Sneaking in

[Miracle]

People were staring, gasping, covering the ears of their children so they would not be tainted by the woman's confession nearby. Some stares went to Miracle, wondering what on Genesis possessed the child to think it was a good idea for a confession to be aired out in public like this. The young High Priestess has slowly been losing favor with everyone since the destruction of Aircano and this misunderstanding between Clash and herself certainly didn't make things any better.

"Stop, please! No more!"

Miracle quickly regained her composure. She wasn't accustomed to losing it but that what the past couple of months of stress has done to her. The weight of the world has always been on her shoulders but now more than just her world lied on her shoulders. The entire fate of the universe hung in the balance with each choice she made. Miracle couldn't begin to imagine what Amoura must have felt like.

"Confessions are to be private, Clash. What I meant was professing your new found faith in Christ. Do you understand?"

[Clash]

"Oh- OHHH! Okay... Sorry, ehehehe..."

Clash gave a nervous laugh, her face practically burning in embarrassment as she rubbed the back of her head, messing with her hair. She was suddenly aware of how the once seemingly empty streets were bustling with people now that were here to listen to her revealing her deepest secrets to Miracle and her lords, Yahweh and Jesus Christ. She looked down, hoping she hadn't caused too much embarrassment to the young priestess, she swallowed and looked at Miracle. Dropping to her knees as she kept her voice as steady as possible, though it was cracking from the shame Clash realized she had caused herself and her new friend:

"I, Clash, do solemnly swear to accept Yahweh and Jesus Christ into my heart, to live by their teachings and to follow their teachings and the words of their followers on Genesis."

Miracle kept a smile on her face. She had encountered things that threatened to mentally and physically break her. She could handle some embarrassment. Kneeling down in front of Clash she rested a hand on her shoulder, still smiling towards the new follower of Christ.

"Welcome to the Kingdom, sister."

The young High Priestess stood up and motioned for Clash to do the same.

"Today is the beginning of your new life. How do you feel?"

[Clash]

"I feel..."

Clash closed her eyes, letting the feeling sink into her stomach, it was a strange warmth in this very cold land. A sense of peace moved through her, spreading outwards. All her worries, her past transgressions, her previous mistakes were an old skin, peeling away. Redemption was a palpable, tangible thing to her, the here and the now were all around her and all that lay before her was a golden path. She smiled and looked to Miracle.

"I feel Reborn, Miracle."

She stood as well and smiled, it was a warm and peaceful smile, opposed to the somewhat bubbly grin she had before, but then she blinked and looked at Miracle with that same naive look she had in her eyes just before she arrived.

"uh... Do the bathrooms here work?"
