Name: Raal
Aliases: Mental Master, Violet Nightmare, Kinetic Judge, Crimson Prophet, The Overseer, Mind's Eye, Brain Breaker
Age: 2000+
Gender: Male
Species: Demon
Demon Type: Psychic
Alignment: Neutral
Canon or Original: Original
Date of Birth: Not known.
Place of Birth: The Demon World (Devil May Cry)
Physical Appearance: Raal
This is what Raal still looks like. He's 6' 8", with hair of red and eyes of deep purple. He lacks a proper demon form, for now, due to his practice in the art of the mentalist. He still has some demon in his appearance, such as beast legs and clawed feet, similar to that of some kind of carnivorous dinosaur. His tail is loaded with barbs on the end that can both whip and sting, releasing a chemical cocktail that pacifies the inflicted. This chemical cocktail has three phases. Phase one is Placation, meaning that the inflicted don't want to do anything... against Raal himself. Phase two is Peaceful, where they don't want to do anything to anyone. Phase three is Lethargic Apathy, where the inflicted don't care and don't want to do anything except take a nap. The more stings it takes, the phases rise and the duration of the chemical gets longer. He's normally seen cloaked with a brown, unappealing tattered tarp, making himself mostly appear like a lost traveler than a demon. In terms of brute strength, he is weaker than most demons, but can still regenerate.
He lacks a True Demon form, and only when he achieves Cosmic Transcendance by using a Focal Rift located between dimensions, will he finally have a True Demon form.
Personality: He's calm, level-headed, understanding, and quick on the solutions, if any are to be had. Raal has to be calm. His placid behaviour keeps the psychokinetic forces in check. If ever enraged, it would be a psychic maelstrom that nobody would survive. His calm exterior also serves as not only a check for his abilities, but to hide his inner conflicts. When not keeping himself at bay in conflict, he's curious about how humans work. His powers had opened his mind to a whole new plethora of possibilities and perspectives of thought, so he shunned the demonic way in pursuit of knowledge and understanding of the world, or worlds in this case.
Special Abilities:
Weapons: Psychic energy bolts, and Psychological Warfare (see above). His claws don't do much damage to something that has a thick hide.
History: Youngest brother Raal was the weakest of the four in terms of physical strength and size. The rest of his brothers had developed their powers at a very young age. Raal did not get his until he was older. His brothers had conspired to get rid of him due to his frail appearance, but when they saw what he had developed, they dismissed that thought and became fast friends with him. All, save one... the oldest. He still viewed Raal as a frail thing that needed to be weeded out to pave the way for stronger, brutish demons. He hated Raal for how he looked. He looked more humanoid than the rest of them did. The eldest took pride in his horns and bone-crunching teeth, as well as his sturdy body and immense physical strength, so the more he made the comparison between him and the youngest, the more he hated the psychic.
One day he openly attacked Raal from out of the blue, forcing the youngest to raise a purple shield and actually REPEL the heavy punch that would have knocked him out. Surprised, and enraged, he continued to attack the barrier, forcing the red-head to knock him to the other side of the room with a kinetic wave of energy. The eldest stormed out, unable to touch the scrawny eyesore. Raal's other brothers followed him out, leaving the youngest alone in the room.
His other two brothers did not come back, but the oldest did, and when he returned a bloodied mess, Raal put two and two together. He killed what he had considered to be his only friends, in a sadistic and crazed plot to mentally break him so he could lower his guard and be vulnerable to his punches.
Raal ran, big brother followed.
In the chase, Raal ran right by the Null Sanctum, something their "master" (thanks to the oldest, he's dead now) had kept secret from them for a while. While he fled to who knew where, the oldest found this sanctum, and ventured in. There sat what seemed to be a fat, harmless white crystal in the center of a black room. It was glowing, and it had completely sapped his powers away, reducing his powers to nothing. He felt like a human, powerless and not even that strong. Even his natural demonic regeneration was reduced to a human's crawl.
It hit him like a train.
This crystal was his ticket of getting rid of the family runt for good! How to use it properly though? He searched the crystal for a sign of use. It was entirely smooth... except for a crack in one side. He slipped a claw in that crack, surprised that his meaty finger-claw could fit, and waited. He did not wait long, as a white light engulfed him, and the crystal vanished. When he came to, he was growing Null crystals out of random places on his body, and his appearance had changed. He felt... stronger than ever.
His rampage started when he tested his new power on some weaker demons. If they had even gone near him, their powers would be completely sucked away while his brute strength killed them off easy. He was spared his physical power and incredible constitution, but was unable to use any magical abilities. Instead, he could grow more Null crystals as a replacement to any kind of magical prowess. He had also gained a very thick crystalline hide due to his bond with the crystal.
While he gained the power of the Null, now re-naming himself Oouxxi, or "Nullifier", Raal practiced with his abilities, getting more powerful the more he used them. He learned control, accuracy, strength of mind through iron will and concentration, and a sense of tranquility. Raal isn't fond of others getting harmed, due to his only friends getting butchered by his envious eldest sibling. He had never forgotten that event. The psychic demon learned through branching his mind that there was something beyond the demon realm, and he wanted to explore. This included the new tower that had so recently appeared during his slippery escape to the human world.
He'd have to watch his back for Oouxxi, though, and not get other involved in his affairs until he can find a way to kill the eldest one permanently. His older brother has become a wild card, for demons, humans, and other races alike. Death is the only way to stop his mindless bloodlust for good.

Special Abilities:
Kinetic Mastery
Raal has mastered psychokinesis, which covers all forms of psychic energy. He can make brains explode, read minds (although he thinks its rude, so he doesn't do it), move extremely heavy objects with a thought, levitation, mental communication, distort and warp reality, teleportation (short and long range), create incredibly difficult-to-break shields against attacks, and cause insanity, as well as other brain-related problems. He attacks the mind and the nervous system, making even the most muscular of beasts submit and plea for mercy.
This mastery also takes a toll on his mind as well, as a steep price for having such a huge power.
This mastery also takes a toll on his mind as well, as a steep price for having such a huge power.
Psycho Vortex
Raal hates using Psycho Vortex. If done properly, it could break even demons down to crying and begging for mercy, as it causes thought feedback and eventually utter madness. If they're already mad, then they go through a thorough loop that breaks them down even further. If he isn't careful, he'll cause the feedback on himself. His mind had developed a failsafe against this to prevent himself from going mad. Raal goes unconscious, the only failsafe his mind can safely perform. This attack is a Reality-Bender, and therefore extremely dangerous on both himself and those around him. He'll use this one if the situation calls for it.
Psychological Warfare
Raal spawns different types of weapons using only kinetic energy. They are violet in appearance, semi-transparent, and radiate psychic energies, which gives them away as a spawned weapon. Raal has to stand in one spot to make this work. If he moves, or is moved, the weapons disappear all at once instantly. The more he concentrates, the more weapons appear, so there could be only one, or thousands. They may seem transparent and harmless, but they can be blocked, parried, and do damage. They also move on their own, with Raal branching his mind to fight with the spawned weapons. He is not protected by his invisible psychic shield, so he is perfectly vulnerable to attacks if the enemy does get through his mental arsenal.
Brain Wave Bomb
Psychic explosions. What more can a psychic demon ask for? Raal creates a condensed, compressed ball of psychic energy, then launches it. The bomb, on impact, can shatter glass and cause buildings to collapse, even burn marks and sharp welts from the aftermath. After the bomb goes off, he has to stop and wait, as the recoil gives him a headache. Too many bombs equals such a migrane that he has to stop using his psychic energy entirely, or risk a mental meltdown, quite literally.
Mind Over Matter
This passive ability allows his psychic attacks to have more of a punch... although slightly, as a secondary bonus. The primary function is more steered toward his kinetic shield, which he has on at all times. The shield is invisible, and those sensitive to vibrations will be able to tell that its there. Mind Over Matter allows the shield to have heavier resistance to all types of energies (as well as damages), and helps shield his mind against backlashes and other mind-related attacks. It doesn't mean he still can't get a headache from the backlashes, because he is very much vulnerable to them, and would die from them if it weren't for this ability.
Unending Nightmare
Raal digs within his own psyche, conjuring up some of the most horrendous things to spawn from any living thing, and yes they do deal damage and can be slain. Much like Psychological Warfare, the things he spawns will be semi-transparent, violet, and be radiating psychic energy, but to enemies who see them, they'll be very real indeed. Psychic spawned tentacles could lash and grab from the walls or ceiling, or other haunts and horrors could terrorize and slay enemies. He cannot use this in conjunction with Psychological Warfare, so it’s either one or the other. This one is less safe to use due to heavy backlash, but more powerful, as it can instill fear, and he can focus on a "bodyguard" than multiple blades. Again, he has to stand still for this to work. If he moves, or is moved, the haunts will vanish.
