"Used to leading?"
Zora said nothing in response, she only stared at Sincara before she continued.
"Save your protesting, I'm not giving orders, I'm telling you to hurry up so we can continue our sweep of the area."
For once in her life, the witch chose to remain silent and went into a small run to catch up. Stopping by Sincara's side and walking along with her as she kept her wand at the ready for anymore enemies that may appear to attack them. |

The Empress of Jherrazad now stood outside the barrier being generated from within the city. Seeing all of this play out in advance through her omniscience, Chloe sliced through the dimensional barrier with Kasul to take out the generator, breaking the barrier on the West side of the city and leading her army inside, Kaso and Alexander by her side as they made their advance. The Empress signaled her army to come to a stop when she saw Sincara and Zora up ahead. This city, while every bit as advanced as Isafaro, only had a few adults and two children to defend it and while Sincara has proven herself in the past, it wasn't enough to stop an army.
"Sincara!" Chloe called out. "Bring me Kain. His city is under siege. You don't have the numbers to stop me."

Sincara came to a stop and motioned for Zora to stop alongside her. She could sense them coming a mile away and the red sky up above told her that something even more devastating than the empire knocking down their door was going on elsewhere. At Chloe's declaration Sincara held up her Six Shooter and turned to Zora.
"Get the others."
Sincara then took a step forward and stared down the army, her gun at the ready for any that came forward.
"I should have let Tajna kill you."

"Sincara!"
Zora looked up ahead, surprise filling up her brown eyes as she saw the army that was heading their way. A pale woman with blue eyes and blonde hair, a giant knight clad in black armor and another knight between the other two in height who appeared as a cold blooded killer. Many helmet covered soldiers with swords and shields behind them ready for a bloodbath. The witch was starting to miss the zombies from before.
"Bring me Kain. His city is under siege. You don't have the numbers to stop me."
“Who are you?”
"Get the others."
“What? Are you crazy, you can't hold these people off by yourself.” |

Chloe's eyes fell upon the witch, seeing her selfish nature through the Life Force that dwell within her. Something that the Empress has only started to see recently, ever since the day Kasul absorbed Tajna Rasha soul into it. She could also see that Zora was severely inexperienced to this world, and that she was not ready for what awaited her. "I am Empress Chloe of the Jherrazad's Empire."
And she was no muggle. Turning her attention back to Sincara the other soldiers behind her had to refrain from laughing as the child stepped forward as if she was actually going to be able to do something on her own. Chloe envied the soldiers, they were still able to laugh. To smile. All that joy died in Chloe a long time ago. "You should have but you didn't."

Sincara wouldn't tell her again, besides she doubt the two of them would make much of a difference compared to just one of them. She had an idea to hold them off at least long enough for Zora to get to Kain. Without someone who knew how to use this technology all around them they were finished.
"What do you hope to gain from controlling the tower?"

“Y-you're Empress Chloe!?”
Zora was starstruck. For the first time in her life a real live vampire was standing right in front of her and it had to be under these circumstances with an army threatening to crush them. Figures.
"I said get the others! Now!"
Reluctantly, Zora began to take off and headed back to the point where the two teams split up to find Kain and Gabrielle. Looking back over her shoulder to Chloe and Sincara one more time before disappearing into the distance. |

"That is not your concern." The other soldiers were ready to go but Chloe kept them back. The time was not right for the battle to begin and if the soldiers under her command valued their lives, they'd listen. "Your concern should be with what happens to you if you're foolish enough to pull that trigger."

"Have any of you ever gone rock climbing?"
The soldiers had a confused look on their faces as they looked at each other.
"I didn't think so."
Sincara unloaded a bullet into the ground in front of the army and the magical properties hidden within the bullet cause the ground below them to cave and sending them crashing down into a large, deep hole that they would have to climb out of before turning around to rejoin with the others, having bought them just enough time to set up a defense.

Chloe thought she was kidding until the ground was taken out from under them and she, along with the rest of her army, was sent spiraling down a large hole that was created by the bullet. The army fell to the bottom of the hole, looking up to the surface above which was now a fair climb away from their reach. Chloe, Kaso and Alexander were the first ones to get up before the rest of their army. With no time to lose, Chloe stuck to the wall like a spider and began her ascent up the hole with the rest of her army following behind her.
Sincara would pay for this.
