Aran sighed as Alucard dodged her shots and blocked her strike, bringing his free hand up, gun still in hand. From the moment his wrist turned the gun to her skull, the angel knew what was going to happen. Her nonchalant gaze turned into that of annoyance, and before he pulled the trigger, she opened her mouth to speak.
“Here we go.”
As the blessed rounds emptied into her head, her skull was blown to pieces, bone fragments flying like shrapnel as bits of her brain splattered about in a very gruesome manner. The force of the vampire's shots were so powerful that when he was done, most of her head had been blown to pieces, leaving a jagged stump of a neck with bone sticking out. Her entire body then relaxed as she crumpled to the ground, her blood flowing in rivers from her now headless body. Celestial blood was different from humans as it was thicker and seemed almost metallic in color. Apparently it was rather tasty, too, as vampires apparently enjoyed consuming it. For what seemed like hours but was only a minute or so, her body remained absolutely still.
Then, it began to twitch.
The blood that had been running down the street suddenly began to flow backwards, running back into the massive wound from whence it had came. All the pieces of her seemed to run back to her neck, merging together in a very orderly manner. As this occurred, her body began to spasm as it rose to her feet. By the time the angel was fully upright, her head was completely repaired, and a very annoyed scowl was across her delicate features.
“Thank you for that. Because my head being blown off was exactly what I needed today.”
Her tone dripped with sarcasm. Opening her hands, the blades rose up from the ground and flew into her grip. She then muttered something in a foreign language quickly as she rolled her shoulders, her speech so rapid one couldn't even understand it if they knew the language itself. When her quick incantation was finished, she was surrounded in a flash of light, which quickly died down into a very soft, barely noticeable glow.
"Well, let's go again, shall we?"

It was a no brainier to Imai and she was amazed that the two men under her command couldn't already guess what her reply would be. Holding up the radio to her lips she spoke angrily into it at the two of them,
“Get your asses back here so we can take out this son of a bitch!”
Putting the radio away Imai got up from her hiding spot and looked towards a distracted thanks to the intervention of Aran. Alucard would notice that both his weapons were overheating soon after hitting him with a Sabotage proximity mine thanks to the distraction caused by Aran, rendering his weapons useless before drawing her own 9mm pistol and firing six times into his back and twice into the back of his skull.

"Such a predictable charge is unbecoming of an angelic. Or are the angels in this world really that patheic?"
The way she fought, the way she reacted to his counters, it all stank of an amateur and if that's what he had to expect then he predicted this fight wouldn't last very much longer. How boring. He was hoping for a real battle that would force him to release more of his power. He still could but it wouldn't be as satisfying if she couldn't handle it.
"No, midear. It was you who attacked me so you will go first."
By the time he finished, Alucard felt his weapons overheat. An eyebrow raised, the Crimson Enigma turned to see that the Asian woman was still around and while taking advantage of his attention being elsewhere was clever, she failed to do anything of true sufficient to the actual man himself as his weapons heating up were only temporary and so trivial compared to his real power.
"Really? That's the best you can muster? Let just end this now."
He raised the Casull for Imai's head and began to unload several perfectly aligned shots for her skull.

Garrus Vakarian Yes, Commander. We're on our way. Garrus lowered the radio and looked over to Kragen. Garrus Vakarian You heard her, and maybe there's still a chance we can take this thing down. With his weapon at the ready, Garrus hurried around the apartment complex as quickly as he could move without wearing himself out. The turian felt it was only a matter of time before the Isafaro military got involved but until they did show up, it looked like it was up to them. Coming onto the scene Garrus aimed his weapon and began unloading five shot burst after five shot burst towards Alucard.

Aran shrugged at Alucards comment in a rather carefree manner. There was a difference between her actually fighting, and wanting to see the reaction from the No Life King. It was important to determine just what “kind” of Nosferatu he was. In many cases, people with heavy regenerative abilities relaxed their guards. They were idiots, and easier to deal with. However, Alucard was not an idiot, despite his obvious insanity. The celestial was about to speak when a song began to drift around her, grabbing her attention.
“Oh, hold on for a second.” Rummaging through her pockets, the silver-haired woman frantically searched for the source of the noise, only to pull out a cell phone of some sort. Taking the call, she spoke into the phone, talking to the other person on the line.
“Hello? Oh, hi, sweetie.” Her tone took a much warmer tone as it appeared she was familiar with the caller. “Yes, I'm in Genesis right now. Work stuff. You know how it is. Mmhm. Just got my head blown off, too.” Seeing Imai charge for Alucard and his gun raise, the angel waved her hand at the two. Almost instantaneously, several large blades of light grew from the ground to slice the vampire's arm to pieces, only to disappear into the ground again. The bullets he fired failed to reach their target as they disintegrated, as if exposed to some extreme heat. By the time they neared Imai, they were nothing but smoldering globs of hot metal on the ground. “Don't worry, I won't forget to pick up onions. But I'm kinda in the middle of fighting a Nosferatu right now.” Waving her hand again, several spears of light appeared from several angles, charging towards Alucard and impaling him.
“Don't worry, I'll be careful. I love you too. Bye,” With her farewell, the woman ended the call and slipped the phone into her pocket again, before looking at Alucard with a hint of annoyance in her eye.
'Destroy it.'
A voice that was not her own rang through her head. It was a familiar voice to her, one that no one else could hear. Dark and malicious, it crawled out from the recesses of her mind and slithered about like a serpent, winding around her conscious thoughts. She knew better than to listen to it, for nothing good ever came of it. 'No.' With that simple word running through her head, she pushed the voice back to its cage, allowing her to concentration to one more fixate on the scene before her.
“It's a little rude to pick of a bunch of kids, don't you think?” Her mismatched gaze watched Garrus as he came out from cover. “Even if they are determined.” In a swift step, which, to the mortal eye, appeared to be her disappearing and re-appearing, she was in front of Imai, looking back at the young woman with an almost chastising gaze, as if addressing a child.
“It'd be best for you and your friends to stick to long-range weaponry,” She told the young woman behind her. “Unless you can grow limbs when you loose them. While you should be able to protect yourselves from his guns, his natural abilities are much more deadly than those machines he holds in his hands.”

Kragen should have expected as much from the Commander. There was no point in arguing when her mind was made up. The ex-soldier followed Garrus but only at a safe distance, allowing the blackness of his attire to better blend in with his surroundings to cut the ways this "monster" can detect him in the midst of everything that was going on. When they finally returned to the scene Kragen would again use the firing of weapons to drown out the fire power of the DSR 50 as he once again unloaded a single .50BMG into the chest of the vampire. The DSR was enough to take him out on its own even if only for a short time but on top of everything else? They could only wait and see.

Alucard heard something emerge from the ground and moved instantly to avoid them. Blades from the ground? It reminded him of something similar he did with spikes and that was the very reason he knew when to moved. When spears of light came from every angle the Crimson Enigma simply faded out of existence like a ghost, the spears missing him cleanly and exploding into each other by the time he faded back into a corporal form, just in time for the return of the duo that began this whole encounter. As Garrus and Kragen began to fire Alucard quickly ran to the left, gone was the .454 Casull and 13mm Jackal and in their place was something with a far superior firing rate. Something he hasn't used in years.
A Tommy Gun.
A hailstorm of bullets came raining down on the group as Alucard could now be seen defying gravity in the air. A thick fog that was nigh see through began to drift into the area, surrounding the Crimson Enigma's enemies on this day as Alucard remained in the air. The sky started to bleed red, darkness began to choke the buildings all around them as the red eyes of the vampire began to glow even brighter as Isafaro was bent and twisted to his will.
"You should have ran when you had the chance."

No good. They were in even worse shape than they were previously. Kragen leaped through the air and then rolled on the ground the moment he touched it, avoiding the bullets as he went along. Quickly getting up to his feet Kragen now stood to the rear of Imai and Aran, with no time to ask questions to the stranger, the ex-soldier looked over to Imai. "This man isn't like the others. We should head back." As Kragen said that he noticed the thick fog that came out of nowhere and how the scenery was changing all around them. Either they were losing their minds or he was right on the money when he said this man wasn't like the others.

What Garrus wasn't able to avoid the shields took full on. As the turian moved across the ground quickly he continued to fire up at Alucard in the air. Doing a roll of his own after Kragen, the archangel ended up at the front of Imai and Aran. No matter what happened protecting Imai was their top priority. Garrus looked around to the change in environment but kept his head in the game despite what he was seeing. This wasn't the first time he came face to face with overwhelming odds and it sure as hell wouldn't be the last. That not withstanding, they were starting to exhaust their resources. Garrus Vakarian I'm open to suggestions.

“W-who are you? What are you?”
Imai clamped both her hands onto her head, starting to lose herself in shock and the way that man in red was bending reality wasn't helping. On one knee next to her stealth vehicle she was regretting not retreating back when she had the opening to.
“I-I don't know--- I...!”
It was impossible for the rebel leader to focus. She felt like she was going insane. Her head began to pound, and pound, and pound some more until she finally couldn't take it anymore.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

As the rain of bullets fell on Aran, she darted to the size, missing the attack altogether. Ignoring her opponent for a moment, her mismatched eyes quickly darted about the area, noticing the thick miasma as it rolled in. 'Damn.' As it swept around, the glowing around the celestial grew in intensity, and the miasma stayed back, putting her at the center of a circle five yards in diameter. The buildings bent as it rained blood from the sky, but none of it seemed to touch the woman, much less bother her. Pursing her lips in irritation, she took a moment to look at her blade.
'Destory.'
It had been a long time since she had fought a creature such as Alucard. A really long time. For a moment, she thought of her days as a general, a time where she would not hesitate to use her abilities to their furthest extend if required, caring nothing for the damage it did to the world around her. Her soldiers knew to get out of the way. But it was different now. There were... bystanders, and she had grown to dislike needless destruction. 'Wait.... bystanders...'
'Burn.'
Freezing for a moment, her gaze quickly rested on the three who had challenged the Nosferatu to combat in the first place. They, of course, were going insane. A small sigh escaped her lips, and the heterochromatic couldn't help but chuckle lightly, as if the scene was amusing. Grabbing Imai by her waist, she carried the human under one arm as she grabbed Garrus and then Kragen, keeping them by her side. Placing Imai on the ground, she slapped the rebel, not to inflict pain, but rather to get her attention.
'First comes destruction.'
“Listen up and pull yourself together!!” Aran snapped, her eyes suddenly narrowing as she lowered herself to the girl's level. In this instant, her eyes had lost their warmth, and she appeared to be very much the cold, heartless general of her younger days. “You need to remain as calm as possible. If you loose yourself now, that creature over there,” she pointed to Alucard as she spoke, “will eat you and your men. As their leader, you have a duty to make sure they survive!” Putting her two fingers to the girl's forehead, the celestial muttered something under her breath, and a glowing symbol appeared on the girl's forehead, a sort of rune-like letter. After that was done, she put two fingers on her guns and did the same, but a different symbol appeared. Then she did the same to Garrus and Kragen and their weapons before rising to her full height.
“I gave you each a small barrier. It should help provide some resistance to his attacks, but it won't be much. And the 'blessing' on your guns will allow you to do more damage.” Twirling her sword in her fingertips, mismatched eyes gazed up at Alucard for a moment. “Don't concentrate on killing him. Concentrate on surviving.” Taking one last moment to look back at the trio she had “blessed.” her expression melted into a warm smile as she patted Imai's head.
“Hey, don't worry too much. I'll do my best to get all three of you out of here, okay?” With that, she turned away from them. 'Time to go.'
Freezing for a moment, the celestial muttered something under her breath as an arcane circle materialized before her. With a sweep of her hand, the circle shrunk and shot towards Alucard as a bolt of light, slicing through the air before splitting and heading at him in several directions. With a few beat of her wings, Aran herself was airborne, heading for Alucard. Once she was in range to attack, her speed multiplied and in an instant, she was gone, only to re-appear as she went for a sideways slash to the man's shoulder with her glowing sword, seeming to intent to slice him in two.
ooc : sorry for my prolonged absence! Life has been getting in the way of my fun more than I'm pleased to admit.

The sky above turned pitch black, with specs of red still glowing towards the ground but if one looked closely they could see movement from the blackness. Familiars, hellhounds, emerged from the fog and covered the area in a matter of seconds. Alucard moved at a speed unheard of through the use of his familiars as they took the attack from the angel while the Crimson Enigma moved within them. When the angel flew into the air she would be greeted by Baskerville, a giant hellhound who opened his mouth and out came Alucard's right hand, thrusting into the angel's chest like a sword's blade as evil surrounded her and her allies in this fight.

Despite everything happening around them the ex-soldier Kragen kept his cool, which was more than what he could say for the Commander. Had Aran not already taken her aside and slapped her then Kragen would have done so himself. It was unforgivable for one on the battlefield to lose it like that, especially when that someone was in a commanding position. There was no time to test the new upgrades so they would have to hope for the best. Raising his G3A3 Kragen began to unload upon the hellhounds that came after them with the now blessed ammo.

And smack! Right across the face. Imai blinked blankly for a moment wondering what just happened until it all hit her, metaphorically this time around.
“I-I'm terribly sorry.”
Imai looked to her gun, which Aran had recently blessed with some form of magic. It was quickly time to put it to the test as hellhounds, actual magical hellhounds, started to attack them after emerging from the fog. This was ridiculous, even with the blessed ammunition there was still far too many of them to eliminate. To make matters worse, Imai could make out that Aran was in trouble in the air with Alucard.
“Garrus, use your sniper rifle to help out Aran! Kragen, use the stealth vehicle to secure an escape route for us.”
It was a precaution she should have taken sooner. Just in case there really was no stopping this thing they would at least have a means of escape. But Imai wouldn't leave Aran behind.

Imai didn't need to tell him twice. If Alucard was behind these hounds forming in the sky then it was more than likely that eliminating him would get rid of their pest problem. Trusting that the others had his back, the archangel aimed the M-29 Incisor at the face of Alucard, which was seen through the mouth of one of his many familiars, and fired a holy blessed three shot burst right into his face.
