Heather is moody, sometimes with a (lit) short fuse, but not very much more so than your average teenager. She has a sarcastic sense of humor, and a drive to get what she wants. She also adapts easily to even the most extreme circumstances, as events in her life up to this point have numbed her to shock or surprise. Having seen extremely horrific things before, she is not easily scared either.

Heather Mason is the adopted daughter of Harry Mason. She is the reincarnation of both Alessa and Harry’s original daughter Cheryl Mason (who was also Alessa reborn, or more correctly half of Alessa’s conscience made human). She was given to Harry at the end of his “adventure” in Silent Hill by Alessa.
Spending her childhood hunted by Silent Hill’s cult (unbeknownst to her) they finally caught up to her and murder her father. Along with a detective hired by the cult to find her, she heads toward Silent Hill, finding out who and what she really is. She is meant to be the mother of god, who is growing inside of her. Determined to stop this, she ingests a drug her father left behind forcing her to vomit up the fetus.
Despite this, another cult member ingests the fetus and the cult’s god is born, and promptly dismembered by Heather. Having single handedly prevented the birth of a God, Heather does what any teenager would do, and leaves Silent Hill to lead a normal life, or as normal of one as is possible given her circumstances.
