"Oh man what a drag. I wanted some me time today." Zelos walked down the stairs in his mansion, his fire-red hair bouncing on each step, his butler behind him. "Sir, please remember, we are trying to bring the worlds together. Masters Raine and Genis are waiting for you." Hearing the names of his friends excited him, "Huh, it's been awhile since I've seen them too. I guess-"
Just then, the ground under Zelos' feet gave way and he began to fall. "What the-" Before he could even finish his sentence, he found himself head first in the sand. He pulled himself out with a grunt and began coughing up the particles that had invaded his mouth. "Man, that is nasty...Now...What the hell happened?" Before he could get a hold of his surroundings, he found himself surrounded by four men.
"Well well well, what have we got here? 'Nother one comes to Genesis huh? Well then boy, how about you give us that sword and shield you got and well show you the way to...town." The leader of the gang walked up to Zelos. He was a big man, with scars covering his body. His life could not have been a pleasant one. "Yeah, that is not gonna happen man. I think I'll just be going."
Zelos knew he could take on this bunch, but there was no telling if any others where around. He didn't want to take any chances. Dammit, I need to get away fast. Guess i have no choice. Zelos jump away from the man and reveal his glowing aqua wings. He got a running start and flew away.
He couldn't fly high, and had to skirt the ground, but he was able to put a good amount of distance between the gang and himself. Whew. That should be good for now. I wonder where I am? I think I'm in Sylvarant now, near Triet... Zelos looked ahead and began to see people in the distance so he dropped his Angelic State. Maybe they can tell me whats going on here. He began to walk over, hoping to find some answers.

People gathered around and huddled up near the fireplace to keep warm. Among them was Kain, leader and guardian of the last surviving remnant of a forgotten people. Those around the fire started pointing towards the man drawing near, causing Kain to stand up to his feet with his sword in hand and walk towards the approaching man. Mothers held their kids close and husbands put themselves in front of their wives as Kain reached Zelos. "Stop right there." Kain stood before Zelos Wider, looking him up and down. "Turn around and go back to where you came from and we won't have any trouble." |

Zelos was going to say something to get under the man skin, but considering the situation, he decided to change his tune. "Look man, I would love to go back where I came from, I just need to know which way Triet is. Can you at least tell me that?" Zelos knew his place. This man looked like he had been through many battles. He wasn't the same as the thugs who surrounded him out in the desert. If need be, it look like he would take him down himself.

"Triet?" Kain has never heard of the place and with good reason seeing how the two men were of different worlds. But Kain have been frozen beneath the Crystal Expanse for so long that there were no telling how much things have changed since the Great Freeze. "The nearest town from here is Jherrazad. Beyond that Moon Valley. I know of no Triet."

Zelos putted both heads on his head in frustration and confusion. Whoa wait a minute. Jherrazad? Moon Valley? I haven't heard of either of those places. I thought I had been everywhere... Zelos looked around at the people sitting near the fire. He didn't notice it before, but they didn't look much better than the man standing in from of him. There was only one other question he could ask. "Okay I've never heard of either of those places and considering I was in my mansion just a second ago I might be in a remote location. So just answer one last question: is this Sylvarant or Tethe'alla?"

With Zelos next question it occurred to Kain that this man was more than likely another traveler from a remote world. There was no easy way to tell him so he would just come right out and say it, "You're on a continent called Jherra in a world called Genesis. The world you knew does not exist here." Many foreign travelers came through here since their awakening, so many in fact that Kain lost count a long time ago. Where they were now was anyone's guess. |

Zelos' eyes widened in shock. What? I'm in a completely different world? What about Sheena...and Lloyd...and Celes...What can I do? Zelos mauled over this problem in his head. This man seemed very hostile, but I wonder if he would allow another person to join him...they don't look like they are in very good shape...[/color] Zelos stepped a bit closer to the man. "Listen, this is all a lot to digest...But I can get back. For now I was wondering if I could join your group. I can fight and with the bandits out there, I'm sure it would be of help to you. So what do you say?" This is all I can do for now.

As expected the man was at a lost for words. Kain could relate as he undergone something similar when he was unfrozen only to find out just how many years had passed since the Great Freeze of his people. The man went on to make what many would have considered a generous offer but Kain gut told him that there'd be something he'd want in return and Kain's trust was a challenging thing to earn. Turning around, Kain began to walk away as he spoke, "Go home." |

Zelos was taken aback by the man's quick answer and command. He walked over to him, placed a hand on his shoulder and turned him to face him. "Listen man, I would love to do that but from what you say, that's not exactly possible is it? Do you think I'm here to hurt you?" Zelos looked back at the everlasting sand then back on the camp site. "Think of it this way...you have all these people here with you. Are you really going to send me out into this desert by myself, in a world I know nothing of?"

Not too far off, Marth could be seen watching the two, having found himself in the strange area here as well, deciding he would explore the land while he could to see if he could find a place to stay for a while...He had to find somewhere that would be just right for Darren. He watches as one man tells the other to leave, smirking to himself as he now starts to walk on over to see if he could help at all....Even though he didn't know the land at all.
"He's right you know...You never know what sorts of beasties would be creeping around underground." He chuckles darkly after that, his crimson eyes seeming to glow against the black sclera of his eyes. He looked between the fiery-headed youth and the seemingly older man, tilting his head to the side slowly. He suddenly plunges his hand into a pocket, pulling out a few pieces of candy and suckers. "...Candy, anyone?"

"You aren't my responsibility. We barely have enough food to feed ourselves, we don't need another mouth that isn't even from this world." His words were harsh but true. This wasn't a charity organization, not anymore. Kain turned, his eyes now on the dark headed male who has stepped up onto the scene. "Move along," he told the male while the people around the campfire were starting to move away from the position of the three males.
