Daniel takes pride in his appearance. He was brought up under a strict household that put presentation first. He wears a clean and pressed pair of shorts, a fitted dress shirt, and a vest. His style of clothing is very old fashioned and reminiscent of the 1920’s. He has short black hair and large brown eyes, which shift to a reddish-purple upon the use of his powers. Daniel stands at 4’ 8” and appears to be 10 years old, despite the fact he is really 191 years old.
Personality:
Daniel, at first, appears to be a normal boy his age. He acts rather joyous, innocent, and upbeat, but also, Daniel can be harsh and cold. His moral compass sometimes points to the North-East rather than the North. He is cunning and smart, quickly devising the best plan of action. Danny has been referred to as “Switch” as he quickly jumps from emotion to emotion and changes his mind often. This is due to an alternate personality in his mind. This personality is the side of him that is considered ‘evil’ and is automatically drawn upon with the use of his powers. This evil personality is arrogant and proud, hence the nickname Daniel gave it: “Pride”. The ‘Super-Ego’ side of himself is generally cheerful and forgiving – a complete foil to his evil personality. Unfortunately “Pride” Is much stronger than his real personality and takes control most times.
In both personalities, Daniel likes cookies, kittens, puppies, and games. He also enjoys playing the piano and violin.
Special Abilities:
Danny possesses the ability to control the shadows. He can turn the shadows into arms, which can block attacks, cut metal, and pick up/throw objects. His shadows are able to heal and hurt people, depending on how they are used. The shadows cannot be broken, and can lift extremely heavy objects, can pierce through thick metals, and extend as far as he needs them too, as long as he has a shadow source to use. He is useless in complete darkness, or in the even that a shadow cannot be created. Through the shadows he is also able to see and speak by forming eyes and teeth in the shadows. Daniel can absorb energy such as fire or energy attacks, as he uses that to power his shadow morphing abilities. Eventually it is possible for him to run out of power/energy.
Daniel is also unable to age. He is perpetually stuck in the body of a 10 year old. But, just because he cannot die of old age or sickness, weapons can still harm him. And ultimately he can be felled by them.

Daniel and his mother mostly lived in London, while his father worked around the world, and only visited the manor is the summer time. Danny was unable to make any friends, as he was kept a secret. His mother and father were afraid he would be outcast for his devilish ability. It was then during the lonely days in the town house that Daniel began to develop his evil alter ego, Pride.
Years passed, and Daniel remained alone. On his tenth birthday, the young boy blew out his birthday candles and silently wished “to see the day when I am accepted”. On that day, a tricky demon stole away Daniel’s ability to age, claiming that he would be “waiting for a very long time.” And so the young boy continued to live, but never age. It was then out of sheer boredom that Danny began to explore the world and his powers. He ran away from home that night, and never returned since.
