Fun? All Garrus could do was shake his head. He'd have to ask Imai later how anyone like 201 got into the position of captain but for now he had to worry about the task at hand. Catching 201's motion and Kragen's warning, Garrus nodded in response and slowly approached Zira's weapons, keeping her within the corner of his eye as he confiscated them and returned to his place next to 201.

Zira pulled out a scroll written and signed by Empress Ranko herself and then tossed it to 201 for her to read.
"We were told by Ranko we would find you here. You can read what she wrote yourself. We're part of an alliance between the Empire of Jherrazad and Crystal City. What it boils down to is we all want the same thing; Vulture's ass."
Zira waited for 201 to read the scroll. She would be able to see for herself that the signature wasn't forged and the Firebird already knew from reading her mind that she was familiar with the Empress' hand writing.
"If we all work together it'll bring Isafaro that much closer to being an independent nation. That is what you want, isn't it?"

"Well this is interesting, Zira. We didn't even have to get inside; they've brought the welcome wagon to us."
Sparda looked around, raising an eyebrow in apparent amusement, at the rather comprehensive show of force brought against them by these seemingly high-strung members of the Resistance.
"Quite the band of misfits we have here. You'd think we'd stumbled onto the set of some clichéd civil war film." Smiling, the demon slowly reached into his coat, loosely drawing Luce and Ombra to disarm himself as Zira had done in a show of good faith. Kneeling, he tossed the guns along the ground towards the armoured alien who had taken Zira's weapons, then straightened back up.
The fact that Sparda hadn't batted an eyelash at said armoured alien spoke volumes about the things he'd seen in the past.

Kira shifted ever so slightly from his position. The only sign that he disagreed with what Zira had just said. However he doubted anyone here would know it was because of that. He had yet to tell anyone his reason for joining the Resistance, but it wasn’t to see Vulture dead. That was for sure. After all just because one person died it didn’t mean an end to the war. It was something Kira had learned the hard way. Al that did was create an endless cycle of hate. It gave others a reason to keep the war going if it had to. A reason to hate. For taking those people cared about away from them. That was the real enemy, not the armies. Sparda too disarmed himself. At least they were trying to be agreeable. Although the way they phrased things might need some work. He had nothing to add here for the moment, but should either of them make a move that might be seen as hostile they would find themselves in a situation he was sure that no one here wanted. He hoped 201 at least recognized they were trying. He wasn’t sure what to make of Kragen however. He didn’t seem as willing to accept them as most might be, but he was a good soldier. As long as 201 didn’t give the order and they didn’t try anything he should be fine. ______________________________________________________ A little light begins to shine,

201 caught the scroll tossed towards her and unfolded it to read its content. After taking a moment to read it she folded it back up and looked to the others.
“Give them back their weapons and spread out. We meet up back at HQ.”
201 walked over to Zira and whispered,
“Go around to the front of the abandoned looking building and then just run right through. It'll lead you on a downhill road with a laboratory at the end. It's very Harry Potter meet Bill Nye the Science Guy. You can't miss it.”
Turning around, 201 gave herself a running stop and then leaped off the rooftop to make her way back to base.

Kragen watched the exchange between leaders before lowering his rifle and returning it to the holster on his back. No conflict. He hoped 201 knew what she was doing by telling them how to enter the base but little did he know that through Zira's power she would have already had this information. Making a mental note to keep an eye on them after they enter the labs, Kragen turned around and went through the door on the roof he came out of to rondevu with the others at HQ.

Garrus Vakarian Understood, Captain. Garrus gently kicked their weapons back over to them and followed Kragen down from the rooftop into the floors below. Once the turian rebel caught up with the ex-soldier he spoke. Garrus Vakarian You don't trust them, do you? Not that Garrus could blame him. In this line of work you couldn't take anything at face value. Commander Shepard has earned his trust and vice versa. Commander Imai Katayo has earned his trust and vice versa. Hopefully in time Zira and Sparda would earn their trust and vice versa.

Well, that was easy. Here Zira thought they would end up in a fight from a misunderstanding before they got to clear everything up but already they were cleared to enter their base to talk further. Picking up her weapons and putting them away the Firebird looked over to Sparda.
"Follow me."
Zira lunged off of the rooftop and allowed herself to free fall, spinning at the last second before she hit the ground and landed gracefully on her feet in front of the abandoned building that shielded the rebel base through holographic deception. It took talent for those behind the images to work day and night making sure they were invisible to scanners and other measures the Crimson Vulture had at their disposal to detect a deception such as this.
"Like Harry Potter meeting Bill Nye, eh?"
The Firebird rushed forward and went straight on through the front wall of the building making it to the other side where the only direction to go was downhill.
"So that's what it like to enter Platform Nine and Three Quarters."

Kira more or less used the same process as 201 to get down, except no running start. As he reached the edge he crouched down and used his hand to throw himself over using the building to push away getting some distance from the building for when he landed. He landed with little difficult. He briefly debated following Zira and Sparda. Unfortunately for them it was the way he had come meaning he had to at least pick his computer up. He stopped just inside to retrieve his computer. He wasn’t quite sure what to make of Garrus. He hadn’t really interacted with him all that much. 201 seemed to trust then rather easily though. He also hadn’t talked to Kragen yet, other than perhaps a simple greeting here and there. It was odd that he knew so little about them. He kept his mind clear however. There was something about those two. He followed them just in case. Although he had hoped that he wouldn’t need to in the end. They didn’t seem like they would try to pull a fast one. He wondered why now though. Surely they knew it existed before now. It really wasn’t his place to ask, it so he wouldn’t, but it didn’t stop his mind from trying to come up with an answer for it. For now however he said nothing merely kept pace with them. ______________________________________________________ A little light begins to shine,

"Few people I do," replied Kragen as he made his way to the bottom of the building. The ex-soldier slowly peered out of the exit-way before walking through it and with his rifle held up high he walked backwards, sideways and finally forward, rolling behind cover and peering out of that to check if the coast was clear of any Isafaro's influence before moving out and reaching the front of the building. With his eyes on the dark areas in front of him he quickly dashed backward through the holographic wall into the tunnel which led to the base.

Which was unfortunate but a part of war. When they made it to the tunnel Garrus went on ahead to let the others know of Zira Firestone and Sparda's arrival. The turian rebel wondered like Kira why it took the Jherrazad and Crystal City alliance so long to send somebody to meet with them. Perhaps the war has gotten that bad. Seeing how he spent virtually no time outside of Isafaro he couldn't be sure. There would always be time to ask them later when the talks officially got started. Entering the labs he hurried over to the office of Imai Katayo. Garrus Vakarian Commander, we have some people from the Jherrazad and Crystal City alliance here to see you.

"Is there a reason you're going out of your way to follow us?"
Zira spoke back at Kira without turning her body to look in his direction. Sneaking was of little use due to her six sense. She turned around slowly to see if the male would come out of hiding now that the jig was up.
"You're not like the others, are you?"

Perhaps uncharacteristically, Sparda remained silent while he followed Zira after recovering his guns, content instead to quietly observe the tactics of this disparate band of rebels. Splitting up the way they did was understandable; they didn't want to be seen moving as a group towards one destination. They were less likely to be followed this way.
But he and his companion were being shadowed, it seemed. When Zira caught him out, Sparda stopped with her, turning back to watch the boy show himself.
"We don't need the Vulture's fancy equipment to know everything there is to know about our surroundings, my boy. There's little point hiding yourself."

Kira shifted slightly at Zira’s question. It wasn’t to far out of the way, but even had it been it didn’t matter much because they were all going to the same place in the end. He had been trying to keep his distance mostly out of respect, not to actually keep hidden, but it seemed in the end they still knew, not that he was trying to be sleathly with his actions. He slowly came into view however as they began to adress him. He shrugged and offered her a small smile in response to her question. ”We’re all going the same way anyway, right?” he asked. True after he entered he could’ve gone other places, but he hadn’t. He studied Sparda after his words. It wasn’t that unusal for someone to take everything in without effort, but he gave him a small nod. His attention was once again back on Zira at her next question. He wasn’t like them? His mind immeditely went to the fact that he was a coordinator, but that didn’t come out of his mouth. Of course she couldn’t mean different in that way. Garrus would be different as well. Was she refering to the reason he joined? How would she know that? He decided to say the only thing that would make sense to him based on the limited knowledge. Before he could a small green mechanical bird came flying from the direction of the base heading for the entrance. The bird circled around, spotting Kira to land on his hand that he had extended. His eyes softened a bit remembering Athrun who had given it to him. He hoped he was doing well. Birdie evntually moved to his shoulder as Kira turned to finally give the answer he had been going to before that. ”In what way?” he asked her. He didn’t think there was a certain time they had to meet Imai in as long as she wasn’t kept waiting for too long. ______________________________________________________ A little light begins to shine,

"You're not a soldier."
Of course she meant that figuratively. In his heart did not dwell that of a soldier but of a peacemaker. A man who fought to avoid battle rather than one that pursued it. And although the others tried their best to avoid unwanted conflicts, Kira was willing to take it where the others weren't. It would take time but soon they would realize just how valuable an asset Kira was to them. Zira turned back around and headed into the labs at the end of the tunnel where she sensed Imai was waiting, allowing the male to be alone with his thoughts.
