June stood up from the bed and looked down at Utena, though she knew deep down she wasn't being rational she couldn't help but feel hurt that after all her tries to get Utena back into society she doesn't until someone named Aminee came along.

Utena wasn't sure where all of this was coming from. Jealousy was so unbecoming of a girl like June yet here she was clearly mad by the fact that it was someone else who got her out of the woods and her mind was connecting dots that weren't there in the first place. She was disappointed.
"I'm sorry you feel that way."
Utena sat up from the bed and without sparing another glance at June began to head for the window.

That was it? That was all she had to say for herself? June was ready to go off on her for such a short response but she saw that Utena was already heading out the window before she could say anything.
“Wait!”
June ran pass the girl and then stood between her and the window so she could talk to her.

Before she could reach the window to climb out of it June had blocked her path looking upset but Utena would offer no apology.
"Back to the hotel. Look, June, I'm not going to play games with you. Either you believe that there is nothing between me and Aminee or you don't. It's just that simple."

June took Utena by the hand and guide her back to the bed and sat down.

Utena was glad to see that that was over as she allowed June to lead her back to the bed. When June asked where they had left off Utena replied, "Here," placing her hands on either side of June's cheeks and leaned forward, her lips finding June's in a kiss. The kiss was soft and tender at first, Utena's hands caressing her cheeks as the former champion gently laid June back down against her bed, forgetting the fact that her parents were just down the hall. The kiss grew deeper as more passion poured into it, no words were needed between them as it became more than obvious how Utena felt about her once their lips finally met. Her hands remained on June's cheeks as Utena came up for air and stared into her eyes lovingly. Moving a string of hair from June's face, smiling at the girl underneath her before coming back down for another kiss.

June was caught by surprise at the kiss, her eyes widening at first and her first instincts telling her to push Utena away but when the girl started to lay her down on the bed, June decided to just go with it. Closing her eyes and embracing the kiss as Utena stroked her cheeks. Not caring that her parents were right down the hall and could be attracted to the room if they happened to be loud enough. Wrapping her arms around Utena's back, hands massaging it up and down, June kissed Utena back just as passionately before Utena broke the kiss. June's eyes staring up at her, longing for more and would get just that as Utena came down for another kiss and June would not deny her. |

Utena could see the desire written all over June's eyes, the desire for her touch and she would not leave June wanting. Their lips met again, meanwhile Utena's hands ran up her cheeks and traveled through her hair, massaging her scalp while her own body responded positively to June's back massage. In the midst of all of this Anthy flashed through the former Champion of Ohtori's mind and it caused her to break the kiss. Guilt plainly seen on her visuals as she thought about the woman she had given her heart to previously. She was being unfaithful.
"I can't do this."
Utena pulled herself off of June and then stood up from the bed.
"I'm sorry."

June was ready and she trusted Utena completely, a soft moan escaping her lips and being muffled out only by the former Champion of Ohtori's lips while her hands came up to massage her scalp. Then all of a sudden, just as June was starting to come out of her shell, without warning she would feel the cool air hit her lips again as Utena broke the kiss only this time getting up from the bed.
"I can't do this. I'm sorry."
“Wait!”
June quickly sat up and grabbed Utena's hand to prevent her from going any further.
“What is it, Utena? What's the matter?” |

Utena didn't get one foot away from the bed before June grabbed her by the hand and begged to know what was preventing them from being together. With a heavy heart and a pained expression on her face, the former Champion of Ohtori looked down and into the eyes of June and replied, "Anthy. I cannot do this because of Anthy."

June was afraid of that. Though the nature of their relationship was still a mystery it was no mistake that Utena and Anthy were close. Which only made June angry at the fact Utena was starting to have feelings for her when she were allegedly in love with another woman.

Utena sat back down on the bed, collecting her thoughts while keeping a hole of June's hand and stroking the back of her palm as she looked into her eyes.
"I love you, June."
Utena wrapped her hands around June's now and held it to her chest.
"I love you with all of my heart. I think about you night and day, you're the only part of my life right now that brings me true happiness. But I never stopped loving Anthy. She's searching for me right now. Hoping to be reunited with me and if she caught me with you it would break her heart. That's why I feel so guilty, it's no fair to either you or her. I'm sorry."

June was expecting a lot of things to follow her question, but out of all the scenarios of what Utena would say “I love you” was the last thing she expected to part from her lips and she was unprepared for that.
"I love you with all of my heart. I think about you night and day, you're the only part of my life right now that brings me true happiness. But I never stopped loving Anthy. She's searching for me right now. Hoping to be reunited with me and if she caught me with you it would break her heart. That's why I feel so guilty, it's no fair to either you or her. I'm sorry."
June pulled her hand away from Utena and scooted away from her, a mixture of emotions planted on her face but the one that weighed in the most was one of pain.
“I can't wait forever. You have to choose now.” |

Utena was afraid those would be the words to follow. Choose. But she couldn't, she owed it to Anthy to at least try to wait for her though there were no telling how long she'd be waiting and that wasn't fair to June either. Why did she have to kiss her? Had Utena just kept their relationship as friends with the romantic feelings under the surface then maybe this wouldn't be as hard. Then again there was a chance it would have been even worse if that was the case. Utena could only sigh as no matter how much she scolded herself mentally the choice has already been made and there was no going back.

June slipped back underneath the covers and pulled them up over her, her head now resting against the pillow and back turned to Utena as she closed her eyes to drift off to sleep. Nothing more were going to happen tonight and June needed her rest for tomorrow.
“Don't forget to close the window on your way out.” |
