"I trust your affairs are in order."
Not even.
"I'm leading a team to investigate the tower's current activity. The two of you coming?"
Zora didn't know what to say, all of this was happening so fast and as she was looking between them the Young Witch noticed Gabrielle's eyes staring straight into hers.
"Are we?"
There was a moment's pause as Zora thought it over and then...
“Y-yes. This time yes.”
Came the Young Witch's decision. The Downward Spiral was her only chance to get home and if someone was messing with it then why she even had to think about it before was beyond her understanding at the moment. That and plus if there were enemies that meant she got to unleash some aggression stored up for Gabrielle on people she could actually hex.
“Let's go.” |

Kain nodded and gathered up the few camels the refugees had left, many of which was stolen from Jherrazad except for Gabrielle's which was actually bought and paid for. After doing so Kari's leader got up on his camel and led the group to the Downward Spiral and the source of the disturbance. |
