Kasey's tail flicked behind her in a frantic dance as her feet pounded against the pavement, several members of the Isafaro police force chasing after her as she made her way through the twisted maze of alleyways.
She grimaces as she hears them gaining on her, and turns down a side alley, only making it a few yards before stopping in her tracks at the sight of two more police force members blocking her path, as well as an armoured behemoth in between the two. Her eyes widen, and she turns to go back the other way, but finds it blocked by the ones that had been chasing her, boxing her into the alleyway.
Her head shoots back and forth between the two groups closing in on her and then she sees the fire escape going up the side of the building, and sprints towards it, leaping into the air toward it.
Her fingers are about to gain purchase on the metal railing when a shot rings out, a charge exploding right in the air in front of her and sending her flying to the pavement in a heap.
Before she can pick herself up, several of the police pounce on her, yanking her arms behind her and cuffing them before pulling the dazed Mai to her feet. Her head hangs limply as they drag her towards the armored giant that had ruined her escape.

The two guards pulled the Mai before the Battleborn, his white eyes emotionless as she was thrown in front of him. "If you decide the tactic of running again," Aracrix's pistol, Pain, seemed to magically disappear from his grip, "I will end your life painfully."
The demi-god reached down to pick up Kasey, his massive hand grabbing her by the neck roughly. His massive strength tight around her throat, barely able to let her breath. "I am taking you to the Isafaroain forces. What they decide to do from there is their own course." Aracrix said as he turned and the guards moved out of his way.
He stepped out into the main street, his massive size taking the whole side walk. The passing citizens did wise to move around him. This contract was to easy, the Mai had ran dishonorably instead of staying to fight for her cause. It sickened The Battleborn, wanting to crush her in his grasp.

Kasey gasps as the hulking armored soldier grabs her around the throat, lifting her off her feet, and she chokes as he brings her face close to his.
Still in a daze, she is unable to hear his exact words, but instictively knows that they are not of the good. She is unable to do anything as he carries her out of the alleyway and into the streets, all the way to the nearest precinct.
About ten minutes later she is shoved into a barred cell, and the handcuffs are removed. She collapses onto the bed against the wall as the bohemoth presses his foot into her back and knocks her forward so that they can get the door shut before she can escape again.
With tears in her eyes, she pulls herself into a sitting position against the wall, her legs pulled up to her chest and her tail lying limply on the bed next to her. She lets out a sob and then goes silent when the guard outside her cell yells at her to shut up.
She wipes her sleeve against her face, clearing the tears from her eyes and looks out through the bars to see the soldier who had grabbed her by the throat standing there with a cold look on his face.
"Come to gloat?" the purple haired Mai asks miserably, her eyes searching the soldier's and shuddering at the iciness coming from them.

Aracrix was on his way out of the precinct, till the captian of the guard stopped him. "The Lords have said that you are to stay here, keep an eye on the Mai. She... is a tricky one I persume. They want you on her case specifically," the man said, causing the The Battleborn to narrow his eyes. However he didn't say anything and returned to the cell. It was his honorable duty to do till the Lords said otherwise.
To answer her question, Aracrix crossed his arms, leaning against the wall, "Don't wellow in self pity Mai. Its unbecoming." His voice was dark and heavy, weighted down by the constant burning rage. "Apparently you have connections to powerful enemies of the state. I am here to make sure that you stay were you belong."

"I didn't even do anything!" Kasey denies vehemently. "I don't know anyone like that, I swear."
She turns her head away, focusing on the floor so she wouldn't have to face her apparent new tormenter. A stray tear rolls down the side of her face, the side that is out of view of the man as she realizes she is well and truly f**ked, no escape for her this time.
"Are they going to execute me?" She questions, her eyes still on the floor, and her sadness turned to complete resignation to her fate. She was tired of being afraid, maybe she wouldn't be for much longer.

Grey was glad for his speed and quick thinking; else he might actually have been noticed as the great looming god of a man walked past. Utilizing his rather prized skill at stealth and speed, he figured the walking wall of metal would know where the prison was; which was his target.
"A prison break would be awfully inconvienient for the Isafarian Military, don't you think good Knight?" He remembered his sister asking slyly, and remembered the grin he'd had at the thought of guards helplessly trying to round up all those prisoners while Grey's scythe flashed down wildly at any guards silly enough to be in his way. This monster in front of one of the cells was different, however; the armor had a magic aura to it, and for Grey, that was bad news.
He crept, impossible to detect while the massive demi-god gave words of "hope" to a girl in the cage; similar to one a clone of his had reported. He shook his head, and brought his scythe up, slamming it hard against the chest armor of the large man; but his pistol came out in a flash as well, and he fired rapidly at the entrance of every door, and then at the feet of the man.
"Drea" he muttered, and all the bullets fired exploded violently; doors and walls ripped asunder, and many seizing thier chance to escape. Grinning, he jumped back; there was no way his scythe penetrated that armor.
"Hmph, you look like you could be a nuisance." Grey said to the man, and chuckled, readying scythe and jumping; smashing through several floors and then to the courtyard to aid the escapees.
His scythe flashed down, but he knew that the man in metal would be there soon, or at least he hoped; that poor girl looked just about lost for hope.

The demi-god turned to ignore the girl, turning his chest right into the attack of the scythe. The tip of the blade would have bented from the powerful enchantments of his armor and Aracrix alike. The Battleborn looked down at the young attacker, only to be shallowed by the exploding of the rounds.
The breaking of the ground at his feet caused Aracrix to crumble through the floor to a lower level. He was unharmed, but that still didn't lessen his anger. "How dare that coward attack and run!"" he shouted as he leapt to the air, his powerful legs allowing him to leap great distances. The only problem was his own escape caused further damage to the cell floors, breaking away for a small girl to escape.
Moving through the air, Aracrix came down almost right on top of the attacker, about fifty or so to his front. However The Battleborn unleashed his blade geyser magic, causing blades of vicious quality and magic to sprout thirty feet around him. The attack killed many of the escaping convicts, the survivors turning tale to other exits. As the blades disappeared, Aracrix turned on Grey.
With surprising speed from his super strength and natural divine qualities, The Battleborn was on Grey almost immediately, swiping with his massive sword in a nine o clock to three o clock slash. If the attack hit, the magic in the blade would slice the man in two. However powerful metals or a quick dodge would be the best to escape it. In Aracrix's left hand was Pain, his pistol, which he would fire at grey if the sword attack missed.

Kasey's eyes went wide at the fight that had just started outside of her cell, her tail flicking from her nerves. She dives off and then rolls under the bed as soon as she catches sight of the guns being brought out. She'd always been terrified of them.
She presses herself against the wall beneath the bed, watching as the two faced off, and hoping that she doesn't get shot in the chaos.

Grey's scythe blade was unharmed and , not surprisingly, at the man's pistol hand before he could even near completing half his swing; he considered this man somewhat slow, and even cumbersome. The wall of sheet metal's only real offense so far had been magic swords; but a physical magic, nonetheless, and his powerful swinging arm; by far the fastest he'd seen so far, but still slow to the youth, who was now travelling closer to light speed. His scythe slashed viciously at the pistol, though realizing it too was magic when a scratch did not appear.
He retreated, and returned to a normal pace, and chuckled. "Come now, it's no fun if you're both slow and annoying!" Grey mocked, and another two Grey's appeared; the and then Grey seemed scarily determined. Looking at the blood bath below, one sighed, and he shook his head, seemingly in disapproval.
"Let's play a game I like to call "Tag"." Grey called, and then all three disappeared, and then reappeared in front, behind and blow, all grinning scarily. "I'll even slow down for you!" They said, smirking with delight.

Aracrix stood, annoyed himself at the fool's attempt to hurt him. Pain remained unharmed and Armagedden, his sword had missed its mark. A scrowl appeared on The Battleborn's lips as the tree appeared around him. This mortal's speed was his main advantage, plus he had the power to duplicate himself.
As the boy spoke, Aracrix again unleashed his Blade Geyser attack, impaling the one below and to his rear. At the same time, he fired his chain guanlet to attempt to attach itself to the one in front, the magical chain homing in on its target. If it attached itself, the strength of the divinely enchanted chain would not let the boy escape unless cutting of its own leg.

Grey let the two clones die; they knew it was time to play 'tag', which meant one on one in reality. Getting caught by the harsh gauntlet and feeling it's tightened grip, he nonethelss forced a smile as he now raced, chain attached, at the man, his pistol suddenly sounding like a million cannons; and it wasn't entirely innaccurate to say so. Even in the vice that held him, he increased his speed again; something terrifying as the bullets all nearly froze in mid air, at least to Grey. He then drew close and slashed the man with his scythe, around and around before finally getting caught up in the chain tight up against the man in steel. Even a small vortex momentarily appeared from the speed. But Grey suddenly disappeared; the attacks commencing, the clone destroyed as a final shot from Grey Everlost; the real Grey Everlost.
"Hmm, you seem to be a bit tied up." Grey murmured, and the bullets all indented into his adversaries armor; and exploded on contact. While the explosions where only small considering, they still enveloped the man.
His foster sister watched on from the side, and noticed the small woman huddling in the corner. "Should I do something about her?" Lia Eclipse asked herself, and shook her head, knowing full well she might be biting off more than both her and Grey could handle in helping this girl.
Grey, on the other hand, silently hoped that this time he'd done some damage; too many foes in this realm had magic to counter him, and he hated being second best to anyone.

The chain just unravelled, returning the gauntlet. However the explosions again covered his body, rocking him only a little bit. Aracrix still unharmed, due to the light attacks shook his head, "You think you would learn from all this already?" The Battleborn asked the now what seemed to be the fourth version of this body.
"You see that your mission has failed," Aracrix looking at the newly captured escapees and the dead ones on the ground due to The Son of War's earlier attacks. "The Isafarian military is already incompassing the area."
Multiple helicopters and armed personel entered the area. They aimed their weapons at the young man, Aracrix pointing his blade at him, "You can surrounder now, you will be given an honorable death. I may now even give you permission for a last rite."

Kasey let out an 'eep' as security forces filled the hallways, and she broke out of her shock finally, reaching out and pulling the sheet down over the side of the bed, obscuring herself from their sight.
She winces as she hears the booming voice of the man who had captured her announce that the entire place was swarming with re-enforcements, and sent out a silent prayer to the foolish souls who had broken into a prison.
She hears someone enter her cell, their footsteps passing right next to her hiding spot, and then lets out a yelp as who ever it is reaches under the bed and drags her out by the ankle.
"I didn't do it!" she screams in terror, her claws coming out instinctively and leaving gouges on the floor as she is pulled out of relative safety.

And the one who had her held by the ankle...
Turned out to be even less humane than the one who had brought her here
“You are in violation of Isafaro code 00687.32 and are to be transferred to a Maximum Security Center.”
A machine. A cold, heartless, soulless machine that didn't know nor understand humanity. The perfect soldier.
“Further resistance will result in your immediate termination.”

Grey sighed rather exasperated and shook his head. He looked to his opponent and ceekily yelled to him, definitely seeming prepared for the worst. "Pfft, geez, both ugly AND holier-than-thou! Someone like you should be like a monument to ugly. Hell, a monument to stupidity!"
Grey laughed and the helicopters just erupted; Grey's scythe only slightly moving direction to indicate that he had indeed already moved to dispatch the pestering 'mosquitoes" that hung above him. He shook his head, and his face was now cold, his eyes glowing slightly. "Tch, someone who wears such heavy armor is hardly any fun to fight. But at least phase 2 can begin now, aye?" Grey said simply.
Obviously fear crept up on him; but this time it was literal fear, in the form of a dark aura that only seemed to propel Grey's next attack on the man. Racing to an incredible speed, he slashed with all his strength to finally cut through the armor; but was stopped when it connected. He rebounded helplessly, and shouted in surprise at just how stalwart this man was; a defense even Grey might not be able to break. He regained balance after losing so much speed, and jumped back quickly to avoid any sort of capitalization on momentary weakness.
"Tch, your armors a nuisance, you know that?"
