Anyone else getting an Arashi vibe from these?
Because that's what I immediately thought of while watching these.

Doubtful. It's a viral campaign WWE is doing, most likely for a returning WWE Superstar. I just got a kind of Arashi feel from it.

Not dark enough to be the Arashi. It seems more like something Maricul would do. Bringing all of existence underneath the same umbrella literally would be the end of the world, as we know it.

While I lean more towards Undertaker myself it'd be hilarious if this actually has nothing to do with Raw or Smackdown and more to do with a new movie being released by WWE Studios.

I think that would cause a riot and a huge boycott by fans.

If it was Maricul it'd be a girl talking.

If it was written by Ayen, yeah it would be. He always has favored the female gender in his writing. I'm the polar opposite in that regard.

If it was Maricul it'd be a girl talking. Not necessarily. Maricul always has been bias against the male sex for as long as I can remember, considering them to be less than that of their female companion. The girl in the back on the second video could signify Maricul as the puppet master with the boy just being the puppet. Then again we're taking comparing this video to DOA characters way too seriously.

Is it just me or does the buttons on his sleeve say DX? This is way too dark a promo to have anything to do with D-Generation X so if I'm reading that right obvious red herring is obvious.

I caught that too but I think it just says CK. The boy is probably wearing a Calvin Klein suit.

Whoever it's for it's practically a guarantee that the reveal will be a major letdown. WWE has been doing this since 2007. They come up with an amazing series of cryptic promos for a big return, it gets everyone talking, guessing who it is and then on the date the reveal happens huge letdown. The reveal isn't anywhere near as epic as the buildup makes it out to be and things return to normal in a couple of weeks and it's almost always the first couple of guesses.
So enjoy it now while you can because whatever this is building up to the reveal isn't going to be anywhere as good as the actual buildup is.
Never would have thought about associating this with DOA characters though.
