Drake stood with his book in his hand and listened to the commotion as some reacted to him, others, well other ignored Drake as it seemed. "Red Skull? Drake laughed a little, "That is just about one of the silliest names I have ever heard, besides this genius with the gun pointing at me," Drake pointed at Rookie. "And don't worry, if i wanted to fight you I wouldn't have come looking like this, now would I?" Drake spoke with a snarky voice. "My name is Drake, Drake Terrordam, I am a shapeshifter and a demon. This," he opens his arms wide gesturing to himself "is my normal form. I'm from Earth, believe it or not, human. I have relished ravaging so many your pathetic cities." He looked at Saturn with her smart-ass comments, "I know you sense the evil off me, and I know you think I'm hear to fight, but I'm not, for once. Fighting is growing tiring for me, fighting for over a 1000 years isn't exactly easy." Drake looked back at the hobbit by the name of Sam. "Don't worry Sam, I'm not hear to rob, or to kill anyone. Just here for a friendly chat."

Keeping the smile on in light of Sam's introduction Yuna proceeded to introduce herself, "I'm Yuna, from Besaid. It's nice to meet you." Yuna turned back around to the others, frowning at both Ayen and Saturn now as they were behaving rudely towards Drake just because of his outer appearance. The High Summoner learned a long time ago that you should never judge a book by its cover. Rejoining with the others, Yuna would be the first, hopefully not only, person among them to offer Drake a kind smile before giving her name.
"I'm Yuna. This is Ayen-" She nodded over to the blonde male, "And Saturn-" She nodded to the dark headed female. It was hard to miss her anyways with the polearm and her choice of outfit. "Ayen and I were just on our way to Hallowton to take a ship to the nearest continent next to this one until we ran into all of you."

The Soldier of Silence didn't trust easily and wouldn't take Drake, or any of them, solely at their word. Especially when they were filled with evil as this man was. After he spoke her Youma theory became even more likely as they were often made from humanoids like herself. Drake would be able to see no surprise on her face to hearing he was human and from Earth but the distrust in her violet hues remained the same.
"We'll see."
Is all she said to the man for now. Her glance on the Rookie now, a man more silent than she in this exchange and then the miniature who Yuna were consoling not too long ago. It seemed the brunette was far too trusting. A trait that she would one day come to regret.
"Ayen, from what I understand you are the only one here familiar with the area. Fill us in, if you'd please."

Said Ayen sarcastically.

"Earth. Isn't that what you mentioned earlier?"

"You live for over a thousand years?"
Forget fighting, who could live that long? Most people he knew didn't even like being 30.

Sure, now she says please. When there's people around...
"This planet is named Genesis, you're on a continent called Jherra. This is the Crystal Expanse which stands at the heart of the continent reaching out through a green frield on one side and a black desert on the other. The only city here was a place called Crystal City but that has been bent over backwards by some strange evil force so it's a ghost town. Anything else?" |

"Thank you for filling me in. It was the strangest thing..I was out for a walk in my hometown- The Shire" He said looking at Ayen. " That's when I found a curious sort of rock. I picked it up, all turned white, and I found myself here." Sam explained, remembering the event. He squinted at Drake. What a peculiar fellow! However, it was sometimes best to give someone the benefit of the doubt. You never knew how useful they might turn out to be. Sam had been surprised by people he thought were dodgy before. He flashed a crooked grin Drake's way before turning back to the others.

While they were reminiscing on how they got here Yuna explained, "A strange tower appeared in my home and I was requested to investigate it. After I got inside a white light blinded me and the next thing I knew I was here..." The High Summoner looked over to see that very tower overhead a terrible storm brewing over it, perhaps an omen of things to come? Yuna dismissed it for now and looked back to the others. She was sure this next offer would upset Ayen but it wouldn't stop her, "You are all welcomed to come with us to Hallowton. Perhaps you guys can find something to help you there."

A strange evil force that created a ghost town? Saturn looked up to see the very top of what she could only assumed was Crystal City on the opposite view of where Yuna looked to see the tower. The Soldier of Silence wondered where all that evil energy was coming from and knew it couldn't just be from a single Youma. Even if this entire group she was with turned out to be evil they wouldn't be able to produce the energy coming from that town. It made her wonder.
"Is there anything else you can tell us about what did this to Crystal City?"
Saturn's eyes then turned to the others. While the miniature and brunette was fine with sharing how they got here the Soldier of Silence would work on a strict "need-to-know" basic. It worked in the past and there was no reason why it wouldn't work now. Already Yuna had offered to help all of them and Saturn could see only disaster from that course of action as she whispered quietly to Ayen.
"Taking them all with us is a bad idea. Speak up."

Sam shuddered as he too felt the strange bad feeling as he gazed in the direction of the towers. The discomfort was similar to the feeling Sam had experienced when he had borne the One Ring of power so many years ago, but less evil. Sam mentally shook himself, trying my to reflect on those times. Averting his attention to the here and now, he rested a heavily callused hand on the hilt if his sword and tried to think about what to do next. The others probably dd not trust him yet-Sam for one would certainly not trust a bunch of suspicious looking figures ether, were he in their place. Oh, well, he thought. A time and place would arise when he would prove himself usefull.
At Ayen's offer of transportation, Sam merely shrugged and said, "I'm definetly not aware of the reason I'm here. Strange things seem to follow me 'round, no matter where I go."

Drake observed as a few people in the group turned their head towards the giant tower over yonder. He stood and listened to their tales of how they all got here. "Yep, living and breathing for about 1030 years if my memory serves me correct." Drake, with his book in his hand pulled it in front of his to reexamine the cover making sure it wasn't to beat up. He glanced up and looked at the tower, Drake looked back down at this ensemble and saw that they all sensed evil coming from the tower. He smiled and put his mask on his face, securing the straps to the back of his head. He let out a laugh at these people. Drake was used to this kind of evil all the time in hell so seeing it here made no difference to him.

“Sorry, I don't know much more. Possibly the same power that destroyed the city that later became Crystal City. Before Crystal City was built the place was originally called 'Aircano' which was a small village south from our current position in-between Jherrazad and Moon Valley. An unknown and powerful force attacked the city, blew up and now for whatever reason we have two suns in the sky.”
Ayen pointed up to the suns above. He still never fully gotten used to having an extra twelve hours in the day and night. A lot of people haven't. Sure, they always did wanted more time in the day but now that it was finally here it felt so overwhelming, so boring. If only they could turn back the clock and have a singular sun again.
"You are all welcomed to come with us to Hallowton. Perhaps you guys can find something to help you there."
“Wait, what?”

“What is this we you're talking about?”
Ayen looked to Drake, then Sam, then Saturn again and finally to Yuna.

Right on cue. Yuna looked over to Ayen and replied, "Anything you have to say to me can be said in front of the others..." The High Summoner spoke clearly and firmly indicating to Ayen that she had no intention of withdrawing her offer, especially considering it's only to escort them all to Hallowton where they could go their separate ways and all of them haven't even accepted the offer yet. The boy would soon find out that when Yuna put her mind to something she was determined to see it through to the end. She was very stubborn that way, as her friends would tell you.

"Is there a chance we could run into the force that caused it?"
Saturn wasn't interested in the affairs of this world, it was none of her business nor was it her concern. What was her concern though was getting back to her solar system so she could fulfill the duty that has awakened her so it was good to know what all could potentially stand in the way of her goal. As Yuna and Ayen began their little exchange and Yuna insisted that what Ayen had to say could be said in front of the others Saturn decided to speak on his behalf, not interested in wasting any time with what Ayen would or wouldn't do in response.
"We can't trust them."
She spoke plainly and bluntly, not caring for the feelings of those around her.
"It is foolish of you to invite them along."

Drake stood and watched the three argue on whether they should talk in private, tell everyone, or talk in private. Drake stepped forwarded getting into this "battle".
"Okay, listen,"
Drake said with an irritated voice,
"Stop this bickering. Purple Girl, if you don't trust us I'm cool with that, I understand, I don't trust any of you, but if we have all sat here and talked about ourselves,"
Drake took a breath and thought about what to say next to prove a point.
"You said yourself that you could sense the evil radiating off of me. I am going to take a stab and say that I'm the most evil person here, correct?
Drake spoke with determination to hear what was going to be said.
"So I think Blonde can tell us what this information is without the fear someone is going to betray us."
Drake opened his arms, book in hand, gesturing to the few people behind him.
"If I am the thing to betray you, the are at least five of you to attack me, and I'm not in the mood for a bloody battle, especially against some damn mage."

Sam nodded after listening to Drake's small piece. "Well said, well said." Sam said, clapping a little. He then nervously addressed Sailor Saturn. "If anyone here was to go bad, Miss, I'd say that it probably woulden't be me. Not to brag or anything of the sort, but I spend seven years trying to destroy the most evil thing in existence-and I succeeded. There ain't a chance of me going down that road, if you follow me." he finished earnestly.
