There was blood on her hands, not visibly but it was still there and she could still hear their screams. A family whose only crime was watching a cartoon show on television but Utena's sensitive mind saw it as something else. She saw a family in the comfort of their own home, laughing at the misery of someone else. It reminded her of her life, the life that was no more but a simple show on television. How many people laughed at her misery? How many people got off on watching her endure all that heartache back at Ohtori? By that point they may as well have been laughing at her face.
Utena had taken a knife and stabbed their son first, right in front of them, ignoring their pleads for her to stop and repeatedly shoving the knife deeper into his chest until he was dead. It was the same thing with the girl, only difference being she cried far more than the boy did. Both parents was a sobbing mess after that. They wanted to die by that point. Utena still doubted their very existence but the guilt that came from taking a life haunted her all the same. Now she was sat down on a bench at a bus stop, waiting. Twiddling her thumbs while waiting for the bus to arrive so she could return to the hotel she was staying at. Utena had no home to go back to. No family. The only thing she had was the nice warm bed back at the hotel. No more, no less. Suddenly she heard footsteps approaching her position, having nothing else to hold her interest Utena turned her head to see who they belonged to.

The footsteps belonged to Kara Kent who's decided to take the long way home instead of relying on her Superhuman Speed. Besides it was always fun to ride the bus and with all the new people that kept appearing in Moon Valley it was a sure thing that you always got to meet somebody new. Kara wouldn't even make it to the bus before she saw someone unfamiliar sitting down at the bus stop. From far away it looked like Tori but as she got closer Kara noticed several differences that set the girl apart from Tori. Unless Tori grew her hair out, dyed it pink, bought some blue eye contacts and shrunk down a few inches since their last conversation, that wasn't her.
"Hi!" Kara greeted happily while sitting down on the bench next to her. "I'm Kara, I haven't seen you around before. Nice to meet you." A smile planted on her face, Kara lent her hand out to the stranger in order to shake it. "You know, you remind me of one of my friends. I have to ask, do you know a Tori Jacobs?"
((ooc: and no she isn't wearing the Super-Girl suit, just FYI))

Utena's eyes bare witness to a blonde who looked to be too happy and cheerful for her own good. Just great... The girl pondered on giving Kara her name since everyone else she has spoken to here made a reference to "Revolutionary Girl Utena" the name of the show her world was reduced to in this one. It was enough to make her blood boil. Hesitantly Utena shook her hand and introduced herself, "Utena." Utena brought her hand back to her lap as now Kara asked if she knew somebody named Tori. The name didn't sound the least bit familiar and unless it was the name of the girl or woman she had killed last night, Utena never met her.
"Sorry, no. I only just got in." Utena shared a quick glance at Kara's throat, daydreaming about slicing it with her knife or impaling her to her seat with the rapier, both weapons being concealed on her person. The only thing that kept Utena from fulfilling her sick fantasy was the fact they were both out in the open. It would be too easy for a witness to spot them and then she'd have to track down and kill the witness, and if there was a witness to that crime-- oh well, you got the general idea. It would be messy and a waste of time. "Are you from here?"

"In a manner of speaking." Kara had to hold back the giggle-snort that wanted to come out after saying that. Yes, Kara giggled and she snorted, some time a variation of the two came together to perform one solid action. Not today. "I've lived here for as long as I can remember. It isn't much but it's home all the same." And Kara wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. She was glad that of all the places for an alien baby to crash land, it was here.
"You said your name was Utena? As in Utena Tenjou?" Kara did not realize the can of worms she was opening with that question. "I love that show! I watch it with my friend Tori all the time. Gosh, now I know why you remind me of her. Tori looks so much like Utena Tenjou it's almost terrifying."

Kara didn't know it yet but she had just signed her and her friend's death warrants. Utena forced the scowl that was growing on her face into a smile before looking back over to the blonde. "I would love to meet her!" That was no lie, Utena would love to meet her and disfigure her so bad it purges any and all remaining similarities the two shared. It was bad enough that people actually dressed up like her, her friends, her enemies and pretended to be them but there was actual look alikes in this world too? Reality was a bitch and if Utena didn't know any better, which she certainly didn't right now, she would say that reality wanted her to be a killer. It wanted to keep pushing her and pushing her to see how far she'd go in this new life.
Wait! What am I doing? This isn't how a prince is supposed to act! In all of her anger from last night Utena had almost forgotten what she was still aspiring to be. A fair and just prince who helped people, not kill them. A battle of self waged on within the depths of Utena's very soul and as much as she wanted to be that "prince" from her past, Utena couldn't deny how much pleasure killing people gives her. The strange calm that consumed her when she pierces her victim flesh with her blades, the thrill that gets her off when the lights go out and the body in her arms goes limp. There was no greater feeling in the world. No! That isn't you! It isn't! Utena held onto her head like she had a major headache, forgetting all about the woman who was sitting right next to her.

Kara smiled, not catching any of the malicious undertones that was coming from Utena. She only ever saw the best in people, it was considered both a strength and a weakness, of course in Kara's mind it was a strength and nothing else. Kara always enjoyed making new friends and this potential was already interested in meeting the friends she had already, what could go wrong? If only she knew. If only. Kara would look back to Utena just in time to see that she was in pain over something, what she couldn't be sure. Of all the powers she possessed being a mind reader certainly wasn't one of them. A quick scan with her X-Ray vision didn't find anything wrong either. "Hey. Are you ok?"

Utena got up from the bench, she couldn't stay here but that damn bus was taking it sweet time getting here. She would have to walk to her next destination and get as far away from the people here as she possibly could before hurting anyone else. Utena didn't want to be the cause of more deaths, the four on her conscious was still tearing at her soul. Her round blue eyes, which have increasingly become more narrow as time went on, looked back to Kara. She had to think of an excuse to leave but ideas weren't coming to her brain anytime fast. "I'm fine! I just-- I just--" Utena clamped her hands on her head tighter, grunting in pain and gritting her teeth as she tried so hard to stay in control of herself. To not cave into the desire to kill the girl sitting down on the bench. She hasn't done anything to deserve it. It's not like she was responsible for her world only being a TV show. It's not like she or anyone else could have known that the show they love so much was real in a whole another life. Who was she to punish them for that?
It wasn't right. Utena knew that. But she was also starting to realize something else. That it wasn't about her world being a TV show anymore. She had killed innocent people, developing a taste for it. Growing addicted to it now, like a drug. It was even hurting her to try to stop, like she was going into withdraw from the lack of death by her hands. What was she becoming? This wasn't the Utena of Ohtori Academy that everyone loved, it was a horrible and disgusting monster. What would her friends back home say? What would Anthy say if she saw her like this? No, no she couldn't bare the thought of what they'd think. It was time for a change. One way or another she had to fight this, she had to! Before any more innocent people were hurt because of her. Utena lowered her arms from the top of her head and started to regain control of her composure. "I'm sorry, I have to go. The bus is taking too long I need to get home."

Immediately Kara could tell there was something wrong with Utena and wanted to help her. The girl didn't look to be in any condition of going anywhere alone so Kara stood up from the bench and walked over to her side. "Are you sure you want to walk it? Where are you staying at? I could walk you home to make sure you get there all right." It made more sense to wait for and ride the bus if she was suffering from a headache. "Or I could try to fetch a cab for you, if you want."

Dammit! Why did this person have to care so much? Why couldn't she be a heartless bitch who only cared about her own problems? Then she wouldn't have to worry about someone wanting to perform a good deed for her benefit when all she needed was to isolate herself from the rest of the city. Utena had to think of a lie and think of it quick, lying however wasn't exactly a strong point of hers. It wasn't really something an honorable prince would do but the truth really wasn't going to do her any favors right now. She really doubted this girl would believe she was THE Utena from the TV show and had to get away from her before she went insane and killed her for being a fan. Yeah, that would go over real well wouldn't it? "Thank you but I'll be fine. Really."
Utena gave Kara a weak smile and then went on her way, trying to prove to herself more than anything that her will was still strong but not willing to put others at risk to prove it. She was starting to actually miss Ohtori Academy, back where everything was simple and considering the things that happened during her time there that was saying something. At least back then Utena had a good grip on her own reality, she wasn't constantly questioning whether or not the things around her was real. She wasn't constantly questioning whether or not she was real. The bus finally came to the bus stop letting people off but by then Utena would be long gone. Searching for a place where people wouldn't want to be. The mountains were starting to look good right about now.

At the arrival of the bus Kara had a choice to make. Follow Utena to make sure she got home ok or enter the bus. To her it wasn't really much of a choice, she couldn't sleep in all good conscious until she knew Utena was safe even if she had only known her for a couple of minutes. Kara sat up from the bench and went after the pink haired female and the fact she had pink hair didn't raise any questions at all. Kara just figured she had really good pink hair dye in her possession. To make sure Utena wouldn't spot and yell at her for following Kara stayed two buildings behind and was naturally fast enough to take cover in case Utena turned her head to look back.

As she walked Utena couldn't shake the suspicion that somebody was following her. That paranoia increased in her body, crawling up her spine and causing the hairs on the back of her neck to stand up. The former champion of Ohtori turned her head around, just enough to look back over her shoulder but saw nothing to indicate any of her paranoia was justified. Utena frowned, turning back and continuing on her walk while trying to ignore the creepy feelings she had. Paranoia was no way to live and even though she knew this, Utena couldn't shed it no matter how hard she tried. Much like her own insanity. Both was starting to cement their way into her personality, bringing her down to a pit she couldn't escape from no matter how hard she struggled.
Utena stopped at a corner and turned her head back around again. Still nothing. Relax, Utena. Just relax. Easier said than done but Utena would at the very least try. She finally arrived at the entrance which led to the mountain area of the village hoping to find a nice secured location up here, although naturally Utena wasn't expecting anything particularly amazing for obvious reasons, anything would do by this point. In her mind she didn't deserve the nice hotel room she had originally. A secured part of the mountains were perfect for people like her. A monster.

June was on her way home from Junior High when she saw Kara up ahead following some girl with pink hair. Curious about what was going on June approached Kara and tapped her shoulder from behind. If Utena was to turn her head back around now she would see half of June peaking out from behind one of the buildings as she obviously had no way of knowing Kara was trying to be secretive.
“What are you doing?”

The mountains? Why would she want to go there? Oh no, what if she was really poor and had to endure the hardship of the mountains in Moon Valley to survive? What if she had nowhere else to go here in Moon Valley and it was next to impossible for her to get a job? Kara couldn't stand for this injustice! She would offer her a place to stay at her house surely her parents wouldn't mind. But before she could reveal herself to hatch this plan June came up from behind. "June, what are you doing here!?" Kara spoke as quietly as possible while pulling June towards her to conceal her presence from Utena's field of vision. "Shh! I'm following this girl so I need you to be quiet."

The voices coming from behind Utena's position wasn't doing her sanity any favors. Once again Utena turned her head to look behind her shoulder and again saw nothing to indicate she was being followed, but this time she wasn't so willing to wave it off as nothing like before. Utena made her way towards the corner spot where she heard the noise quietly, and slowly, while reaching her right hand down to the handle of her sword just in case. Turning around the same very corner Utena's blue eyes would land upon.....

Nothing. Utena's eyes would lay upon nothing. Hearing her coming Kara placed a hand over June's mouth and grabbed her tightly before zipping straight up through the air, landing by the ledge of the same building they were hiding behind. That was too close for comfort. To ensure June didn't panic and fight her grip she whispered into her ear. "Don't worry I'll explain everything later, for now the short version; I have superpowers. Neat right?"
