Physical Appearance:[/b
]
Personality:
The Doctor is a very unpredictable alien with a restless mind but a sharp wit. It's easy to say that he's beyond the borderline of "crazy" and in the zone of "terrifically insane". He's easily distracted, energetic but at the very least he knows what he is doing and what he's capable of. In the face of his enemies --mainly the Daleks and Cybermen--the Doctor is usually confident that they will be defeated and comes up with grand ideas to beat his foes in a seemingly neverending war.
Doctor Who tries to be a Pacifist and rarely likes to settle things with violence--this contributes to the fact that he's the last of the Time Lords. He'd much rather prefer to use scientific means or anything else to get a job done instead of letting it end in a series of grotesque bloodshed. However, if there isn't any other alternative, he will allow others to die so that many more can live.
Special Abilities:
*The Doctor has a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to events in time and elsewhere in the vast regions of space. He's capable of taking note of the smallest mishap in the timeline and he usually considers it his job to fix this.
*Doctor Who can travel through time and space thanks to his vehicle dubbed the TARDIS which has taken the likeness of a blue police box. The ship itself contains a powerful force and is a very useful means of transportation. It's powers include the following:
-Force field
-Invisiblity
-Indestructible unless the Doctor chooses to destroy the TARDIS
-The ship is alive! You heard me, it's alive enough to make some choices of its own if it comes down to it but it's only on a rare occasion.
-The Heart of the Tardis is the source of the ship's power and it is drawn from the universe itself.
-It's huge on the inside, I mean, you'd never think that something so small on the outside could be larger than a house on the inside.
*As a Time Lord, he possesses a high very, very high IQ beyond what any human could handle. One mortal gained the knowledge of a Time Lord but was nearly destroyed by it all so those memories had to be repressed by the Doctor to ensure her survival.
*Two Hearts! The Doctor can function with only one if necessary but he requires both of them eventually.
*The Doctor has regeneration skills while inside the TARDIS but if his body is badly damaged, he takes on a new form all together. Thus far he's been incarnated eleven times.
Weapons:
*His sonic screwdriver which can open any door no matter the type of lock, help him take readings which only a Time Lord is capable of understanding, healing, repairing inanimate objects and so on.
*the TARDIS, which is his space ship/time machine but it's not that much of a weapon unless he decides to flat out ram you with the police-box.
History:
[Some people have not seen Doctor Who so I don't want to spoil the series for everyone. I'll just give basics while trying to not give it all away.]
Unless you watch the series, there isn't much to be said about the Doctor other than his adventures through time and space with a mortal companion. Doctor Who usually takes a female with him and they learn about the future, past or of other alien life in the vastness of space. His choice of location, coincidentally enough, always ends up with him having to fix something that's been going wrong despite him sometimse swearing off interfering in history to avoid changing the future. From the Queens of England to his sworn enemies the Daleks, he's seen them all and the people he takes are forever changed by what they witness.
The Doctor is the last of his kind, having been attacked by the Daleks--they are creatures without sentiment and will "EX.TER.MI.NATE." anything that isn't as pure as their species--and other enemies that severely crippled his race. For thousands of years he has travelled through space in the TARDIS but always takes the time to be fascinated by the human race. He appears throughout history and is well known by famous historic figures ranging from Winston Churchill, Queen Elizabeth I, and so on--it's mainly in Europe, though.
Throughout his life, The Doctor has taken on eleven incarnations due to severe injuries that previous forms could not mend. Whether or not the Doctor is immortal is difficult to say because he is capable of dying should he not get to his ship in time to "repair". With the sudden tears occurring in the universe, he has decided to begin investigation to start repairing everything. It was a completely unexpected event and even he's not completely sure --yet-- as to why or how this is happening. Time Lords would be the first on the list to suspect since they had the power to take down said barriers but they weren't around any longer. They did invent the Black Hole after all!
