All right, I had an idea for a subplot we can do in Isafaro for anyone that's interested. Red is going to appear there through the portal opened up during his battle with Mewtwo. The thing about Red is while he has 149 Pokemon he can only hold 6 at a time and since Genesis lacks a Pokemon Center, Red lacks the ability to withdraw and deposit his Pokemon. I'm going to assume that if any city has the ability to duplicate the technology used in Red's world to store items and Pokemon it would be Isafaro. Maybe they already have a prototype or a finished product they use to withdraw/deposit various weapon and equipment between stations.
My idea is Red runs into a member of the rebel group, is brought back to the rebel base and in exchange for helping him acquire this technology to get access to the rest of his Pokemon, he'd lend his Pokemon to their cause. For the sake of a challenge I'd really like the obstacles posed by Isafaro to be played by whoever is in charge of that. I'm also assuming that the chances of the rebel group already having technology like this in their grasp is unlikely, hence the infiltration mission to get it. If anyone is interested and/or there is any plot holes I should consider that I'm missing, let me know by either replying here or PMing me.
In addition, would there be anyone interested in playing Mewtwo? It's the only Pokemon Red has yet to catch and the Master Ball was lost. I was hoping to further challenge myself with a subplot that involved Red tracking down and catching Mewtwo. It would just be more fun if someone who's good at playing telepaths would be interested in playing the character. So let me know if any of you are interested in that too.

Though this does kinda raise a question: how did all 149 of Red's pokemon get transported to Genesis with him? If they didn't, how does he plan to convert a matter transporter into a two-way dimensional portal?

With worlds merging in the matter which they are it isn't too much of a stretch for him to hook up to a system from another world. There would simply be a longer load time. Just give him some maple, burp him, put him to bed in his igloo with a hockey game playing and it will put him right to sleep. |

If the means of sending an electronic signal through dimensional barriers already exists, then a professional animal handler and blood sport enthusiast being able to reconfigure a potentially experimental matter transporter for the purpose of getting his magical fighting animals is entirely reasonable and I'll gladly participate in this plot.
flagrantly sarcastic-sounding remarks aside, lol K, just wanted to be sure this stuff was already available and legit.

I'm going to have to agree with Clash on this one.
There is no portal between worlds. The dimensional barriers have been shattered ergo there is no dimensional barrier to block the electronic signal and by the same token none to maintain it. Even if this was possible it'd be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
The only way I could see this working is if you used the tower to transport Red to his world to collect the rest of his Pokemon but I doubt a ten year old boy and a small group of rebels would be able to figure out how to control the tower and would have to fight through basically all of Jherra to get to it.

I'm torn. I'm torn between the fact that I know Kira can do it. He rewrote the entire way his Mobile Suit works in a few seconds.
He learned the ins and outs of it in a few days and he partically designed the idea for the Mobile Suits Naturals use actually making them more then targets and a real legit threat within a few days. So given weeks or even months I see a breakthrough of some sort. At least for something small scale like this.
This is where I'm torn however. I don't see him being to thrilled about helping if he knows it's just to fight. So the problem then becomes how to convince him.

Believe it or not a lot of us are getting tired of it. You're questioning logic in an RP? ........How dare you. Nobody cares if he questions something going on in the RP. What bothers people is the way in which he goes about doing it. |
