Remus was stuck. He had woken into a new world, one he couldn't recognise nor remember. He had been travelling for days, looking for any signs that might help him uncover the truth about where he was. But he wasn't in luck, he was a frozen desert. His breath making a cloud in front of his mouth, he dug his arms into his chest in an attempt to keep warm. But he hadn't eaten in days, and his energy was on the verge of evaporating.
At the same time his head was pounding, since he woke, he'd been having random flashes of visions. He didn't know who these visions belonged to, but they wouldn't leave him alone.
He was looking down, watching his feet tread into the thick snow. His lungs hurt with the pressure of the cold, and his legs begged for the rest they had yet to be given. A gust of cold blew his attention forward. He froze in his place. Ahead of his view was a dark cloud of snow, washing over the ice field. Just as he caught sight of the storm, a pain struck his head like an arrow. Before he could stop it, another random vision took over. He closed his eyes, engulfed by the darkness.
He woke to find himself looking into a small room. There was girl, about 20 in age. She was crying. Then Remus heard a voice coming from outside the room. "How could you Emily, do I mean nothing to you?" The voice sound like a man, Remus turned to the only door of the room and saw a boy of similar age to the girl, Emily. Her tears continued to fall as she looked up at the boy, she tried to say 'I'm sorry' but her cries covered her words.
Suddenly the room burst into flames, as Remus exited the vision. Darkness surrounded him again, and he found himself lying in the snow, covered in its icy blasts. He tried to breath, but each breath felt empty. His legs felt as if they were frozen. He tried to move but couldn't. He closed his eyes and prayed for help.
