Kailix stepped quickly his eyes taking in everything around him without ever actually opening them. He was on a search, one that he hadn’t been able to get to until recently. He knew his target was here, but he was making it difficult on him. He was wasting his time; time that Kailix didn’t have to spare or wanted to spare. For with every second that passed a little more time closed until so many plans would lie in ruin.
The corridor of the Downward Spiral was constantly changing behind him. Not that he was lost, but it seemed Tajna was keeping ahead of him on purpose. Kailix could sense his presence and it was starting to grate at him. He picked up his pace a little as the tower pulsed beneath him. It was a relic of an age gone past, one that he would pay no heed to.
He quickly turned as the Tajna’s presence ahead of him slowed. He turned a corner as the way he had come before closed behind him. He knew this place, but for the moment his attention was on another matter. One with whom the person had yet to show himself. Kailix’s face showed a hint of impatience on it. He had long ago figured this tower out, but he had his eyes on an almost impossible task today. He had to convince Tajna to abandon his goal of destroying the Ashrai.
”Tajna.” he said calling him out by name a hint of anger in his voice. Tajna had lead him all over the place to a meeting place that he had desired, but Kailix didn’t have time for him to decided when was the right time to show himself and how to show himself. ”I know you’re here. Show yourself.” he said. More demanded really. If Tajna knew half of what he claimed to know then he should know the reason Kailix was confronting him now. That would in the end speed things up nicely.
