hoping she wasn't. Even if she was, he'd find a way to take her down if he had to. He always did. Another thought occurs to him, and he voices it as he keep his weapon trained on her, his eyes glancing over to the door. "And how did you get past the guards? I didn't here any gunfire."

Revan watched the man descend from the duct, surprised at his agility. As well as his dress. 'What's with the skin-tight suit?' From a tactical standpoint, she could see how it could be useful, but it looked awfully uncomfortable. But then again, that wasn't her cup of tea to begin with. The man was older than her by a few years, or at least he appeared so; her race had long lifetimes, so she could be a century older than him. In this place, you never knew.
The Force User remained unfazed as a weapon was pointed at her. It was primitive from her point-of-view, but that didn't mean that it wasn't dangerous. Without moving, her shield activated, covering the cloaked and armored woman in a layer of blue for a moment before becoming all but invisible. For a moment after that, she did not move, merely watching the man before her carefully. There were many ways she could go about this, several of which would result in his death, but she didn't want to kill him. No, she'd grown out of that phase. So she'd play nice. For now.
“Look,” She managed through gritted teeth, raising her hands in a universal form of surrender. “I'm... looking for something. I don't want any trouble. Least of all from someone else who doesn't exactly belong here.” She sensed two guards approaching the lab and tensed. 'So much for not wanting any trouble.' “One moment please,” In a flurry of cloth, Revan moved with superhuman speed (aided by the Force) and ran to the door just in time to knock the pair of guards right as they passed by the door. Before they could hit the ground, she had already knocked out the ones who were standing at the doorway and all four were caught before a sound could be made. Then she gingerly pulled them into the room, putting them aside before walking to Snake again. “I'm Revan, by the way. Mind introducing yourself?”[/blockquote]

He scowls at her, making a low grunt of displeasure, shrugging as he rises from his crouch. She made a fair point, but that didn't make him any less cautious. He kept his gun lowered, pointing more at the floor than at her, but it was ready to raise in a moment. With his arms bent at his elbows, he kept the gun close to his body, ready for some close quarters combat in case she tried to disarm him. It wouldn't be the first time he'd had to tangle with an enemy in close quarters, and it sure;y wasn't the last. Experience had taught him caution and a wary distrust of practically everyone he met. He dropped lower as she dashed to the door, but raised again as she dragged the guards inside that she'd taken out, eying them curiously.
Her speed was uncanny, and it was to be expected from what he'd seen of the people on this world so far. "Revan huh? Interesting name. Call me Snake." he says, lowering his gun and holstering it, keeping his eyes on her. There was something unnatural to her, and he wasn't sure what it was, but it put him on edge. It was a natural feeling for him now, since there was a lot he didn't understand here. Otacon would probably have a better guest, he was the brains in their partnership really, Snake was the field operative. "So, what are you? No normal person moves that fast, and I doubt you're anything like Grey Fox. From what I've seen of this world, I'm assuming some sort of supernatural creature?" he asks, his tone clearly indicating that he was still having issues coming to terms with everything. "Hngh. Whatever it is you're after, feel free to poke around. I'm just here to see if I can find some of the camouflage technology I've heard about. I figure I'm gonna need it in this place." he says, poking around the lab slowly, never turning his back to her as he rifled through drawers, idly tapping a couple keys on a computer.

Revan smiled under her helmet when Snake put his weapon away. 'Well, that's one problem out of the way,' She listened to his words with keen interest. 'I don't think Snake is any less interesting than Revan.' Lowering her hands, the Firrerreo looked around for a moment, still listening to the soldier speak. One didn't need the Force to tell that she was making the poor man uncomfortable; all you had to do was listen to his voice. And apparently, it was because she was... "supernatural?" Unfamaliar with the term, she stared at him for a moment. Perhaps.. the place he came from was filled with only humans? What a strange world indeed.
"I wouldn't call myself 'supernatural' persay," She commented, lowering her hood and removing her faceplate. Dark eyes watched Snake with curosity as nictating membranes ocassionally blinked, independent from her normal set of eyelids, almost like that one part from Men in Black. Her gold-colored skin stood out in the light of the lab, but she didn't seem to notice as she looked at the papers and items on the tables before her. Despite being watched carefully by Snake, she seemed perfectly calm, almost as if she was sure she could handle whatever he threw at her. Running a hand through her black and sky blue hair, she picked up a few items she couldn't identify, staring at them quizzically.
"If it makes you feel better," She reassured the human, putting the items down and smiling apologetically. "My race is often considered to be 'Near-Human' in my galaxy. There are much more... 'strange' looking creatures. Like Squibs. Or Hutts. Or even Wookies, I guess. But I'm sorry if I've made you... uncomfortable." Part of her was tempted to reach out with the Force to calm him down, but she didn't want to risk scaring him. For a moment, she was reminded of a cornered animal, ready to strike out if threatened. The thought made the former Sith chuckle as she picked up a small lens.
"Maybe I could modify this for my lightsaber," She muttered to herself, pocketing the small trinket. "Never know when a little damage mod could provde the edge I need."

Kira was all set. He had to check out this hideout of Isafaro, but he wasn't here on a mission. He was here on personal business. He had some files he wanted to run through. Especially about Imai. There had to be some reason that see was so deadest against Isafaro. That and looking for any new tech he might need to be aware of, but unfortunately there was only so much he could do from outside their base. The server he was after was internal this time. Before he ever entered the base however he disabled the alarms and set the cameras on a loop. By the time they figured it out he would be long gone. He was in Isafaro military uniform. He had done enough research to know what would happen. “Halt. ID.” the solider at the fore front demanded of him. Kira handed him his fake ID making sure it would check out in the servers. The person handed it back to him. “New here? Know where you're going?” he asked. ”I'll manage.” he told them. He knew exactly where he was going so it wasn't a problem. He made his way down the hallways until he came to the room he was going to. What the hell? he thought to himself pulling out his weapon not knowing what to expect. He held it pointed down for now hoping not to use it. His footsteps made no sound as he neared them his mind on high alert. He bent down and checked for a pulse. Still alive and no signs of a struggle here so then what had caused it. He rounded the doorway his gun raised eying the two figures in the room. ”Don't move. I don't want to hurt you.” he warned them. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

"Great, near human huh? Well, I still have a hard time swallowing all this. Where I come from, we're just normal folks. Tech's not half bad though, near on par with this place." he rummages around for a smoke, holding it in his lips as he rummages around for a lighter. He growls lightly as he fails to find one, looking back at Revan. "Hey uh, got a light?" he asks, holding up a hand and miming using a lighter. He could really go for a smoke right about now. After eventually getting it lit, he inhales deeply, leaning against a corner, allowing himself to relax at least a little. "You know, I don't know what any of those things are you just mentioned. I'm just a soldier, so I don't really know much outside of combat and what pertains to it." he says with a light shrug.
As the door opens, his weapon flashes out, levelling as he ducks behind a desk, leaning out for a clear shot at the door. Staring in at them was an Isafaro soldier. Without hesitation, he fires of a round, not caring if the dart hit or not as he chambers a new one, before finally realizing what the man said. Certainly didn't sound like an Isafaro soldier. Someone else breaking in? Well, the security must either be extremely lacking, or this new comer was extremely good at something. He was inclined to think good at something, as walking right through the complex, even in disguise, would be pretty hard to do. With the ID cards and security check points and all, a stolen uniform wouldn't cut it. "Either shoot us if you're a soldier, or shut up and get inside. Do you want to bring down guards on us?" he calls out, keeping hidden behind the desk, peering out cautiously to make sure he didn't catch a round in his face. He didn't know where Revan was at this point, so instead he puffed idly on his cigarette, waiting for a response.

Revan smiled softly at his comment, knowing her earlier suspicion was right on the mark. “It must be quite uncomfortable finding yourself sounded with all these different people.” 'He feel at a disadvantage.' And he had every reason to feel so. If the Force-user so wished to, she could kill in more ways than one could imagine, or even tear every piece of information from his consciousness. And there was a time when she would have done so, merely because she it would be fun to watch him writhe in agony and beg for mercy. Even now, a part of her mind wandered to the idea, poking and prodding it with keen interest, trying to goad her into slaughtering the poor man she had just met, not before torturing him first.
At his question, Revan's face blanked as she tried to process what he said. 'A... light?' Ah, so it seemed he wanted to smoke some death sticks. While some would be concerned about the damage the smoke could do their own lungs, it seemed that Snake didn't mind that at all. Well, neither did Revan. She could never see the point in smoking them, but inhaling the smoke didn't do much damage to her system. She was Firrerreo, after all. “I don't have a... 'lighter' so to speak but I guess my lightsaber would work..?” Pulling out one of her weapons, she took a moment to gaze upon the handle. 'Much more elegant than a blaster, in my opinion.' A small smile on her face, she turned on the weapon, the blade of light growing until it reached its full size. Unconsciously, her stance changed to the correct form, and she lunged for Snake.
In a humming blur of violet light, the end of Snake's cigarette seemed to disappear, the new end charred. Sure enough, after a few seconds, it began to smoke, and Revan turned off her light-saber before securing it in her belt.
Before the force-User could comment on Snake's exasperated statement, she felt a presence near the room. 'That's odd, guards travel in pairs and no one's scheduled to be in here save for these scientists..' Crouching low, she watched the door open with careful eyes, only to see someone pointing a gun. Snake fired a shot from behind his cover, much to her chagrin. 'Soldiers are always like that. Shoot first and ask questions later.' But considering they were being threatened, I guess there was a reason to react like that.
Using the Force, the gun flew out of the newcomer's hand into Revan's own, and the Firrerreo placed it on the table before her. Now it was merely wait and see what he did. If he ran, she would kill him. If he was also breaking in, then he should join the party. “Now there's no need for that. You too,” She remarked, looking at Snake when she spoke the last bit.

Kira was already on high alert so when Snake shot he was already responding moving to dogde back behind the wall before the shot had even left his gun, the end result being the dart only grazed him. Well this was certainly going to put a damper on things. Who were these guys and what were they doing here? His eyes darted out in the hallway. How long until a patrol came by? Even he would probably get taken down in that mess. If for nothing more than questioning what happened, but then it would only be a matter of time until it was found out he wasn’t really an Isafaro soldiers. He was so caught up in thought that his gun almost slipped out of his hand, but he tightened his grip on it at the last moment managing to keep a hold on it for now. That was when Snake’s words reached him. Guess he was a shoot first, ask questions later, type of person. He wondered what it was that had almost taken his gun from him. He couldn’t see anything that would’ve done it, although in this world that didn’t seem to mean a whole lot. He came back in his weapon pointed down this time, but still on high alert to use it if he needed to. For now his focus wasn’t on why he had come here, it was on what they were doing here and more importantly. ”What did you do to them?” he asked referring to the guards. He wasn’t going to run, but he wanted some answers. And things really weren’t making a lot of sense here. He didn’t shut the door in case he did need to duck back out. They didn’t look like Isafaro military so they probably weren’t, but then who were they and why were they here? Maybe the same reason as him. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

Snake rolls his eyes. Of course, they're threatened and he gets chastised for defending himself. Go figure huh? He pokes his head out, taking a measure of the man at the door. He acted like a trained operative, making good use of his cover and holding his weapon tightly. Guess they weren't dealing with a rookie then. He growls to himself before holstering his weapon, moving slowly from his cover, hands spread to show no weapons, nor near one. "Easy there now. I've got nothing against you kid, so don't hold it against me if I aim to defend myself in the middle of an enemy base when someone surprises me." he says lightly, about as close to an apology as he ever came. He was more than a little gruff and abrasive, but he had a softer side that most hadn't seen. He'd spent his whole life in combat, going from one war to the next, mission after mission. He didn't have a lot of free time as a soldier, but that had never concerned him really.
"Unconscious or asleep, not really sure myself. You'd have to ask the other one here with me. I'm just a soldier, nothing supernatural about me, so I can't explain it." he says, dropping his almost gone cigarette and stomping it out, keeping his hands to his sides. "I'm not gonna shoot you, so come inside before a patrol team notices you and the whole complex comes after us will you?" he says, perhaps a trifle more impatiently than he should have. The thought of a firefight didn't really appeal to him. Chances are, he'd have to kill some of them to escape, and the thought was hardly pleasing to him. He preferred not taking life wherever he could. Even if they were enemies, they were people with families, and he didn't have the right to take their life. "I'm Snake, kid. You?" he asks casually, settling down a bit as a familiar situation helped calm him. Wasn't the first time someone had a gun on him, it was oddly relaxing to notice some things never change, no matter where you are. "And you mind putting that away? You've got a good grip, but guns aren't your thing. I'd rather not get shot from a nervous twitch if it's all the same to you." he continues, hoping this would play out like he was anticipating. If it was someone else breaking in, chances are they wouldn't shoot. The kid didn't have the eyes of a killer.

The former Jedi chuckled sheepishly as Snake diverted the attention to her. Oh, looks like she had the spotlight. "The guards are perfectly unharmed; they are merely unconscious," she informed the teen, smiling and inclining her head slightly as her two separate pairs of eyelids blinked. "They will eventually wake up, with no memory of me.. well, us being here." But given the boy's concern and curiosity, she doubted he would simply take that as an answer, so she decided to elaborate on her method. "I used the Force." After the words left her mouth, Revan was suddenly aware of how much that didn't make sense. Well, shit. If she were back in her own galaxy, all she had to do was say "The Force" and people would get the message. However, here, the concept of the Force was completely unheard of. It was quite frustrating to have such a cultural barrier.
Sighing, the gold-skinned woman ran a hand through her long, silky hair, a typical mannerism of hers when she got annoyed. "How to explain this.. when I say the Force... I'm talking about something from my own universe. Well, it's everywhere. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us; it binds the galaxy together. It's... perhaps it would be easier to explain if I showed you." Holding out her hand, her violet lightsaber floated above it as it activated, the blade humming as it spun slowly. "There are many aspects to it, and being able to use the Force as you wish results in people like me: Force-sensitives." Turning off the lightsaber, she attached it to her belt again. Using the Force, one can do many things, from convincing a guard or two that you never existed to shooting lightning out of your fingertips, to even levitating objects.." She really hoped that she wouldn't have to explain the Force every single time she spoke to new people; it would get old very quickly.
"Now if you'd excuse me," The Firrerreo stated, turning her attention back to the paraphernalia before her. "I do have some things to get if I'm ever going to repair my droid. Oh what I'd give for a hydrospanner...."

______________________________________________________ At least the guy that had shot at him before wasn’t shooting this time. Which was all the better. Kira really didn’t want to shoot the guy anyway. He really wasn’t sure what to make of the woman. Someone in a robe? While it wasn’t quite enough for an alarm, it was odd enough for him to slightly wonder why. His grip loosened just a tad. He was still ready to use his weapon at a moments notice if it came to it, but he would rather not. His eyes went to Revan as he put the attention on her. The Force? So that was a reality as well. Just how much of his world was a reality elsewhere? He wasn’t sure to be honest. Perhaps he really didn’t want to know. Kira gave a nod after she finished. ”I’m familiar with it. Jedi or Sith?” he asked. If it was Sith he would at the very least need to be weary of her. His attention turned back to Snake after her explanation. He shrugged before closing the door. ”I wouldn’t worry about it to much. The disabled the alarms before I got here.” he said. He watched Revan work. He honestly couldn’t complain about it since he was here on a similar mission. He walked to a nearby computer breaking through the security in a few short moments. Without ever turning from them. He may not want to hurt them, but that didn’t mean he was about to let himself be shot. ”Kira Yamato. And you?” he asked Revan. He blinked at Snake’s question. Then realized he still had his gun out. ”Right. Sorry.” he said before putting it away. A few moments later and he had found the data he needed. He inserted a disk and began to make a copy of it removing the trance in it before even beginning that. ”Guess you’re all here for info too?” he asked his eyes glancing up. ”Next time you decide to sneak into somewhere take a better look at the cameras.” he said his hand pointing to two of them in the room. ”They’re on a loop for now. Unless you plan to be here for more then an hour or two then it should be as if nothing ever happened.” he told them. The main file he wanted was done now to wait for the rest. He would have a lot of reading to do tonight. ______________________________________________________ Key: Person to post next Song: Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Key: Thoughts; Dialouge

Snake shrugs and grumbles to himself, shaking his head. "Jedi, Sith, whatever the hell they are, does it really matter? Maybe I'm just a crusty old soldier, but I think the in depth discussions of who we all are and where we came from, and what we are, can wait till we're safely outside of this lab." he says lightly. Though the words probably sounded harsh, he didn't mean them as such. He was just somewhat abrasive to others, rather cynical as he'd been told. He continues searching for a few moments, before finally finding the piece he was looking for, noting that it seemed to blend in almost perfectly with its background. He slips it into one of his pouches, wondering where he'd find someone that could actually work with it, before turning his attention back to his companions.
"I don't really care for camera's." he says with a shrug. "Even if they see me, I'll be sure to not let them find me." he continues. He moves back to the area beneath his ventilation shaft, leaning easily against a wall. "I came for some technology to help me blend in with the area better, since it seems I'll need it. Revan apparently came for parts." he says casually. "I'd rather avoid fighting if I can, I prefer not having to engage an enemy I know almost nothing about. Engaging an unknown enemy tends to get people killed. I may not be the brightest guy, or a scientist, but I know how to fight at least." he says, waiting to see what the others would do. As he did so, his mind wandered over what he knew of the Vulture's troops, and what he still needed to learn and had to do here. It was something of an issue for him, since he had no information regarding this place. No back up, on site or off, and no real way to gather information except by listening in where he could. He was terrible with computers, so that didn't help his matters any. He was best at combat and stealth, and so far, it was all that was keeping him alive.

Revan blinked for a moment as the one known as Kira seemed to know what she was talking about. Well... that was unexpected. Someone from her galaxy? But Jedi or Sith... shit. It seemed that a problem had emerged. If he knew the difference between the two, then problems would emerge if she stated 'Sith.' But on the flip side, she had introduced herself to Snake as Revan. Which meant she would have to stick with that name. But if she said Revan, then there was a chance that he'd recognize the name. 'Oh what the hell.' Smiling politely, she spoke. “My name is Revan. I was raised by the Jedi Council on Coursant and Dantoinne.” Which was actually the truth, strangely enough. It felt weird not to lie about something like that. She chuckled at Snake's commentary, nodding in agreement. “Good point, though you are neither crusty or old, Snake.” 'As I'm probably a few hundred years older than you.' Grabbing a few items, she pocketed them in her robe before turning to the cameras.
Ah yes, the cameras. “I appreciate your concern, Kira, but it not necessary.” Cameras were the least of her worries. “And while my Stealth Field Generator is a little old, it seems to be quite effective against their sensors.” The Firrerreo turned to Snake, looking at the air duct for a moment. “I can understand the need for stealth, but I'm afraid I can't stand crawling through those damned things. They're so... tight.” And surprisingly enough, Revan hated small spaces. They reminded her of the crates they used to ship slaves in. She had been in too many of those as a little kid.
She was about to remark about how they should think about leaving when a large glass case in the corner caught her eye. Walking over, she looked the container over and was very shocked at what she found inside.
A lightsaber.
Actually, two lightsabers.
Staring, her expression remained blank as her eyes went up and down the silver handles. One was partially dismantled, the lens and the crystal removed from the hilts. The hilts themselves were customized, but that was to be expected. Every Jedi, every Sith made their own lightsaber. It was part of their training. They made the hilt, selected the crystal... it was actually a very important moment for the Padawan (or Apprentice). A lightsaber was also a Jedi or a Sith's life; it was almost a sign of weakness or even dishonor to lose it. Black markets could sell a lightsaber for ridiculous amounts of creds, but to the one who made it... it was priceless. Your lightsaber was part of you.
So what was a pair doing here?
Pulling out her own lightsabers, Revan sliced through the glass with ease, almost like a hot knife through butter. She then reached inside the container, pulling out the lightsabers and delicately re-assembling the one that had been so crudely taken apart. Looks like the people who had taken them had no idea how they worked. She attached the two lightsabers to her belt with a sigh before looking around.
She needed to find the owner of these. And if they were here, then she wouldn't be surprised if he or she was still lurking about this facility. Closing her eyes, she reached out with the Force, searching for another Force-sensitive presence. It was rather easy for her to go over the entire facility; she once used her powers to stretch across the galaxy to search for someone. Opening her eyes, Revan's gaze drifted over to Kira and Snake, and she smirked, her eyes gaining a hint of a malicious glint as anger bubbled inside her. It seems that there was work to be done. Once again adorning her mask, the former Jedi pulled out her own lightsabers, not turning them on but instead twirling them in her hands before proceeding to the door.
She turned around to Snake and Kira, bowing her head to them slightly. “If you wish to leave, I suggest you get moving soon. It's going to get a little loud.” As if on cue, a pair of guards rounded the corner, only to see Revan standing there. Before she had a chance to deal with them, one was already yelling into a communication device while the other was pulling out a weapon. Not even bothering to turn on her lightsabers, she raised her hand and the two guards were shoved against the wall by an invisible force with a sickening crack, their limp bodies falling broken to the door.
“If you would like for me to distract them so you two can escape,” The Firrerreo remarked, turning on her lightsabers as she prepared for another group of guards. “I'd be more than happy to do so.”
