Yeah, yeah, 'lay off the porn' I know.
Anyways I'm suffering from a hardware failure of some kind (not sure yet but I suspect a faulty ram in my computer) anyways it's been shutting itself off a lot lately and I'm still waiting from Dell Support to find out more. It seems to be working fine with a single ram (Ram 2 in slot 1) until it takes on more memory than it can handle so while I'm waiting on a reply from Dell Support I'm going to see what happens if I put the other ram back in there in slot 2.
I most likely won't be making any posts today, or tomorrow if this persists.
I'll keep you posted.

Wedge: I'm sure it will be dealt with in a speedy manner. We'll await your return.
HK-47: Statement: I wont miss you. In fact, I'd rather you never come back. So we can hope you're dead. Meatbag.

Ram 2 is now in slot 1 with Ram 1 in slot 2. Everything seems to be working smoothly at the moment but I'm still cautious.

You always seem to have trouble with this.
Out of curiosity what are your computer specs?

It seems to be running fine for now (though we may have to upgrade our ram regardless) so I'm going to go ahead and do my usual posting while everything wants to run.

Update: The root of the problem may be due to the power supply. To be sure though I need to swap it with another one and see if it runs. In the meantime Dell Support still has me playing around with the rams.

Update: The rams have been ruled out as the cause of the problem. Now looking into video cards. The verdict is still out on whether or not it's the power supply. If so it may be a while before I can swap it.

We can rule the video/gfx card out as the cause of the problem.
Also while nothing is written in stone yet there's a chance I may be getting a new computer. Mom found one on sale at Nebraska Furniture Mart's website. An HP Desktop Package with Monitor and Printer.
