Upon hearing that her only remaining friend in Moon Valley was in the hospital the Pop Idol decided it would be a good idea to pay her a visit. Entering the hospital with a couple of balloons and a 'get well soon' card in her hand, she walked up to the front of the lobby and asked where her room was. Once she was directed to her room, Aminee came in with a smile on her face and left the balloons by her side before handing her the card. "Hey, Utena. How are you feeling?"

Utena smiled upon seeing Aminee walk in with some balloons and a card in hand, not thinking herself worth the fuss but she was still too weak to put up much of a protest.
"Hi."
She examined the colorful set of balloons the Pop Idol had given her before looking over the card, opening it up to read its contents.
"Dearest friend of whom I love, get well soon. Awe! You shouldn't have."
Utena closed the card up and handed it back to Aminee for her to put on the nearby table.
"Still weak but the doctor said I should be cleared to go in a couple of weeks. How have you been since the whole... end of the world ordeal."

"I wanted to," replied Aminee while pulling up a nearby chair and sitting down next to Utena's bed. "Glad to hear it. How did you get injured anyway? Nobody is saying anything." Aminee grew quiet at Utena's question for a moment but quickly snapped herself out of it. "I'm dealing. I still don't think Kara is coming back."

"June and I were attacked by a wolf while out in the forest. I was able to step in before the wolf could do anything to June. It's funny, I've gone in and out of that forest for months since first coming here and I never ran into many wolves before."
Utena noticed the pause from Aminee when she asked her question. That said it all right there. It didn't come as any surprise to Utena however. Aminee was being asked to accept a lot in such a short amount of time. Not just the realty of an afterlife but being able to cheat that afterlife and return to the land of the living. That was a lot for Utena to swallow as well and she's already been faced with questioning reality itself when she discovered her life was an Anime TV series here. Aminee was definitely dealing with things better than Utena had when faced with shocking revelations.
"Is it because you don't think it's possible, or you don't think she would bother?"
Utena was leaning more towards the latter than the former herself. From what she understood the afterlife was supposed to be a place of absolute paradise. No pain, no regrets. Why would anyone want to walk away from all of that? Then again there were also the belief that there was a place of only pain to go with it. Now walking away from that anybody could understand but Utena doubt that was something you just walked away from, otherwise this place would be crawling with the undead. Well unless you subscribed to the atheist world view. Even so Utena couldn't see why Kara would be sent there with all the good she's done so the first option was more likely to her limited mind. But that all it was. Limited.

"June... June... I don't believe I know who that is." Aminee tried to put a face to the name but could only draw up a blank. Most likely one of the natives who lived in this part of Jherra. A friend of Kara perhaps. The Pop Idol never did have time to get to know Kara and her friends. She barely knew her but Kara treated her the same as all her other friends. She was definitely a special girl and it angered her to know that she was gone and her body along with her.
"It just doesn't sound plausible. I know we've witnessed some strange things already so I'm not ruling anything out it just... I can't wrap my head around it. The souls we knew were already in the Kasul didn't move on, she has. It's two very different scenarios being presented. I guess we'll see, won't we?"

"She was one of Kara's friends. The little brunette who always liked to wear pink and blue. She goes to the Junior High School out here."
Pink and blue, Utena's favorite colors. It wasn't long before the former Champion of Ohtori was thinking about the fellow Junior High student again. She had everything going on for her; the natural beauty, the intelligence and the courage to get the job done. It gave her peace of mind just thinking about her but then guilt crept up to the back of it.
What about Anthy?
Anthy was searching for her through worlds, that much was certain after seeing the DVD June was polite enough to show her. What would happen if she did find her and learned she's been with another girl all this time?
What about her? Anthy and I are just good friends.
That what she kept telling herself anyway. Utena tuned back into her surroundings just in time for Aminee to give her thoughts on the afterlife theory of returning from the dead.
"I wouldn't mind if it were true but at the same time I feel selfish for saying that. June didn't just lose one friend she lost two after the previous attack on Moon Valley. And while I would love for both to come back so she could be happy again what right do I have to ask that of the dead?"

"I see. What were you two doing in a forest at night?" A fair question considering they nearly got themselves killed and the Pop Idol already lost one friend, she didn't care about losing another. Aminee was trying to think of a polite way to say she had no interest in discussing the topic of a possible afterlife or afterlives without coming off as rude, which was an unfortunate drawback in her personality as she had came off as aggressive several times in the past without meaning to. "Don't worry about it. You have other things to focus on, like getting well. We can't let 'what-ifs' run our lives, you know?"

"It was my fault," replied Utena sadly. "I was speaking with June and then lost control of myself. I ran away but June followed me out of concern and ended up running into a wolf. That's when I step in and fought the wolf off. I received my injuries from there."
Utena shook her head at her foolish decision. Had she just managed to keep under control June would have saw no need to go after her. But instead June nearly got seriously injured all because of her, and Utena weren't worth injuries she didn't care what the scenario was.
"You're right. So, any plans on saying in Moon Valley long-term? This town sure could use a Pop Idol in their daily lives."

"Lost control?" Aminee raised an eyebrow towards her friend and looked at her while she began to assume the worse inside of her mind, afraid to ask what she meant by 'lost control' but managed to work up the courage to ask the question that needed to be asked. "What did you do to her, Utena?" Aminee crossed her legs on the chair and thought about Utena's next question, remembering all the songs she had sang in her life and how she hasn't worked on any new ones in the longest time. "I don't know. I go where the resistance needs me more or less. I haven't as so much written a new song since coming here. What's the point?"

Utena didn't want to answer but knew that it would only make her look worse than she already did if she refused to.
"I never told you what I found out here, did I?"
The former Champion of Ohtori dreaded the fact that she had to repeat this story again but she took a deep breath and continued, "My life here, my whole life, has just been an animated TV show that people watch for their own entertainment."
It pained her to repeat this story. Every time she did she could see the faces of all the people she murdered in the midst of her blind rage. A tear fell down her cheek as she bear with it and continued, "I snapped when I found out. I started hurting people who liked the show, thinking they were laughing at me. Laughing at everything I've gone through like it was some joke. I didn't know what was real anymore. Not until I met June. And June, she showed me a scene from the show when I asked her to, and still, still I snapped at her. Feeling betrayed that she too has taken enjoyment out of my life. I attacked her with a knife but stopped myself before I could hurt her."
Utena looked away not wanting to see whatever expression was on Aminee's face right now after hearing the news; shock, anger, she just didn't want to see it. Nor did she want the Pop Idol to see the tears she were shedding at the memory of it all. It was her fault that June was ever put in danger and in her mind she rightfully deserved the wolf attack. She deserved death for the things she's done, the families she's destroyed. Maybe that's why she charged so willingly into the fray when that monster attacked them. Maybe deep down inside a part of her wanted to die for the sins she's committed. Utena finally would look back at Aminee again on a different topic.
"The point is you enjoy it. You shouldn't give it up altogether, Aminee. The people here could use some enjoyment to get their minds off their trouble. You have the power to do that."

Aminee couldn't believe what she was hearing. Utena's realm in this one was a TV show? That kind of a god, creator, or whatever was in charge of existence would set things up in such a way? Why in the hell would you create a bunch of realms then have one leak over to the other via a television show? Were all shows found on TV a reality all its own then? No wonder Utena had lost her mind, the Pop Idol could feel pain coming from her own skull just thinking about it. "Utena, I am so sorry you had to go through all of that. I can't even imagine what it must have been like for you."
"I don't know, Utena. I don't think I have it in me anymore."

It was terrible having everything you knew to be true pulled out from under you like a chair allowing you to fall on your ass. She wondered if Anthy were dealing with the same thing right now. Did she discover the hard way that their lives was a TV show here? Or in some other reality that wasn't their own? How was she dealing with it? Would it break her too? Should Utena be searching for her instead of the reverse? All these thoughts filled her head but there was nothing she could do now until she got well. Anything to the contrary was just giving her unnecessary stress.
"Talent just doesn't go away like that. And you can't let your demons run your life forever. Run a comb through your hair, put on some makeup, wear what you want, get up on stage and sing to your heart's content we both know it what you want to do more than anything."

Utena wasn't going to let this topic go without a fight and that gave Aminee an idea. "Okay, I'll cut you a deal. If you agree to stop living in the forest and apply for school, I'll perform at the Razor's Edge." It would be good for both of them. Utena needed to get out of the forest and back into public life without being afraid just as much as Aminee needed to take up singing and dancing again without being afraid. "Deal?"

Any hint of a smile was wiped away completely from Utena's face when Aminee made that deal offer.
"That hardly seems fair."
Didn't she understand that she was a danger to all of those around her? This most recent case with June was evidence of that. Returning to the public square was the last thing she needed to do. It'd be much better for everyone if Utena just stayed in isolation where those who wanted to find her just couldn't. But where would that be? So far isolation in the forest of Moon Valley has failed time and time again.

"Utena, I understand you're afraid of hurting people but you need to learn self control not go into isolation. It's not good for you." Aminee were pleading with her now. She wanted Utena to be able to enjoy the company of others again without having to fear that at any moment she could snap and being in a public school could help her on the road to recovery. In a public place she could easily be restrained before she did any serious damage and the Pop Idol would see to it herself that she didn't bring any knives on campus. Obviously Utena would never be able to get the Rapier pass security. "Do it for me."
