Gabrielle followed behind Kain, turning to look over to Zora while doing so.
"Behave."
The last thing she needed was to come back to find the two girls at each other's throats which led her to question Kain's decision to pair them up together.
"Are you sure that was such a good idea? Pairing those two up."

"Too convenient."
Sincara answered Zora.
"And I doubt I could."
Came her reply to Zora's last statement before nodding to the orders given by Kain before he and Gabrielle headed north. While the witch wasn't her first choice for a partner Sincara would work with her, provided she wasn't completely worthless.
"Shall we?"

"Cryostasis."
“That's what I said. Cyrostasis.”
Idiot.
"The act of cooling to sub zero temperatures. It preserves the body and prevents it from aging."
Zora blinked. Strange people, these muggles. Why would they want to freeze themselves in such a matter?
"Permission granted. Zora, you will join Sincara in investigating the west side of the city while Gabrielle and I head north to the edge of the city. Come, Gabrielle."
“Hey! Wait just one minute!”
The young witch couldn't believe that they actually paired her up with this muggle. Zora would have preferred Gabrielle or Kain to this but her protest would go on deaf ears as the two headed north.
"Behave."
“Bite me.”
"Shall we?"
“Just try not to get in my way. Magic can be unpredictable.”
Zora took her wand back out and headed west to investigate the newly reconstructed city. |
